In this video, we also discuss the Remember the Time short film that accompanied the single, which premiered on FOX in February 1992. Directed by John Singleton, the then-24-year-old filmmaker behind *Boyz n the Hood*, the film was a stylized portrayal of ancient Egypt featuring an all-Black cast, including Eddie Murphy, Iman, and Magic Johnson.
