You are not “nice”… you have learned to adapt

I want to ask you something simple, but important: Are you really “nice”… or did you learn to adapt? I’m not talking about being a good person. That’s something beautiful. I’m talking about something more subtle. Saying yes when you actually mean no. Softening what you feel to avoid discomfort. Keeping the peace outside… while something inside you feels off. Because many times, it’s not who we are. It’s who we learned to be to survive
