Ep. 29 - Choosing Wisdom Over What I Felt Like Doing

This episode is a real one. I didn’t feel like going to church, I wasn’t really in the Word last week, and honestly I just wanted to stay home. But I went anyway… and God showed up in ways I didn’t expect. Talking about Proverbs 3, choosing wisdom over comfort, and how sometimes the small decisions matter more than we realize. And naturally, I am all over the place with my thoughts! Enjoy!

Ep. 28 - Maybe God Is Guiding You More Than You Realize

Lately I’ve been feeling a little scattered and asking God for guidance more than ever. In this episode I talk about a small moment that felt like a big reassurance, what I’m learning about the deeper meaning behind Genesis, and how sometimes God may have already shown us the path, we’re just struggling to recognize it.

  8. 30

Ep. 27 - My Life Is Full… So Why Do I Feel Off?

Life has been full lately… but I’d be lying if I said I haven’t been feeling a little unfulfilled and questioning what I’m doing. This episode is just me working through that in real time, plus what I’ve been learning in 1 Corinthians 7.

  9. 29

Ep. 26 - Encouragement in the Middle: Talking Faith, Doubt, and Showing Up with Brandy

Today I sat down with my friend Brandy and we had such a good, honest conversation. We talked about life, how we both came to faith, marriage, her upcoming wedding, growing up together, how our friendship started, church stuff, and encouragement for anyone who’s feeling lost right now.It felt like two friends just catching up and sharing real encouragement. If you need a reminder that you’re not alone in the messy parts of becoming, this one’s for you.

  10. 28

Ep. 25 - When the Doubt Gets Louder: Staying Consistent When You Feel Lost and Not Enough

I just recorded this one feeling pretty lost and overwhelmed. The imposter syndrome was loud, the stage fright was kicking in, and it only ended up being about 20 minutes. It’s messy with some pauses and repeats, but I decided to post it anyway.I talk about the last couple weeks, struggling to stay consistent with the podcast, feeling like I’m not enough, and fighting through the doubt while trying to keep showing up.I share a couple verses that are really helping me right now, especially 2 Corinthians 12:9 (ESV).If you’ve been feeling stuck or doubtful lately, this one’s for you. You’re not alone in the mess.

  11. 27

Ep. 24 - I Know I Can Do Better… So Why Is It So Hard?

Not a perfect episode, just a real one. Talking through what’s been hard and where I know I need to grow.

  12. 26

    Ep. 23 - Maybe I’m Not Stuck… Maybe I’m Being Prepared

This episode is a mix of where I’m at right now, wrestling with purpose, feeling stretched, and starting to see that maybe God is preparing me for something I can’t fully see yet. I also talk about what I’ve been learning in Leviticus and how it connects more than I thought it would. Also, the audio isn’t great on this one (not sure what happened), but I felt like I was supposed to share it anyway.

  13. 25

Ep. 22 - When Helping Others Is Hard (But Still Matters)

This week I’m talking about how helping people through hard seasons isn’t always easy… but it matters more than we realize. Sometimes the things that stretch us the most are actually the things God is using to shape us or lead us somewhere new. And a little reminder that even in the middle of it all, He still shows up in the small, unexpected blessings.

  14. 24

Ep. 21 - Rethinking Biblical Marriage

Today’s episode is my personal perspective on biblical marriage based on scripture, conversations with faithful friends, and what I’ve been learning along the way. I’m not presenting myself as an expert, just sharing what I’ve come to understand so far. My hope is that it encourages anyone curious about faith or marriage to explore the Bible and seek deeper understanding for themselves.

  15. 23

Ep. 20 - Trusting God With the Next Step

This week I’m sharing a quick update after a pretty unexpected week for the podcast. What started as a small step of obedience suddenly grew faster than I expected. Sometimes God multiplies things before we even realize what He’s doing.

  19. 19

Ep. 16 - Valuing the Slow and Steady Seasons

Nothing big happened this week...... and that might actually be the point. Today we’re talking about faith in the middle seasons and why steady growth still counts.

  20. 18

Ep. 15 - Alignment and Joy Over Hustle

This week I’m sharing some life updates, what I’ve been learning in Ecclesiastes, and why I decided to create a 6-week “Faithfully Fit” challenge focused on faith, fitness, and health. It’s a conversation about alignment, daily discipline, and finding joy in the season you’re actually in.

  21. 17

Ep. 14 - Waiting, Trusting, and Showing Up Anyway

Lately I’ve been asking God for direction and coming up with silence. In this episode, I share what that’s been like, how I’m navigating real-life decisions, and what’s helping me stay grounded in faith while I wait.

Ep. 10 - Forgiveness When the Past Comes Back

An honest conversation about forgiveness, discernment, and finding peace without forcing reconciliation.

