This week we decided to dream of warm weather and beaches, it's not quite summer but we're ready for it anyway. We watched the original Point Break from 1991 starring Keanu Reeves, doing some gunwork pre-John Wick, and Patrick Swayze after he learned how to do those big kicks on Roadhouse. The movie has surfing, bank robbing, even a gnarly looking Anthony Kiedis and plenty of warm summer vibes.Our drink of choice for this week was Big Wave by Kona Brewing Company, a delicious golden ale. I don't know if this is what the surfers in Hawaii like to drink or not, but I definitely see myself cooling off with a few of these during the hot Kentucky summer in a couple of months. The flavor is very unique with hints of tropical fruit hiding in the back end.
