I release everything into Your hands. Every thought that lingers, every concern that tries to follow me into this night, every weight that has built throughout the day—I place it before You now. I do not carry it any further. You are my covering. You stand over my life, not distant, not absent, but present and attentive. You see what I cannot see, and You guard what I cannot control. So I rest without fear. My surroundings may be quiet, but my peace does not come from silence—it comes from knowing that You are with me, watching, protecting, and holding me steady. You give me rest. Not a restless sleep, not a broken peace, but a deep, settled rest that restores me from within. My body relaxes. My mind slows. My heart becomes still in Your presence. And I hold on to this truth—You love me. Because You love me, You gave Your Son. Because You love me, I am not exposed. Because You love me, I am covered and secure in every moment of this night. Jesus, surround me with Your peace. Let this night be calm. Let my rest be uninterrupted. Let Your presence remain over me and within me. I sleep in safety.
