Icing On the Cake

Welcome to today's episode of Queerly Popular! Today we are talking about the 2025 book Icing On the Cake by Christopher J. Brice. It is quite the fun romance book about a grumpy librarian and a hockey star on a college campus. As a warning, this book talks frequently and explicitly about sex, penises, butts, kinks, and admiration for those (and other) body parts. This episode will also make frequent references to those things, so if that bothers you, please listen carefully. The book is lovely and really enjoyable, so I hope the frank discussions of sex won't dissuade you from reading the book. It does appear to be the first book in a potential series, so I am waiting to hear more about that. We will be back on December 4th when we will talk about the Netflix movie Let It Snow.
