125. From Tarot & Akashic Records to Jesus Christ | Deconstructing New Age Beliefs
I used to believe all religions were basically pointing to the same thing, and I built a business around New Age spirituality: oracle card readings, Akashic Records sessions, Reiki certification, tarot, astrology, and the whole “spiritual awakening” mindset. It felt like healing. It felt like light. It even looked like it “worked” at times. But when I finally started asking honest questions about truth, Scripture, and the real Jesus of the Bible, I began getting answers I could not ignore. We walk through the messy middle of change: the moment I can pinpoint as the beginning (finding out I was pregnant in June 2023), the severe sickness that forced me to step back, and the surprising resistance I felt toward marketing, clients, and being public facing. I also share what it was like to pour myself into finishing an oracle deck postpartum while my priorities were radically shifting underneath me, and how that inner change showed up in everything I was creating. Then the story turns toward clarity and conviction. I find a church online that feels like sanity in an insane world, start volunteering, and eventually get baptized. I also wrestle with a question many people ask when leaving the New Age: can divination be “good” if your intentions are good? The more I seek, the more direct the Bible becomes, and the more I understand why spiritual freedom is not found in self worship but in Jesus Christ. If you are deconstructing New Age beliefs, questioning tarot culture, or just curious whether Christianity is actually true, listen through to the end and sit with the invitation. 123. All Religions Are NOT True (And Why That Matters More Than You Think)
“All religions are true” sounds like the kindest possible belief until you test it against reality. We sit with the uncomfortable parts of faith and ask a simple question with massive consequences: can truth be personal if different belief systems directly contradict each other about God, Jesus, sin, judgment, heaven, hell, and salvation? We talk through why Christians feel compelled to evangelize, not as a power move, but as an act of love that refuses to cheer someone toward spiritual ruin. Using everyday analogies like a cliff on the highway or a financial scam, we unpack why “affirming your truth” can become avoidance, and why Scripture treats truth as objective rather than customizable. We also look at universalism, the modern obsession with inclusion, and the cultural push to treat discomfort as harm. Then we go deeper into New Age spirituality and manifestation. If manifestation “works,” what does that actually prove and who is responding? We explore the idea that God is sovereign, not on-demand, and why spiritual experiences alone are a poor test for biblical truth. We close with what Jesus says about judgment, why the gospel is not works-based, and why the narrow gate is both challenging and life-giving.If you’ve felt torn between being loving and being honest, this conversation is for you. 122. Trust Over Control: Relearning Prayer After the New Age
If you’ve ever tried to “manifest” your way into safety, money, or control, you know the crash that comes when life refuses to cooperate. I’m Danielle Venables, and I’m unpacking a tension I’ve wrestled with deeply since leaving the New Age: how do we pray boldly without turning God into a vending machine? We talk about why manifestation culture trains us to treat spiritual power as a tool for comfort and self-serving desire, and why following Jesus flips that script into humility, trust, and surrender to God’s will. I walk through Matthew 7:7-11 (ask, seek, knock) and explain how pulling verses out of context can lead to a prosperity gospel mindset that sounds biblical but misses the heart of the gospel. Then we get practical with prayer. Psalm 55:22 and Philippians 4:6-7 show God inviting us to bring every burden, every request, and every fear with thanksgiving, not anxiety. James 4:2-3 challenges our motives and helps us spot when we’re asking for something that would actually pull us away from God.Finally, we sit with Jesus in Gethsemane and His honest prayer: “May this cup be taken from me, yet not as I will, but as you will.” That is the roadmap for asking bravely, suffering faithfully, and trusting God’s promises even when the answer is not what we wanted. If this helped you, subscribe, share it with someone leaving the New Age, and leave a review so more people can find it.Send us Fan Mail www.seedsoflightoracle.com/ipw Want to add a new passive income stream to your business that aligns with your values of health, family, and conscious wealth? 121. I Wanted to Change My Husband… God Changed Me Instead
