Terrible Warriors Classics - Matrix Awakening

from Terrible Warriors · host Terrible Warriors

The Terrible Warriors are on vacation! We'll return in September with all new campaigns to enjoy and share but for now we're going to go to the wayback machine and bring back some of our favourite campaigns we've ever done. After the success of the first Matrix campaign, run by Steve Saylor, we returned one year later to revisit our characters and push Steve's GM skills to the limit... It's time to see the world for what it truly is, an illusion. In the sequel to our first Matrix Campaign "Matrix Deletion" our crew Justin Ecock, Cassie Chui and Erika Szabo are joined with newly awakened redpill Orie Falconer as they jack into the illusion that is The Matrix. When we last left our crew of the Hovership Athens, they encountered a virus that would kill any Redpill that attempted to leave the Matrix via Hardlines. The Athens crew developed a "silver bullet" to use that virus as a weapon. They have been on the run for over 53 days now living in secret in The Matrix. Machines, Exiles and Redpills alike are after this weapon and will stop at nothing to get it. Will the crew survive even the first episode? Jump down the rabbit hole with us and listen to find out! Portmansheau Portmansheau Sophisticated toilet humor featuring: Andrew: A Jewishy-washy child ninja turned autoneurotic, prematurely old man, who's had it with fictional ghosts triggering his non-fictional anxiety.Puke: A gently misanthropic Army veteran obsessed with sound effects who's had it with political correctness. Brett: A fierce comedy theorist and peddler of critical thinking who's had it with how the dumbing down of America is resulting in terrible customer service.Nick: A gender homogenous homosapien homeowner who homologizes without homologating the show, who's had it with all three of them so much that it's not even clear of he's actually part of the show anymore; even though he's mentioned all the time. Maybe the darkest of all timelines. Definitely not one of the good timelines. Maybe it’s always been a dark timeline, maybe the Hadron collider screwed us over. Science may never know. What we do know is that we live in the void. The void, a place where a chittering mass of void crabs can infest a person suit and win the presidency. The void, a place where we're just clever enough to know that climate change is happening, but not quite clever enough to do anything about it. The void seems terrible and cruel, but it loves you, in its own ironic way. Explicit
