Jeremy Norris, The Battle to Self Acceptance & Self Worth

from Trauma Recovery Anonymous · host richiejtierney

Jeremy shares his story, his journey from hopelessness to finding his purpose. He shares the lows and highs of looking for acceptance and approval from outside on himself. He talks about where he is today and how he strives to help others find peace of mind today. Today, Jeremy is a documentary journalist, yet he remembers being a geek and a nerd. Once, Jeremy needed validation from outside of himself, whereas today, he is quite comfortable with who he is. "Do unto others as you would like it done unto you." This is the moral and ethical concept that Jeremy takes from his catholic upbringing. We are all just trying to figure it out together, so if we can focus on what unites us as human beings. Never give up, keep going, do your best, no one can do it for you, it's always up to the individual, the opportunity to be the best we can be, and Jeremy would be interested in documenting your story if it resonates with him. Jeremy finishes with some practices to embrace that will change your life.  It's all about making the decision to be true to the person you are meant to be today. We were all put on this earth to make a difference, and no matter how small an effort you make, even a smile or a gratuity of some kind, can be the difference in encouraging others not to give up on life. #theskyisland @jeremynorrie
