If we hang on to shit, if we suppress and refuse to deal with it, it'll back up and cause problems. Literally - constipation is a problem, and repressed rage is a problem! Both can, and will, cause discomfort, illness, or worse.Today I'll draw some parallels between some medical facts and myths, and the way we live our lives.#1: Holding it won't hurt. MYTH - it can land you in the hospital! Holding on to resentment can, too.#2: Workouts get you going. TRUE - the more you sit around, in a chair or an undesirable situation, the harder things will get.#3: Coffee and castor oil will cure all. MYTH - neither is a great option, and just because something worked for someone else doesn't mean it'll work for you too.#4: Laxatives work immediately. MYTH - it depends on what kind it is, and many times when we try something new it takes some time to see the results we want. What is your level of expectation for your life? What is some shit that you need to let go of in your life?If you want more of the shitty details, this is the article I reference: https://www.webmd.com/digestive-disorders/ss/slideshow-constipation-facts-10If you aren't a part of our private community, correct that now!
