We talk about the Kickstarter, including as diorama photography, we share some of our collection of original art/ sketches, and take a look at some of our favourite covers from the Battle Action Force era as well as a bonus Action Force instalment of InnuenJoe. We will be talking about Total Action Force: The Battle Years, currently in is last stretch on Kickstarter, which closes Friday June 4th. The 176 page hardback book tells the story of Action Force, during the period where the toyline was closely associated with the British comic 'Battle', it tells the story of the people who created the Action Force universe, and features character profiles and toy dioramas. Photographer Brian Hickey has worked with acclaimed toy designers, Boss Fight Studio, designing the packaging for a number of their licensed products, including Bucky O'Hare and Sam & Max. Writer Paddy Lennon writes background lore and character bios for the Vitruvian HACKS series of action figures and the licensed properties for Boss Fight Studio. This is the 3rd book project the pair have worked on – having previously self-published 2 books Total Retaliation is a guide book to the G.I. Joe action figures released in line with the movie, G.I. Joe Retalaition and Total Vitruvian HACKS Volume 1 is a guide book to the Series One Vitruvian HACKS action figures designed and created by Boss Fight Studio. This is the 3rd book project the pair have worked on – having previously self-published 2 books Total Retaliation is a guide book to the G.I. Joe action figures released in line with the movie, G.I. Joe Retaliation and Total Vitruvian HACKS Volume 1 is a guide book to the Series One Vitruvian HACKS action figures designed and created by Boss Fight Studio. Talking Joe is a weekly podcast in which Mark, Tim & Jay and a revolving set of guests co-hosts review and discuss the ever evolving, always entertaining world of G.I. Joe comics. The journey began with Marvel's epic 155 issue run and continues through to present day IDW and Devil's Due eras.
