2021 startete direkt rasant, sowohl persönlich als auch aus der Perspektive der professionellen Kommunikation. Sachars Kommunikationsagentur „hypr“ ist 2020 stetig gewachsen und befindet sich nunmehr auf Internationalisierungskurs. Um diesen Prozess zu unterstützen ist Kristin seit Mitte Februar als neue COO mit an Bord. Timo erlebt den ersten Jahreswechsel mit seiner neu gegründeten Agentur „segmenta futurist:a“ und beschäftigt sich viel mit Diversity und coronabedingter Digitalisierung – privat und beruflich. Ein Trendthema, dass 2021 aus keinem LinkedIn- und Twitter-Feed wegzudenken ist: „Clubhouse“. Doch mittlerweile kann man getrost behaupten „Wie gewonnen so zerronnen”. Als Sachar sich frisch bei der Drop-In-Audio-App anmeldete, geriet er in eine Session mit Tarek Müller, der frei von der Leber weg über Investitionsstrategie und die Ratings seiner Unternehmen sprach und sah ein riesen Potential für PR-Schaffende. Wenn Sachar heute ins „Clubhouse“ kommt sind die Räume leer und auf den Panels wird nichts Neues erzählt. Quo vadis „Clubhouse“, ist der Hype vorbei oder ist es gekommen um zu bleiben? Kristin stolperte über eine Investigativrecherche des „stern“: Die Agentur WMP bot ihrem Kunden Wirecard an, unliebsame Journalist:innen je nach Themenzugewandtheit und Bewertung auf eine “schwarze Liste” zu setzen. Eine Praxis, über die sich Journalist:innen und Öffentlichkeit echauffieren. Wie es im PR-Alltag tatsächlich aussieht und was vor allem im Umgang mit Redakteur:innen überhaupt nicht geht, darüber spricht Kristin mit den beiden Co-Hosts. In den Artikeln zum Wetter oder im Nachbericht des örtlichen Fußball-Kreisligisten ist Künstliche Intelligenz (KI) bereits real gelebte Praxis.
