I encourage you to begin with a brain dump during which you write continuously for 5 minutes without stopping. A brain dump will empty your mind and leave you feeling a bit lighter. A few questions for your consideration: What did you expect to feel in this new year? What do you really feel:disappointed? depressed? lethargic afraid? worried? exhausted? depleted? something else? How willing are you to start the habit of dumping your thoughts onto paper? What might prevent you from doing so?
