The Collectors have been defeated and the galaxy is in a relative period of peace. The Reapers are still in dark space beyond the destroyed Batarian relay and do not yet encroach on Citadel space. Commander Shepard has been taken in Alliance Custody on Earth and is awaiting trial. Salarian Spectre Jondum Bau and his team have received intelligence regarding where the next likely target is for the thefts, a Salarian STG black site known as "The Fermi Institute". The Citadel investigative team has uncovered knowledge the thefts are definitely connected and could be apart of an attack which could have consequences on a planetary scale if deployed against a population. A race against the clock is on and our biotic squad has only scratched the surface of the true plot of those involved.