Marriage can feel like the first place pressure shows up when we start taking faith seriously. When I zoom out and remember marriage as God’s design from Genesis, a lot of the confusion clears: the fight is bigger than a bad week or an awkward disagreement. It’s also why “leave him” advice can sound tempting while quietly making everything worse.I share what I’m learning in my church life groups and why Christian community changes the kind of counsel we give and receive. Then I get personal about the strain that can come with a later-in-life conversion, especially when your husband isn’t on the same spiritual path. If you’ve ever felt that pull to preach, correct, or pressure, I unpack a different way to show up: 1 Peter 3 as a steady anchor, respectful conduct as a living testimony, and a posture that honors your spouse while still loving Jesus out loud. You’ll hear the four-part prayer rhythm I use to pray for my husband’s salvation without trying to control the outcome: surrendering him to God, asking for a softened heart, inviting God to put other believers in his path, and focusing on my own sanctification. I also walk through why praying Scripture like Proverbs 31 and Ephesians 5 gives real direction for Christian marriage, respect, and growth. If this encourages you, subscribe, share it with a friend who’s carrying the same burden, and leave a review so more women can find it. 120. Jesus Rose from the Dead: Proof, Prophecy & Why Easter Matters
If you’ve ever wondered why Christians treat Easter like the hinge point of history, it comes down to one claim that can’t be watered down: Jesus Christ literally rose from the dead. I’m Danielle Venables, and I’m walking you through why the resurrection is not a poetic metaphor, not a “spiritual truth,” and not something we can casually set aside while keeping the label of Christianity. If Jesus didn’t rise, the faith collapses. If He did, the cross is not a defeat, it’s a victory over sin and death. We dig into the biblical case with clear Scripture, including 1 Corinthians 15 and Romans 1, then trace how Jesus predicted His resurrection again and again in the Gospels. From there, we connect the dots to fulfilled prophecy and patterns that point forward to Easter, including Psalm 16, Isaiah 53, and the “third day” sign Jesus links to Jonah. This isn’t presented as a late invention, but as a message embedded in the earliest Christian proclamation. Then we tackle the questions people actually ask: What about the empty tomb? What about claims of hallucination? What about the counter-argument that the disciples stole the body? We look at why even opposing explanations still admit the tomb was empty, and why the Gospels naming women as the first witnesses is a credibility marker in that culture, not a marketing strategy. We also talk about the post-resurrection appearances and the transformed disciples, including Paul the former persecutor, and why that kind of change demands an explanation. If this strengthens your faith or sparks new questions, subscribe so you don’t miss what’s next, share this with a friend who’s skeptical, and leave a review so more people can find the conversation. 119. Good Friday Reminds Us We Cannot Earn Grace
Good Friday is not a vague spiritual metaphor, it’s a confrontation with the thing we keep trying to outrun: we cannot fix ourselves by willpower, self-talk, or perfectionism. I share why “give yourself grace” can feel strangely unsatisfying when you’re still carrying real guilt, and why grace from Jesus lands with a different kind of weight. When grace is a gift that cost something, it doesn’t feel like enabling. It feels like rescue. We walk through the crucifixion accounts with an eye for meaning and evidence, connecting the crown of thorns back to Genesis, the divided garments back to Psalm 22, and the piercing and unbroken bones back to Old Testament prophecy. I also touch on Christian apologetics, including how details in the Gospels align with historical context and why the Bible’s cross-references matter if you’ve ever doubted Scripture or come from New Age beliefs. Then we tackle a modern myth that spikes every Easter: claims that the Bible erases women or hides a “Mary Magdalene” storyline. The Gospels repeatedly name women as present at the cross and burial, which is exactly the kind of detail you wouldn’t invent to gain power in the first century. We also talk about later Gnostic texts and why they read more like fan fiction than firsthand testimony. If you’ve been curious about Jesus, skeptical about the Bible, or tired of trying to be your own savior, this conversation is for you. 118. Jesus Is Not Netflix And Tarot Is Not A Tool
