"No celebrities, no cable TV, no water" | Tank Girl

This week we are wrapping up our selections from our viewer poll a while back. We watched the 1995 cult classic comic book movie Tank Girl starring Lori Petty. It's an amazing film with colorful characters, female empowerment and an amazing post-punk soundtrack to go with the riot grrrl aesthetic. Between the subversive humor, feminist values and just the fact that it was a comic book movie in 1995, it's clear that this movie was just ahead of its time.Our drink for the week was Tank 7, an American Saison made by Boulevard Brewing Co. A nice strong beer that came in swinging just as hard as Tank Girl herself, in a can with colors I think she would approve of too. It was quite refreshing and had a delicious fruity aroma with a slight hint of grapefruit to the taste.
