Lightbringer Pendant: Wirework and Resin Technique [Eng-Spa]

This time, we're going to make a pendant inspired by the Kiara Lightbringer card from @splinterlands using two of my favorite techniques: wire art and resin. Colgante Lightbringer: Técnica de alambrismo y resina Materials: For this project, we will need: Sheet of paper Pencil #18 jewelry wire UV resin Colored chocolate sprinkles Rhodium pendant ring We will also need a UV lamp, jewelry tweezers, a round file, and some safety equipment such as a mask and gloves. Materiales: Para este proyecto vamos a utilizar: Hoja de papel Lápiz Alambre de bisutería # 18 Resina UV Chispas de chocolate de colores Argolla de rodio para colgantes También vamos a necesitar una lámpara UV, pinzas para bisutería, madril redondo, algunos implementos de seguridad como mascarilla y guantes. Preparation: -Start by drawing the design of the pendant on the white sheet of paper with a pencil. Elaboración: -Comenzamos haciendo el diseño del colgante en la hoja blanca a lápiz . -Take the wire and silicone pliers and stretch and heat the wire to make it easier to handle. -Tomamos el alambre y la pinza de silicona y vamos a estirar y calentar el alambre para un mejor manejo del mismo. -We follow each line of the design with the wire until it looks as close as possible to the original. -Seguimos cada línea del diseño con el alambre hasta lograr que quede lo mejor parecido posible. -We use the pliers and the mandrel to help us make each curve. -Nos vamos ayudando de las pinzas y del mandril para hacer cada curva. -Once we have finished designing the wire pendant, the fun part begins: encapsulating the chocolate sprinkles in resin to give the rainbow its color. -Una vez que terminamos el diseño del colgante en alambre, viene lo divertido, encapsular con resina las chispitas de chocolate para darle color al arcoiris. -Apply a layer of UV resin using the wire as a guide. Arrange the chocolate sprinkles by color and cure the resin using the UV lamp. The UV resin needs 120 seconds of light to cure. -Colocamos una capa de resina UV utilizando el alambre como contorno. Ubicamos las chispitas de chocolate por colores y vamos a endurecer la resina con ayuda de la lámpara UV. Para que la resina UV se endurezca necesitamos 120 segundos de luz. -We cover with resin at the end so that all the colorful chocolate sprinkles are encapsulated. -Cubrimos con resina al final para que todas las chispitas de chocolate de colores queden encapsuladas. -To finish, we add a ring and a chain. And that's it! We have a beautiful pendant combining two techniques, which I personally love. -Para finalizar le colocamos una argolla y una cadena. Y listo!
