Waiting on God? Discerning Faith from Longing

The Queen Bathsheba examines what it means to wait on God versus waiting out of unhealed desire, questioning whether endurance alone proves divine promise. The episode contrasts biblical examples (Joseph, Abraham, Ishmael, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego) to show the difference between covenantal waiting and undiscerned hope, and highlights the need to test our petitions against God’s will. Listeners are invited to cultivate discernment, ask the hard question, "Is this Yours?", and hold outcomes with trust but without presumption.
