Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” This is your night prayer for protection, courage, and peaceful rest. If the quiet of the evening allows worries to rise, or if you feel vulnerable as the day closes, this moment is for you. This is a prayer to settle your heart and rest in the covering of God. We are praying from the words of Jesus in the Lord’s Prayer — “Deliver us from evil.” Father, as the day comes to an end, we draw near to You. Not holding on to what has passed. Not fearing what may come. But resting in Your presence. You are our protector. You are watching over us. You are guarding every part of our lives, even now. And Your Word reminds us—  we do not need to be afraid. Because You are with us. So we pause here. We allow the noise of the day to settle. We allow our thoughts to grow quiet.  We allow our hearts to rest in You. So I release every fear that has followed me into this night. I release the unease that lingers in the quiet. I release the thoughts that try to disturb my rest. I release it. And now, I receive. I receive Your peace over my mind. I receive courage deep within my spirit. I receive the assurance that I am safe in Your care. I receive. And now I rest. Not in fear. Not in uncertainty. But in the presence of God. God is with you now. You are not alone tonight. You are covered.  You are held. You are safe. Across the world, wherever we are listening, You are bringing peace. From Jerusalem to Lagos, from New York to Manila, Your Spirit is protecting, strengthening, and calming Your people.
