Boomer Bytes Podcast - Host Agi Anderson

Why Bytes? Originally, a byte was any string of more than one bit that made up a simple piece of information. My goal is to provide a bit of information that supports, helps and inspires baby boomers to live their best life via my Boomer Bytes Podcast. We “Baby Boomers” were born between 1946 and 1964. We are known for our core values of  optimism, team orientation, personal gratification, health and wellness, personal growth, youth (I have a mouthful to say about the pressure of looking 4-Ever young) work, contribution, involvement and love of family. We baby boomers are retiring, downsizing, reorganizing and prioritizing how we live our lives. Many like me, have lost a parent, some both, have lost a long time spouse, (like I did), have remarried (I have), or not, are grandparents, some are now taking care of their own parents. If you’re a sibling, child, grandchild or family member of a baby

Episode 10 - Word of the Year

Life just took different turns this year, priorities shifted and I had to do some revamping. Sometimes life does that and we just have to pick up and move forward. But sometimes stepping back does give you clarity and that's exactly what led me to this year's word because today's episode is Word of the Year. And my word of the year for 2026 is coherent. I will be sharing coherence after 50 years old in this episode today.Last year my word was limitless. I just love being limitless. There's something so special about this word, because to me it means endless potential.  Last year was a year of real evolution for me. Listen in as I share my journey from limitless, and moving towards becoming coherent. My aim, publish a new episode every other week. But bare with me, some times life just gets in the way.

It's a movement pushed by Baby Boomers and Gen Xers. We are defying what aging is, we are evolving with better health and a better mindset. Boomers and GenXers are affirming aging through self-respect, positive body image, and resilience. My aim, publish a new episode every other week. But bare with me, some times life just gets in the way.

Freedom To Live Your Best Life is on the Line - Episode 6

Episode six is freedom to live your best life is on the line.  I don't often talk about politics. I don't share my thoughts on social networks, I keep it to myself.  But  I just feel so moved to share my opinions because there's a lot on the line  with this next election.I have deep concerns that the liberal left is moving towards socialism, some say communism. They want more control,  severe regulations, unreasonable mandates, and they're trying to censor free speech, our thoughts and ideas. And when they start messing with that, it’s very scary. You really don't want to lose your freedom of speech or your capability of expressing yourself. That's the beauty of this country and it should not be taken for granted.Another tragedy, journalists no longer report factual information. They spew a narrative mandated by mega media corporations. They have demonized Donald Trump to be like the anti-Christ. They want people to believe that he's a bad man, that he wants to be a dictator. None of this is true. The mega media want you to despise him. They want you to believe he's a criminal and an existential threat to society. And they're working hard at this. When voters watch CNN, CBS, MSNBC, all left biased channels, their commentary becomes the facts of life and no one is changing the channel. And this is just a little bit scary to me because they're not seeing another narrative. To see if there's another side to the story, because we all know there's two sides  to every story.  So the bogus lawfare that turned bookkeeping misdemeanors into a targeted federal crime and all the false accusations have not worked to prevent Trump from the presidency. I can't help but wonder who is behind the assassination attempts.  There's also two BS impeachments and the J6 incidents, which many, like me believe was orchestrated by corrupt politicians on both sides.  They are doing everything in their power to ruin Trump. They want to annihilate him and they're going to great extremes to do that.  They do not want  Donald Trump to open Pandora's box, because you know what? I believe there are very ugly secrets that nobody wants divulgedI can only hope that my fellow Baby Boomers and GenXers will evaluate the state of our country. Ask yourself why hasn’t the Border Czar shut down the border? Why are millions of illegal immigrants invading our country and getting funds from our government to be here? Why are we sending billions of dollars to the Ukraine, when USA citizens are suffering? Why is inflation so high? Why are groceries and gas so high?  And l my final question; What will happen in the net four years if democrats remain at the helm?My aim, publish a new episode every other week. But bare with me, some times life just gets in the way.

Let us seize the moments as they come, with hearts open and arms outstretched to embrace the possibilities that lie before us. For in the end, it is not the things we did that we regret, but the things we left undone, the words left unspoken, the dreams left unfulfilled.   — Before the Coffee Gets Cold is a 2015 novel by Toshikazu KawaguchiMy aim, publish a new episode every other week. NAR Lawsuit Impacts Boomers Buying and Selling Real Estate

The National Association of Realtors (NAR) has agreed to pay $418 million after reaching a settlement in a lawsuit where a federal jury ruled the organization had conspired to inflate commissions. The settlement has resulted in "total confusion" across the real estate industry. The change that requires brokers to create a written document outlining all the services they will provide for buyers, as well as the cost of each service, will make "a clear difference," but that's the only upside. The sellers will have to "make good with the buyers" in order to help boost the price and sales of their homes, even if it means coming out of their own pockets for the "myriad of things" that could arise." However, the confusion it has raised that is the real problem. The ruling will not prompt home prices to come down, as sellers have "a one-time chance" to make profits on their house. The housing inventory shortage as the reason why "prices have gone up despite everybody singing the blues," with prices continuing to rise due to the imbalance in supply and demand dynamics. The timing was right for me to become an independent broker. I am not subjected to the rules mandated by the National Association of Realtors. I offer an excellent plan. You can  . . .Stash 30-40% more CASH, with closing success, no stress, plus sold quick, when you pick the “For Sale By Owner Advisor” to sell your Florida home. http://ContqctAgiNow.com New episode every other Thursday.
