I do not remain exposed to fear—I come into the safety of Your presence. You are my refuge. You cover me gently, like a shelter that does not fail. Under Your care, I am protected. Under Your presence, I am secure. So I do not give space to fear. I do not allow anxious thoughts to take hold. I rest in the faithfulness that surrounds me. You are my shield. Jesus, strengthen me where I feel weak. Guard me where I feel vulnerable. Stand over me and around me as I rest. I do not face this night alone—I am held by You.