  26. 12

Ep. 9 - Imposter Syndrome, Visibility, and Becoming

In this episode, I talk honestly about imposter syndrome, fear of judgment, and why I haven’t shared my podcast with many people yet. I reflect on nonlinear growth, confidence without approval, and what it looks like to trust God’s direction while becoming, even when the process feels messy.

  27. 11

Ep. 8 - Seeking Purpose, Direction, and Patience

Let’s be honest, trusting God’s plan isn’t always peaceful or inspiring. Sometimes it’s frustrating, confusing, and feels like work.In this episode, I talk about hard seasons, wrestling with doubt, and what it actually looks like when trusting God doesn’t come naturally. I share real thoughts from a real place, along with Scripture that helps me recalibrate when my patience is thin and my faith feels stretched. This isn’t a highlight reel. Not everything is amazing. Not every day feels faithful. And I’m not interested in pretending otherwise. If you’ve ever loved God but still questioned what He’s doing, this conversation is for you. No fluff. No pretending. Just real faith in real life.As promised scripture that I referred to today, also on my instagram: @becomingandpurposeJeremiah 29:11Proverbs 3:5–6James 1:5Psalm 119:105Psalm 27:14James 1:4Psalm 46:10Luke 16:10Proverbs 16:9Colossians 3:15

  28. 10

Ep. 7 - Friendships, Social Media, and Praying

In this episode I speak about the connections that I have made this week about friendships and the paralytic man whose friends lowered him through the roof so he could be healed by Jesus. Social media and how you can post positive or negative and someone will always have something to say! How I have been practicing prayer and being unashamed to speak out loud. And whatever else is on my mind!

  29. 9

Ep. 6 - Dreaming, Talking to God, and Rambling

I’m changing how I do everything, and this episode reflects that.Come hang out with me while I talk about my dreams, my plans, all the books we have, and how I got into the Word in a deeper, more personal way. This episode sets the tone for where this podcast is going next: more honest conversations, less pressure, and faith that’s lived out in real life. No scripts. Just where I’m at and what God’s been teaching me.

  30. 8

Ep. 5 - Reading Luke and Learning to trust God

In this episode of Becoming & Purpose, I share what reading through the book of Luke taught me about faith, trust, and purpose when clarity feels out of reach. This isn’t a Bible recap or a teaching episode. It’s a reflection on what I noticed, how I understood the text, and how Scripture intersected with my own journey of learning to trust God after years of self-reliance.As I walked through Luke slowly, I began to see a different picture of faithfulness, one that doesn’t require having everything figured out, but instead invites attention, obedience, and trust in the middle of uncertainty. This episode explores what it looks like to grow in faith while still asking questions, seeking direction, and becoming who God is shaping you to be.If you’re navigating questions about purpose, calling, or what faithfulness looks like in everyday life, this episode is an invitation to slow down, stay present, and grow alongside me.

  31. 7

Ep. 4 - Trust Without the Timeline: Isaiah 45–58 and the Quiet Work of God

In this episode of Becoming and Purpose, I reflect on a season of faith that isn’t loud or dramatic, but steady, intentional, and deeply formative.Walking through Isaiah chapters 45–58, this conversation explores what it means to trust God without a timeline, to listen instead of rush, and to stay grounded in seasons that feel unfinished. From God’s declaration of sovereignty, to the tenderness of His reassurance, to the suffering servant of Isaiah 53 and the invitation to live faith out in everyday life, this episode weaves Scripture together with real-life reflection.Rather than offering quick answers or neat resolutions, this episode sits with the quiet work God does beneath the surface, the kind that shapes patience, softens control, and teaches us how to be carried instead of hurried. If you’re in a season of waiting, uncertainty, or steady growth without clear direction, this episode is an invitation to slow down, breathe, and trust God’s pace.

  32. 6

Ep. 2 - Quietness and Trust, What Isaiah Taught Me this Week

In this episode, I share the real moments from my week, the quiet wins, the chaos, the stretching, the grace, and how God met me in every one of them. Then we walk through Isaiah chapters 1–32 together, not academically, but personally. This is a conversation about trust, returning, rest, motherhood, marriage, and letting God speak into the everyday.

  33. 5

Ep. 1 - My Story, My Faith, My Becoming

In this very first episode of Becoming & Purpose, I’m sharing my story, the real, messy, surprising journey that brought me to God, to this podcast, and to a season of intentional becoming. From a Walmart parking lot moment I’ll never forget, to the challenges and growth in my marriage, to learning Scripture in real time, this episode is an honest look at where I’ve been and where God is leading me. If you’re new to faith, curious about purpose, or simply looking for a cozy, honest conversation, you’ll feel right at home here.
