Lets Question Taking Action

from Simz Serotonin · host Let’s Life Together

💭 Is Ambition always a good thing? 🧽 At the start of my current job, I was guided to be a sponge. My excitement and ambition meant that I was determined to get involved quickly and take action. However, with time, I realised the importance of sitting back and learning simultaneously. This has me reflecting on my learning style, perhaps I prefer learning while practicing and that’s why I was eager to get started. That being said, being a sponge has shown me the significance of absorbing all the important information to be able to execute accordingly 💭 Now that it’s been some time and I’ve both been a sponge as well as taken action, I’m in different levels of absorption, a whole different sponge let’s say 🤣 As a lover of learning I believe I’ll forever be a sponge but how do I balance between being a sponge and taking action, am I taking enough action, am I implementing my learnings correctly? 🍎 On my way to get some fresh fruit from Sainz, I then start ranting about protein bars… anyone else think they lowkey taste like cardboard? Some are great, others … aren’t 😅 but give me protein bar recommendations , it’d be fun to try your favourites 🫶🏼 🌟 I hope this gave you some serotonin Bizou 💋
