DJ Sol Mixography Space Cowboys DJ Sol comes from a background spanning 3 generations of musician's, so the music is definitely in his blood. Growing up in Los Angeles in the late 70s and early 80s, Sol found inspiration in the newly-emerging hip-hop sound of that era (e.g. Kurtis Blow, Grandmaster Flash and Afrika Bambaataa) - a style that became the impetus for a DJ career that now spans three decades. Explicit Aaron Pope Mixography Space Cowboys Aaron Pope’s philosophy is that “music is all about drawing positive energy out of people,” and that’s what most people remember when they see him play - his infectious, positive energy. A longtime music fan and dance floor resident, Aaron brings this joy and love of music behind the decks with him, and at every gig he is constantly moving and interacting with the crowd. Although he made his start as a house DJ in some of San Francisco’s largest clubs over a decade ago, Aaron’s musical range has continued to expand over the years.
