    Watering your Desert

Send us Fan Mail"Imagine for a moment a woman named Hagar. She’s been cast out into the Desert of Beersheba, carrying only a small skin of water and her young son, Ishmael. Eventually, the water runs out. The sun is relentless, the sand is burning, and she is completely empty—emotionally and physically. She’s so certain they’re going to die that she places her son under a bush because she can't bear to watch him fade away. She sits a distance off and just sobs. In that moment, Hagar isn’t just in a literal desert; she’s in a spiritual one. She feels abandoned by everyone she once knew, and she believes even God has stopped watchingBut then, the Bible tells us something incredible. God hears the cry of the boy, and He speaks to Hagar. He doesn't just promise her a future; the text says He opened her eyes, and right there—in the same spot where she had been weeping in despair—she saw a well of water. The well didn't just 'appear' by magic in that second. Most scholars believe the well was already there. Hagar was just too blinded by her pain and the 'dryness' of her situation to see the provision that was standing right next to her. That is the heart of what we’re talking about today. You might feel like you’re wandering aimlessly, but God is about to open your eyes to the 'well' He has already prepared in your wilderness.""Welcome back to Come Bible with Ana. Last week, we talked about 'keeping the fire going'—that high-energy, passionate devotion. But what happens when the fire feels like it’s turned into scorching heat? Today, we are shifting from the mountain top to the sand. We’re talking about walking through the desert.""A dry season isn't a sign of failure; it’s often a sign of a new work God is doing. If you feel empty, lonely, or like God is silent, this episode is for you."Thank you for your support. I thank you for listening.  I just want to say, none of this would be possible without God. Go-Reliant

Send us Fan MailWelcome back, everyone, to the Come Bible with Ana podcast. I’m so happy you’re here with me today.Let’s be real for a second—we live in a world that praises the "self-made" person. We’re taught to "trust our gut," "hustle harder," and that if we want something done right, we’ve got to do it ourselves. But honestly? That weight is heavy. I’ve felt it, and I bet you have too. Today, we’re talking about laying that burden down. We’re looking at what it means to be God-reliant instead of self-reliant according to the Word.Bible:Jeremiah 17:5John 15:5Proverbs 3:5-62 Corinthians 12:9Thank you for your support. Your Faith is Enough

Send us Fan Mail Hi everyone, and welcome back to Come Bible with Ana. I am so glad you’re here today. This podcast is all about coming as you are—perfectly imperfect—to grow deeper in the Word. Today, we’re talking about a heavy but beautiful topic: what happens when someone you love doesn’t believe in miracles, but you do? Can your faith be enough for both of you? The short answer from the Bible is a resounding yes.[Segment 1: The Friends Who Carried the Mat]Let’s look at one of the most powerful "proxy faith" stories in the Bible. In Luke 5:17-26, we see a paralyzed man who couldn’t get to Jesus on his own. Maybe he was tired, maybe he was discouraged, or maybe he didn’t even believe a miracle was possible for him anymore. But he had four friends who did believe. They carried him on a mat, and when they couldn’t get through the door, they literally tore a hole in the roof to lower him down to Jesus. The Bible says something incredible in verse 20: "When Jesus saw their faith, he said, ‘Friend, your sins are forgiven’". Jesus didn’t wait for the man on the mat to give a speech about his belief. He responded to the faith of the ones carrying him. If you are "carrying" someone in prayer right now—someone who is skeptical, hurt, or just doesn't have the strength to believe—know that Jesus sees your faith on their behalf.Thank you for your support. I thank you for listening.  I just want to say, none of this would be possible without God. So until next time, keep Bibling, keep spreading God's word and stand in the gap for those who may not believe in miracles! Pour out to Him and lay it at His feet. Open your ears, your hearts and your minds, and put God first and see him work in everything, give God your heart, soul and life. Be disciplined in God and dig deeper in God's word. Send us Fan MailWelcome to our latest podcast episode, where we dive into the transformative theme of "Renovation" as a God-given calling for the year. In our fast-paced world, we often seek quick fixes and superficial changes, but this year, we are called to embrace a deeper process of renewal—a complete transformation, both internal and external. As we embark on this journey, we'll explore the powerful concept of renovation not merely as a series of repairs but as a profound change for the better. Nehemiah's journey, marked by prayer, unity, and resilience, serves as a testament to the power of divine calling and communal effort. We'll also discuss how true renovation begins in the heart and mind, reminding us to clear away old habits and outdated mindsets to make room for God's new work in our lives. The weight of the Unspoken

