Compiled by the Low-Altitude Economy Branch of the China Information Industry Association, the report aims to provide theoretical support and practical reference for the safe, healthy and sustainable development of China’s low-altitude economy.Consisting of eight chapters, the report is based on national strategies and the overall development of the industry. It sorts out the development context, technical characteristics and industrial chain of low-altitude infrastructure, analyzes the business scope, technical system and policy environment, and puts forward targeted development paths and countermeasures through typical cases and forward-looking judgments. The report points out that as an important part of new quality productive forces, low-altitude economy has become a key area to promote the optimization and upgrading of economic structure and create new drivers for high-quality development.Low-altitude infrastructure is the cornerstone of low-altitude economic development. It includes physical elements such as comprehensive take-off and landing facilities and flight service facilities, as well as digital platforms like low-altitude intelligent connectivity systems, serving as a key support for realizing “effectively regulated, fully liberalized, and smoothly operated” low-altitude flights. The report also puts forward eight forward-looking development trends and six major suggestions, emphasizing that the construction of low-altitude infrastructure is a long-term and systematic project requiring joint efforts from all parties. The next five years are a strategic opportunity period, and efforts should be made to accelerate the construction of a modern low-altitude infrastructure system to lay a solid foundation for the high-quality development of the low-altitude economy.新闻2:https://www.ainonline.com/aviation-news/futureflight/2025-11-24/aero-asia-show-set-open-zhuhai-chinaThe 2025 Aero Asia Show to Kick Off in ZhuhaiNovember 24th, 2025The 2025 Aero Asia Show will open on November 27th at the Zhuhai International Airshow Center in China. Marking the second edition of this biennial event, it has attracted 381 companies from 22 countries and regions, with exhibitors covering business aviation, general aviation, and advanced air mobility sectors.Exhibits fall into seven major categories: single- and twin-engine airplanes, electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing (eVTOL) vehicles, light sport aircraft, civil drones and uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS), helicopters, kit airplanes, and aircraft refueling equipment. Co-organized by Zhuhai Airshow Group Company Limited and Messe Frankfurt (Hong Kong) Limited, the event is also supported by the latter’s Fairnamic joint venture with Messe Friedrichshafen, which operates Germany’s annual Aero Friedrichshafen show and sister exhibitions in South Africa.Themed “A New Era, Explore More,” this year’s show emphasizes cooperation between Chinese and German enterprises and is the only international general aviation exhibition approved by China’s Ministry of Commerce. Exhibitors include Chinese eVTOL manufacturers such as Aerofugia and AutoFlight, as well as Germany-based Volocopter, which is now backed by the Chinese owners of Diamond Aircraft. Major Western manufacturers showcasing their products include Bombardier, Bell Textron, and Pratt & Whitney Canada. State-owned aerospace and defense giant Aviation Industries of China will have a strong presence, and the show is also supported by the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association of China.Edward Che, Executive Director of Messe Frankfurt (Zhuhai) Airshow Company Limited, told Aviation International News (AIN): “As the 2025 Aero Asia Show draws near, on-site preparations are nearly complete. As organizers, we are excited about what awaits both professional visitors and aviation enthusiasts.” He added, “The significant growth in scale and internationalization of the show’s second edition is a testament to the vast potential of general aviation in the Asia-Pacific region and China’s world-leading low-altitude economy. We are pleased with the positive progress the Aero brand has made in Asia and look forward to further growth in the years ahead.”新闻3:https://www.ainonline.com/aviation-news/defense/2025-11-21/indian-fighter-jet-crashes-dubai-airshowIndian Tejas Jet Crashes at Dubai Airshow, Pilot KilledNovember 21st, 2025The Indian Air Force (IAF) confirmed an Indian Tejas fighter jet crashed during the Dubai Airshow’s flying display on Friday morning, killing its sole pilot. The IAF expressed deep regret over the loss of life, stood with the bereaved family in grief, and said a court of inquiry has been set up to determine the accident’s cause. The pilot was identified as Naman Syal, a thirty-something IAF Wing Commander from Kangra district, Himachal Pradesh. Reports say the crash happened at around 2:10 p.m. local time on Friday—the Dubai Airshow’s final day—near Al Maktoum International Airport. Flying performances resumed afterward. The Dubai Media Office stated firefighting and emergency teams responded quickly to handle the scene. In service since 2015, the Tejas is a single-engine fourth-generation fighter designed by India’s Aeronautical Development Agency and built by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited. It is India’s second domestic fighter jet. This marks the Tejas’ second accident; one crashed during training in western India in March 2024, with the pilot ejecting safely and no casualties. The IAF currently operates about 30 Tejas Mark 1 jets. India announced plans to buy 97 Tejas Mk 1A jets in September, while deliveries of 83 ordered in 2021 have been delayed to March 2026 due to engine procurement holdups.新闻4:https://www.ainonline.com/aviation-news/air-transport/2025-11-24/faas-bedford-atc-apps-key-innovating-fasterFAA’s Bedford: ATC Apps Critical to Faster InnovationNovember 24th, 2025Bryan Bedford, Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), told industry leaders at last week’s Honeywell Aviation Leadership Conclave in Washington, D.C., that the agency needs an Air Traffic Control (ATC) system based on iPad-like applications. Bedford said new tools will be adopted, including commercial off-the-shelf systems.“We have to move from an analog National Airspace System (NAS) to a digital one,” he stated. “Rearchitecting the ATC system is more important than how data is delivered.” Bedford added that ATC systems like the Standard Terminal Automation Replacement System (STARS), along with advanced technologies and oceanic procedures, are among the most sophisticated and safe in the world. However, these systems are not connected, and only controllers at New York TRACON can access local traffic data. The goal is to create a common automation system with all data stored in the cloud. The agency will build a four-layer system: computers at the bottom, followed by an operating system layer, a data layer, and an application layer on top. “The application layer is where the magic will happen,” Bedford said. This will shift the FAA’s approach to air traffic from tactical to strategic, potentially increasing capacity by 20 percent while unlocking an innovation pace that has eluded the agency. In response to a question, Bedford noted that the new system is expected to better serve business and general aviation than the current one.The audio and content of this podcast shall not be used for AI model training or any other purposes.
