Jeremiah Bourgeois on Incarceration & Reform

In this episode, Jeremiah Bourgeois, a journalist, legal scholar, formerly incarcerated person, and matriculating law student, discusses his personal experiences and his legal scholarship. Bourgeois begins by describing the crime he committed and the experience of being incarcerated as a teenager. He explains how he became interested in learning and writing about the law. And he describes his own legal scholarship, and how it has meaningfully impacted criminal justice reform in the State of Washington.
