    I Tried Rejection Therapy...

In this episode of Claire in a Chair, I talk about trying something called rejection therapy and what it taught me about putting myself out there. I share a few moments that surprised me, like reaching out to people I admire and actually getting responses, and realizing that opportunities open up way more often than we expect when we just ask. I also talk about how I used to stop myself from trying things because I assumed the answer would be no, and how that mindset has slowly started to shift. This episode is really about learning not to limit yourself before you even try. It’s about asking the question, sending the message, and going for things even when there’s a chance of rejection. Because most of the time, the worst outcome really isn’t as scary as we think, and you genuinely never know what can happen until you try.Watch Video Episodes Here: https://www.youtube.com/@ClaireInAChairPodcastMy Instagram- @claireinachairpodcastD&A Instagram-@Dwell&AdornD&A Website-https://www.dwellandadorn.comNEW EPISODES EVERY SUNAY AT 9AM!

It's Only Your First Time Living

This is your first time living… so why do we expect ourselves to have it all figured out? In this episode of Claire In A Chair, I talk about why teenagers feel everything so deeply and why that’s not a bad thing. We’re all going through things for the first time: friendships, heartbreak, pressure, identity, all of it, and somehow we’re expected to handle it perfectly when we’re literally still learning how life works. If you’ve ever been told you’re “overdramatic” or “too emotional,” this episode is for you.Watch Video Episodes Here: https://www.youtube.com/@ClaireInAChairPodcastMy instagram-@claireinachairpodcastD&A instagram-@Dwell&AdornDwell&Adorn Website- https://www.dwellandadorn.comNEW EPISODES EVERY SUNAY AT 9AM!

5 Lies We Believe About Friendship

In this episode of Claire in a Chair, I talk about 5 lies I think teenagers believe about friendship. From expecting our friends to be perfect, to thinking friendships have to last forever, to feeling like we owe our friends every detail of our lives, I’m talking about all of it. I also talk about guy/girl friendships, why real friendship actually takes effort, and how we need to stop putting so much pressure on the people we love. This episode honestly felt like a big conversation with a friend, and I hope it makes you feel a little less alone.Dwell & Adorn-https://www.dwellandadorn.com/collections/pillows-blanketsInstagram-@claireinachairpodcastInstagram-@Dwell&AdornNew episodes every Sunday at 9am!

    Pull Up For Your People

Everyone says “it takes a village” but what if the real challenge is becoming one first? In this episode of Claire in a Chair, I talk about what it actually means to show up for the people in your life, especially when it’s inconvenient or not “your thing.” I dive into why friendship isn’t about perfection or constant communication, but about consistency, effort, and choosing to care out loud. This episode is both a reminder and a challenge: if you want a village, you have to be willing to build one. Because the smallest moments showing up, listening, being there are the ones people never forget.New episodes every Sunday at 9am Instagram-@claireinachairpodcast Instagram-@Dwell&Adorn

Living In REEL Life with Leighton Luffburrow

This week on Claire in a Chair, I’m sitting down with my friend Leighton Luffburrow to talk about something we all say we should do, but almost never actually follow through on: taking a real break from social media.Leighton gave up Instagram and Snapchat for 40 days during Lent no scrolling, no posting, nothing. And we get into what that was actually like. Not just the highlight version, but the boredom, the feeling left out, the unexpected positives, and what changed for her because of it.We talk about screen time, friendships, mindset, and what happened when she finally redownloaded everything. Maybe The Grass Really Is Greener

In this episode of Claire in a Chair, I talk about the idea that the grass isn’t always greener on the other side, but sometimes it actually is. I share a conversation I had with my mom about how every stage of life can feel like the best one until you step into something new. This episode is all about how fear can keep us stuck in what’s comfortable, why I think growth usually happens outside of our comfort zone, and how the only way to find out if the grass is greener is to be brave enough to walk over and see.Sponsored by Dwell & Adorn!Instagram-@claireinachairpodcastWebsite-https://sites.google.com/view/claireinachair/episode-83NEW EPISODES EVERY SUNDAY AT 9AM

    That's An Airball

You know when you say something you’re convinced is funny and it just… hangs there? Total silence. Airball. In this episode, I’m talking about what it actually means to figure out your sense of humor, not the polished, socially approved version, but the one that’s genuinely yours. Why do we fake-laugh? Why do we edit our jokes depending on who we’re with? And when did we start curating our personalities down to our laugh? I’m sharing stories about jokes that bombed, moments that surprised me, and how I’m learning to trust what actually makes me laugh instead of what gets the reaction. Because your laugh is kind of a fingerprint, it says more about you than you think, and maybe the airballs are the most honest part. Pull up a chair. In this episode, I talk about something we don’t do enough, giving ourselves credit. After asking you on Instagram what you were most proud of yourself for in 2025, I was reminded how much growth often goes unnoticed. From good grades and new friendships to growing in faith and simply making it through hard seasons, this episode is about recognizing how far you’ve come. I reflect on toxic motivation, the pressure of “New Year, New Me,” and why constantly focusing on what we need to change can make us forget what we’ve already done. Lately I’ve been feeling like my whole life is one giant loading screen — always waiting for the next test grade, the next Friday, the next weekend, the next big milestone. These first few days of break I literally couldn’t sit still… like Rapunzel-level “When will my life begin?” energy mixed with Alabama’s “I rush and rush till life’s no fun.” In this episode, I talk about what it feels like to be impatient all the time, how we live life constantly in the future, and why waiting feels so uncomfortable. And more importantly, how to actually thrive in the waiting instead of panicking in it. "You're Really Close"

So my friend Collin says this thing all the time — “You’re really close.” He uses it when someone says something random or totally not funny… and it kinda just became a thing. Then I started saying it. Then my friend Jordan did. Then our whole group. And that’s when I realized — it’s like this domino effect. The stuff our friends say, the way they act, even their energy… it all rubs off on us. We’re still our own person, but the people we hang out with totally shape who we become. In this episode, I’m talking about why that happens (there’s actually science behind it), what it means to be “a living mosaic” of everyone you know, and how choosing your circle can literally change who you grow into.Instagram-@claireinachairpodcastWebsite-https://sites.google.com/view/claireinachair/episode-66NEW EPISODES EVERY SUNDAY AT 9AM

We talk about how they’ve stayed close, supported each other, and found creative ways to stay connected. It’s a heartwarming reminder that when it comes to real friendship, distance doesn’t stand a chance. The Last Thing We Name

In this episode, I reflect on the quiet power behind the quote: “And if I asked you to name all the things you love, how long would it take to name yourself?” I share three honest truths about why self-love feels so hard, how we teach others to treat us, and why naming yourself is a practice—not a moment. This is a gentle reminder that you deserve to be on your own list!Instagram-@claireinachairpodcastWebsite-https://sites.google.com/view/claireinachair/episode-55NEW EPISODES EVERY SUNDAY AT 9AM

The Belief That Built Me (Thank You Dad)

In this week’s episode of Claire in a Chair, I’m getting a little more personal as I reflect on Father’s Day—not just in the traditional sense, but as a way to honor anyone who shows up for us with love, support, and belief. I share a few of the biggest lessons my dad has taught me—like how actions speak louder than words, the importance of truly listening, and the quiet power of believing in someone—and how those lessons have shaped who I am and even made this podcast possible. Whether it’s your dad, a mentor, or someone else entirely, this episode is a thank-you to the people who stand beside us, often in the background, helping us become who we’re meant to be.Instagram-@claireinachairpodcastWebsite-https://sites.google.com/view/claireinachair/episode-46NEW EPISODES EVERY SUNDAY AT 9AM
