Darnos cuenta de que somos mucho más que un poco yo encerrado en un Ego que hemos creado a base de creencias y pensamientos, somos mucho más de lo que está contenido en el espacio interior de la piel, formamos parte de un todo mucho más grande de lo que nos podamos imaginar, es por eso que a veces en momentos de necesidad imperiosa, incluso desesperación tratamos de conectar a través del rezo o la petición abierta al universo, naturaleza o como lo queramos llamar, para que venga a nuestro rescate y nos saque del atolladero en el que podamos estar. Esto se puede cultivar sin esperar a los extremos y se entrena en la meditación con la simbología de tomar refugio en el universo, o en el grupo de personas que practicamos, o en refugio en la propia práctica, y nos solo eso, sino que también todo lo demás toma refugio en quienes somos al mismo tiempo.
