Remaining resilient has allowed Shayla to bounce back even from the worst of tragedies. Shayla accepted that it is impossible to go back to who she was before each painful period of her life and was able to discover how to be the best version of herself with what she currently has.Our last caller, Eddie, was initially addicted to several toxic habits and moved on to a time-consuming gaming addiction that leaves him feeling angry. Nancy instructs Eddie to turn his negative habit into a positive one by instead dedicating the same amount of time he spends on gaming with something else such as cooking or going to the gym. Eddie can visualize letting go of a great weight to rid himself of his harmful obsessions and have more control.Maybe there was a time when you found yourself giving up on achieving your desires despite aiming for not settling.
