Picking Up After Our Pets
from Talking FACS · host UK FCS Extension
Host: Mindy McCulley, Extension Specialist for Instructional Support, University of Kentucky Guest: Dr. Brad Lee, Extension Professor in Plant and Soil Sciences Season 5, Episode 41 As pet owners, we have many responsibilities. Picking up their waste should rank very high on the list. To be fair, about 60% of dog owners pick up after their best friends while in public, but for the health of our public water sources, we need to raise that number. Pet owners also need to get into the habit of picking up after their animals, all the time not just while in public. On this episode of Talking FACS, Dr. Brad Lee shares about the importance of picking up after pets to preserve Kentucky's water quality.
