Practical Mental Health Tips

from Bodcast Hosted by Candice Bodington

"I would like to start this by stating that everyone has mental health ~ we sometimes forget that. There can be a sense of “othering” when we talk about mental health but it’s incredibly important to remember that because you have brain, you have mental health. And the definition of mental health is not the absence of a mental illness; it’s includes our emotional, psychological and social wellbeing. It also determines how we handle stress, make life choices and relate to others. Just like you look after your body by caring for your physical health, so you should be looking after your mental health by caring for your brain." And in today's episode we talk about how to practically do that with our co-host Jessica Stanbridge, a qualified psychiatrist who specialises in women's mental health.
