June 22nd 2025 "ACTS Chapter 19 & 20"

Today we look at Acts 19 & 20 where Paul is in Ephesus meeting disciples who only knew John’s baptism. He teaches them about Jesus, and they receive the Holy Spirit. Paul then teaches for two years in the lecture hall of Tyrannus, spreading the gospel throughout Asia. Paul's message threatens the idol trade, and Demetrius the silversmith stirs up a riot, but the city clerk calms the crowd. In Acts 20, Paul travels through Macedonia and Greece, strengthening the churches. In Troas, he raises Eutychus from the dead after the young man falls during a long sermon. On his way to Jerusalem, Paul stops in Miletus and gives a heartfelt farewell to the Ephesian elders. He reminds them of his example, warns of future false teachers, and urges them to care for the church. Though hardship awaits, Paul is determined to obey God’s call.
