The Tunnel of Hope

We are the survivor;  in the future of our inner child, who was the victim. As they look down the tunnel fearing more doom and gloom, we stand there, with a blazing Torch of Hope above our heads, waving it gleefully for them to see that their future is bright.   We cant be both Victim and Survivor. We don't even get to choose. We are the survivor, looking back into our past, like looking down a tunnel at that younger aspect of us, who suffered the trauma event.