Send us Fan MailWelcome back. Today, we’re going into a place many of us avoid because it’s loud, it’s messy, and it feels "un-Christian." We’re talking about the white-hot anger of watching a mother battle cancer. It is a horrific, gut-wrenching pain to see the woman who was your protector—your first hero—slowly fade or suffer. If you are angry today, I want you to know: that’s not a lack of faith. It’s a testament to how much you love her.Segment 1: The Horror of the WatchWatching someone you love suffer is a unique kind of torture. You watch the treatments—the chemo, the radiation, the surgeries—that sometimes feel as aggressive as the disease itself. You see her lose her strength, her hair, and her "normalcy," and it feels like the world is being robbed. This isn't just "sad." It's infuriating. It feels like a "fiery ordeal" that shouldn't be happening. It's hard to articulate the anger that surges through me when I think about my mother's cancer. Watching her suffer is gut-wrenching, and the frustration of being unable to alleviate her pain is overwhelming. Cancer never just stays in one body; it invades the whole house. It's not just her battle; it's our family's battle.Bible:Psalm 6:2-3Psalm 30:52 Corinthians 12:92 Corinthians 4:16-18Psalms 46:1Isaiah 41:10Jeremiah 29:11Revelation 21:4Thank you for your support. Faith in the Pages

Send us Fan MailFaith is a central theme in the Bible, and it has the power to transform our lives. Hebrews 11:1 defines faith as “the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” This passage reminds us that faith is not just about belief, but also about trust and conviction in the unseen. Having faith can give us the courage to face challenges head-on and to trust in God’s higher plan, even when our path seems unclear.Faith encourages us to step forward with confidence, knowing that we are supported by a greater force. It invites us to embrace uncertainty with an open heart and to remain steadfast in our aspirations, no matter the obstacles we encounter.Consider the story of Abraham, who embarked on a journey to an unknown land simply because he trusted in God's promise. His unwavering faith serves as a testament to the strength and resilience that faith can instill in us. It encourages us to pursue our own journeys with the same dedication and hope, regardless of how daunting they may seem.BibleHebrews 11Genesis Thank you for your support. Psalms 118:24

Send us Fan MailWelcome to another episode of "Living Inspired," where we explore the depths of spiritual wisdom and uncover how ancient texts can guide us in our modern lives. Today, we'll be diving into a well-known verse from the Book of Psalms: "This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." (Psalms 118:24)Understanding the ContextBefore we explore the implications of this verse, let's delve into its context. Psalms 118 is a chapter that celebrates God’s enduring love and faithfulness. It is often associated with themes of victory, deliverance, and gratitude. Understanding this background helps us appreciate the joy and hope embedded in the verse.Psalms 118 is traditionally attributed to King David, and it is part of the Hallel, a series of psalms sung during Jewish festivals. This particular chapter is a song of thanksgiving, reflecting a deep sense of trust in divine providence. The psalmist recounts moments of distress and deliverance, emphasizing that God's steadfast love endures forever. The verse “This is the day the LORD has made” is not just a call to rejoice but also gives us acknowledgment of divine intervention in the everyday. It serves as a reminder that each day is crafted with purpose and intention, inviting us to partake in its unfolding with a heart full of gratitude.By situating our daily experiences within the framework of this psalm, we are encouraged to see our own lives as part of a larger tapestry of grace and resilience. Whether in times of personal triumph or through collective challenges, this verse urges us to pause, reflect, and celebrate the gift of the present moment with a spirit of thankfulness and joy. It’s fascinating to see how this ancient text resonates with the universal human experience. Let's consider the multifaceted ways this verse can be applied in our lives today.Firstly, embracing this verse invites us to recognize the sacredness of the ordinary. Each morning, as we awake, we are given a blank canvas—a fresh day filled with endless possibilities. Viewing our routine tasks and interactions through the lens of Psalms 118:24 transforms them into opportunities for joy and gratitude.Additionally, in a world often fraught with uncertainty, this verse provides a foundation of stability and hope. It reassures us that, despite life's unpredictability, there is a divine plan at work, offering comfort and direction. This perspective can be particularly grounding during times of personal or communal upheaval. Moreover, the communal aspect of rejoicing is a powerful reminder of our interconnectedness. In celebrating the day together, we foster a sense of unity and shared purpose. Whether through religious gatherings, community events, or simple family meals, these shared moments strengthen our bonds and enrich our lives.Ultimately, Psalms 118:24 beckons us to live with intentionality and mindfulness. By acknowledging the divine craftsmanship in each day, we are inspired to approach life with a heightened awareness of its beauty and potential. As we integrate this wisdom into our daily routines, we can cultivate a life filled with more joy, resilience, and gratitude.Bible 118Thank you for your support. You of Little Faith

