Victimhood is a Choice
from Trauma Recovery Anonymous · host richiejtierney
Recently, I saw a post on a social media group suggesting: "Mental illness is not a choice, don't try to tell me it is." And I found it quite infuriating. Understandably, mental illness is a state of being, but this was posted on a site for anxiety & depression, making the argument that a mental disorder and a mental illness are one and the same. That is the conditioned lie that has been foisted on the world's population, especially young children, Recently, in a study [the National Library of Medicine] the mental health industry admitted that 39 % of all persons diagnosed with mental disorders were misdiagnosed, that is, a whopping 390 million persons out of 1 billion cases. Can you see 39% or 90% of all cases of mental illness having been misdiagnosed? Not a chance! I doubt if you would find 3.9% of mental illness cases as being misdiagnosed. So, please stop dumping mental disorders under the umbrella of mental illness; it is a crime against mankind and a sin against God. A mental disorder diagnosis is made in the first 15 minutes of the meeting with the client. This means your whole life is summed up in that meeting, where you are presenting yourself at your worst. That, in that short space of time, your therapist is trying to come up with some solution to ease the mental and emotional pain you are suffering, and although you are describing moments in your life, you are diagnosed as though this is a permanent state of being, and your decision to accept this diagnosis is a choice; this is Your Choice! 'You can't blame anyone else for this, you have chosen to accept this diagnosis as your new truth, and in that moment you have just sealed your fate.' A diagnosis is another person's opinion.... nothing more! It only becomes your truth if you choose to embrace it as such. But here is the thing, you know, when we go to see any doctor, we will always describe the worst-case scenario, from our experience. We aren't saying that this is our state of being, all day long, 7 days a week; far from it; we are describing moments when we feel powerless over our moods, but choose to believe this diagnosis, and you are accepting that you have a disorder 24/7. That is you making that decision, that is your choice, and that choice leads to a whole world of brokenness and victimhood. But there is a solution, you get to break free of the bondage of the past, by returning the baggage and details of the past back to its rightful owner, your inner child, in a safe and non-intrusive manner; and you don't have to do this alone. A 2 hour healing event to break free of the bondage of the past, and mend your broken spirit. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DP A 12 step program, a design for daily living to break free of the mental disorder misdiagnosis you have been conditioned to suffer needlessly https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DPM5N1FN you can book your 2 hour healing event here: [email protected]
