She has previously worked as a youth worker and university lecturer and is currently the Director of MA Education Consultancy.Muna's work focuses primarily on educating practitioners in various fields on anti-oppressive and anti-racist practice as well as offering equity coaching and support as they embark on the challenge of creating anti-oppressive workspaces/practices. She suggests that there is little understanding or recognition of how historic trauma which is cumulative and collective, has an impact on an individual's experience in the workplace.
