We have a deep need to have a connection with our father. They define us and give us our identity. When we don't have a good father or no father, we look for someone or something to give us that sense of Identity and affirmation. Christ came to connect us to God the Father Almighty so that regardless of our family of origin, God can speak to us in that place of fatherly connection.

Death can come at any time and rip future chapters out of someone's life. When we embrace that reality rather than denying it, it can give us the passion to make better choices in our life right now. Though Christ had to die for us, His resurrection proves we do not have to fear death or the future because we know Who has won the ultimate victory and empowers us today.

Faith was never meant to be lived alone. There are seasons when we need someone else to remind us what’s true, encourage us when we’re discouraged, and walk beside us when life gets difficult. That’s why community matters. When we move beyond simply attending church and begin worshiping, growing, and serving alongside others, church becomes more than a place we go—it becomes a family where real life change can happen.   

“I’ve got this” can be a dangerous way to live. Pride keeps us from asking for help, receiving correction, and admitting when we’re wrong—often until something finally falls apart. God invites us to trade self-reliance for humility, becoming people who are teachable, honest, and willing to say, “I was wrong. I’m sorry. Will you forgive me?” That kind of humility has the power to bring healing where pride has left things broken.

There are moments when all we can do is hang on. The future feels uncertain, our strength runs low, and we're left wondering how we'll make it through. Yet God's love has never depended on our ability to hold everything together. He is the One who pursues us, walks with us, and faithfully carries us through every chapter of our lives.    

Not everything that happens in life is good. Some losses can't be explained, and some pain can't be wrapped up with easy answers. Yet God's faithfulness doesn't depend on our circumstances. He walks with us through every season, patiently weaving hope, healing, and purpose into places we thought would always remain broken.

Freedom starts with resting in Christ, not striving. We're children of promise, not slaves to the law. Stop flexing, start resting. Your acceptance comes from God's grace, not your performance. Rest in His love, His finished work. You're good enough. You're loved. That's true freedom.

One of life’s biggest questions is – what happens to us when we die? For Christ-followers, the Bible tells us we will be resurrected one day as Christ was resurrected. But what kind of resurrection body will we have in the next life? How will it be similar to the body we have now and how will it be different? How does this effect how we live today in our earthly bodies?

God has designed us to be goal-oriented people. And our ultimate goal should be to find His purpose for our life and live it out. But how do we face and fight the forces inside and outside of ourselves that hinder the changes we need to make and the focus to accomplish this goal?

When God created this world there was order until one man, Adam, brought disorder and chaos through one decision to rebel against God. But all is not lost because one man, Jesus Christ, made one decision to surrender to the will of His Father, restoring order and bringing a new kingdom for those who believe. Through His resurrection power, we can overcome our past and make a difference in our broken world.

When we trust in Christ as our Savior, we become resurrection people because we believe God brings dead things back to life. His forgiveness of the wrong things we’ve done gives us a fresh start, a new identity and power to face life’s challenges.
