Detroit Catholic: ‘Rising’ revival calls for Detroit faithful to be a people of hope rooted in ChristThroughout the day, the thousands of attendees will hear from renowned Catholic speakers such as Bishop Daniel E. Flores of Brownsville, Texas (and a former auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Detroit); Fr. John Riccardo, founder of ACTS XXIX and a priest of the Archdiocese of Detroit; Sr. Mary Grace, SV, of the Bronx, N.Y.-based Sisters of Life; and Jeff Cavins, creator and founder of the popular Great Adventure Bible Study. Nationally known musicians, such as Matt Maher, Sarah Kroger, Steve Angrisano and Sarah Hart, are set to perform, along with local artist Santiago Fernandez, at a concert at the end of the revival, wrapping a day of spiritual revival, praise and worship.Kristine Haas is the Director of Faith and Family Formation at our parish of the week, St. Joan of Arc in St. Clair Shores.· A longtime parishioner, Kristine brings a background in strategic and creative communications to her role in parish ministry, in which she has served for the past six years. She and her dedicated team enjoy supporting families and individuals as they grow in their faith and discover the joy of a life centered on Christ.· Kristine and her husband, Richard, have been blessed with five children and are now enjoying the joys of grandparenthood, with one grandchild and another on the way.
