How To Protect Your NOs

You can imbibe on the entire book in one, short, intentionally happier hour: Get Your Copy Here   If you’re in the habit of saying YES even when you mean NO or NOT YET, changing this habit requires smalls shifts: identify how YES or NO shows up in your body tell yourself the truth about your YES or NOs practice saying NO to things you aren’t:willing to do capable of doing  anticipate this feeling really uncomfortable if you resist saying NO, get curious about what your brain is telling you might be the worst thing another person may:think feel say about you once you’re in the habit of identifying and communicating your NOs to others, pay attention to how you respond when others don’t respect your NOs. do you give in? do you react? do you clarify your NO“If you’d like me to deliver this for you, please have it on my porch by tomorrow morning by 8. If it’s not there when I leave at 8, I’ll assume you decided to handle the delivery yourself.” If they deliver the item after you’ve already left, remind them of your initial boundary:“If you’ll remember, I mentioned that I was leaving to deliver the items I had by 8. Please grab your item and make other plans as I’ve already gone.” I invite you to consider these questions: What might prevent you from protecting your NO?