Send us Fan MailTo begin, I want to acknowledge the immense tragedies our world has faced over the past few weeks. I have not forgotten these events and will soon share the insights that God has imparted to me in a future episode. However, today I need to focus on something that feels much more personal and immediate to me.Today we will explore the deep connections between faith, trust, and the challenges we face in life. Today, we’re diving into a topic that resonates with many of us—what happens when we are thrust into situations beyond our control? How do we hold onto our faith and trust that God is working things out for our good?In this episode, we're taking a closer look at how faith acts as a guiding light during life’s most turbulent times. It's not uncommon to find ourselves in circumstances where we feel overwhelmed and powerless. During such moments, the challenge becomes not only maintaining our faith but also deepening it, trusting that God has a plan, even when we can't see the path ahead.Faith, at its core, is the steadfast belief that there is a greater force at work, orchestrating events in our lives for a purpose we may not yet understand. It’s about finding peace amidst chaos, and courage when faced with uncertainty. This belief is not passive; it requires active engagement through prayer, reflection, and community support.Matthew Proverbs 2 TimothyPhilippiansJeremiahThank you for your support. Trust, Believe, Faith

Send us Fan MailJust as the Israelites wandered through the wilderness, feeling lost and needing to place their trust in God, believing that He would guide them and having faith in His promises, we often find ourselves navigating our own deserts of uncertainty and doubt. In these moments, it is crucial to hold on to hope and trust that we are never truly alone. Much like the Israelites, we are on a journey, a path that may not always be clear, but one that is filled with lessons and growth. By embracing the challenges and keeping our faith steadfast, we can find strength and resilience to move forward. It is through these experiences that we learn the value of patience, perseverance, and the unwavering belief in a brighter tomorrow.ExodusJeremiah 29:11Provers 3:5-6Thank you for your support. Accountability

Send us Fan MailDo you find yourself overwhelmed by everything happening in the world, easily believing what you see and hear, yet hesitant to do your own research and learn more?I am want to encourage you to conduct your own research and refrain from simply accepting what the media presents. Before forming opinions or expressing frustrations, delve into the subject matter yourself. This also applies to understanding the Bible. Just because you hear or see something doesn't mean you should automatically believe it; take the initiative to investigate and seek guidance from God for clarity. Proverbs 30:5, John 8:32, James 1:18There are numerous individuals claiming to follow Christ who are distorting the truth and misrepresenting God's message. In a world brimming with information, it's crucial to distinguish between genuine teachings and distorted truths, especially when it comes to spiritual beliefs. Many individuals claim to represent Christ while spreading false interpretations of His teachings. Recognizing and addressing these misconceptions is crucial for preserving integrity of your faith and spiritual journey. Even Satan is familiar with God's word, Matthew 4:6 so it’s essential to return to God and His teachings to receive discernment. I encourage you to question what I share, bringing it back to God for confirmation, as I am human and my understanding may not always be correct. Ultimately, it is our responsibility to seek God for genuine understanding and knowledge, for He is the one true God who can provide wisdom and insight. Thank you for your support. Overcoming Selfishness: A Biblical Perspective

Send us Fan MailSelfishness permeates our culture with constant messaging to "live your best life" and prioritize personal fulfillment above all else. But what happens when these cultural values directly conflict with Christ's call to selflessness? This thought-provoking episode dives deep into what the Bible actually teaches about putting ourselves first - and the surprising consequences that follow. Through careful examination of key scriptures like Philippians 2:3, James 3:16, and Mark 10:45, we uncover God's perspective on selfishness as more than just a personality flaw but as a spiritual issue with serious ramifications. The Bible consistently warns that selfish behavior leads to damaged relationships, isolation, poor reputation, and most importantly, an impaired walk with Christ. Jesus demonstrated the ultimate selfless love by sacrificing everything for us. As His followers and physical representatives on earth, we're called to mirror this sacrificial love - placing others' needs above our own despite our natural tendencies toward self-centeredness. The transformation isn't instant, but through prayer, scripture, and yielding to the Holy Spirit, we can gradually overcome selfish tendencies. While we'll never achieve perfection in this life, we can continually grow more Christlike with each intentional choice to serve rather than be served. What would change in your life if you began intentionally fighting against selfishness? How might your relationships, reputation, and spiritual life transform if you put others first? Share this episode with someone who might benefit from this message, and continue seeking God through prayer and His Word.BibleMark 10:45Matthew 22:39Galatians 6:7Luke 10:25-37James 3:16Proverbs 18:1John 15:12-13John 3:16-17Matthew 19:21-22Galatians 5:22-23Psalm 119:36Thank you for your support.
