The City of Lost Children (1995): "Here comes Krank with his Emo Philips hair."

from Doom Generation · host The Dames of Doom

In a dark and very French world, mad scientist Krank (Daniel Emilfork) aided by his 6 clones (Dominique Pinon), tiny woman nurse (Mireille Mosse) and brain in a tank, Uncle Irvin (Jean-Louis Trintignant) sneaks into the dreams of children in order to steal them and stop his unhappy aging. While this is going on, at the docks a side show features strong man One (Ron Perlman) and his little brother, Denree (Joseph Lucien). Also, while all THAT is going on, there is a gang of kids who steal things for the Octopus (Genevieve Brunet, Odille Malet) the leader of which is street smart Miette (Judith Vittet) who reluctantly helps One when the Cyclops Cult kidnaps Denree to deliver to...you guessed it, Krank and his nightmare machine.
