Shelter
from Queerly Popular · host Mychel Vandover
Welcome to the final episode of the first season of Queerly Popular! Today, we are going to talk about the 2007 film Shelter, a film which won many awards at various festivals. This is in my top three queer movies of all time along with Love, Simon and The Thing About Harry. Although it is an independent film like Defying Gravity, the production values, acting, and dialogue are so much better (probably because they had more money too!). I cannot recommend this film highly enough. If you haven't seen it, you should see it as soon as you can. The podcast will be back on Thursday, February 9th with an episode about Love, Simon. I cannot wait to talk about this movie. In the meantime, please share this podcast with your friends, follow us on Twitter or Instagram (@queerlypopular), and send any questions or comments to [email protected]. Until February 9th then y'all! Have a wonderful new year!
