Wausau Possum Festival, March 6, 2019

from Daily Positive Action Plans with Big Dave · host Big Dave

This episode is about sewing before you reap. We had the opportunity to go to the 50th annual possum festival in Wausau. the festival occurred on the first weekend of August. The meditation is for the reading of March 6th 2019. I wanted to make that clear first. The second thing I want to make clear is that this town really put on a great show Friday night for the king and queen possum. there were 10 men and 10 women that got up in the stage and talked about what they would do to catch a possum and what they would do to cook opossum. In order for you to understand what that's all about you have to go to the possum festival. What I thought it was amazing is that they were able to overcome hurricane Michael and help out their community and get out there and make sure that their community was well-fed not buy possum but by Spirit of a good strong community. They are the epitome of sowing first and then reaping the rewards. We can all learn something from Wausau in Florida