Tarot as a “tool.” Astrology as “just guidance.” Worshiping other gods as long as God stays at the top. We keep hearing versions of the same promise: you can blend New Age spirituality with Christian faith and still be fine. We don’t buy it, and more importantly, Scripture doesn’t either. We slow down and walk through the Bible passages people quote to defend spiritual coexistence, then we put them back in context. That includes Psalm 82, the commandment about having no other gods, and the difference between acknowledging spiritual reality and being authorized to seek spiritual direction from it. We also go straight to the clear warnings many of us wish were more flexible: Deuteronomy 18 on divination and sorcery, Leviticus 19 on not seeking mediums, and Isaiah 47’s blunt words on astrologers. Along the way, we draw a clean line between astronomy as observing God’s creation and astrology as an identity and guidance system. We also talk about why false worship is not “neutral energy,” why the Bible connects idols and pagan sacrifice to demonic powers, and why deception often feels like light. Then we tackle the modern slogan “I follow Christ, not the Bible” and test it against Jesus’ own teaching on fulfilling the law, grace, and obedience. If you’re deconstructing New Age beliefs, leaving tarot behind, or trying to understand what biblical discernment really looks like, this conversation is for you.If this helped you, subscribe for more, share it with someone who’s on the fence, and leave a review so more people can find it. 117. Why I Left The New Age
I didn’t leave the New Age because it stopped being popular, I left because I couldn’t ignore what it was producing in me. I had built a business and identity around manifestation, alignment, and “trusting the universe,” and walking away meant losing money, credibility, and the brand I spent years building. From the outside, a New Age to Jesus story can look like a sudden switch, but the internal process is messy, costly, and deeply personal.I unpack the turning points that made me question everything: the way New Age talks about surrender while quietly training you to control outcomes, the strange emptiness that can follow even when manifestation “works,” and why chasing constant upgrades can turn into always seeking and never arriving. I also share how my gratitude changed after giving my life to Jesus and how purpose started to look less like chasing the next win and more like showing up as His hands and feet in ordinary life. Then we go into the real world fruit. I break down the dark side of “act as if” and “leap before you’re ready,” especially in abundance and quantum leap culture, where impulsive spending and poor stewardship can get packaged as faith. Finally, I talk about the most painful red flag: New Age spirituality couldn’t save my marriage, and it forced me to ask whether a self focused spiritual framework can ever produce sacrificial covenantal love. If you’re searching for spiritual discernment, biblical truth, and clarity on the New Age to Christianity pipeline, this conversation is for you.If this resonated, subscribe, share it with a friend who’s questioning New Age beliefs, and leave a review telling me what part hit you hardest.Send us Fan Mail www.seedsoflightoracle.com/ipw Want to add a new passive income stream to your business that aligns with your values of health, family, and conscious wealth? 116. Popular New Age Beliefs vs The Bible | PART 2
Manifestation. Spirit guides. Reincarnation. “Low vibration” sin. These ideas don’t just shape a spiritual aesthetic, they shape how we think reality works, who holds authority, and what we do when life hurts. I’m Danielle Venables, and this is part two of my New Age vs the Bible series, where I lay out the specific beliefs I used to live by and contrast them with what I now believe after giving my life to Jesus. We dig into why the law of attraction and manifestation can feel so convincing, and why I’ve come to see them as an attempt to take the driver’s seat from God. I connect that to Scripture like James 4:13–15 and the daily practice of surrender: asking boldly, but still meaning “God, let Your will be done.” We also wrestle with the question people rarely ask out loud: if certain New Age practices are wrong, why do they sometimes “work”? That leads into discernment, spiritual warfare, and why the Bible repeatedly warns against practices like divination, mediumship, and channeling. From there we talk about morality and truth. If sin is only an energetic imbalance, who gets to define good and evil? I contrast the “low vibration” framing with verses like Romans 3:23 and Romans 6:23, then move into reincarnation and why Hebrews 9:27 challenged one of my deepest assumptions. We also unpack spirit guides and “higher beings,” and why I now believe some guidance that feels loving can still be spiritually deceptive. Finally, we close with Jesus: His love is real and relational, but it isn’t a blank check that affirms everything. If you’re questioning New Age spirituality, exploring Christianity, or trying to understand the New Age to Jesus pipeline, listen through and then join the conversation. 115. Popular New Age Beliefs vs The Bible
“All paths lead to God” sounds loving and open minded, but I don’t think it’s harmless. I’m Danielle Venables, and I’m sharing why I believe some of the most popular New Age beliefs are not just different options for spirituality but counterfeits that can slowly pull us away from Jesus while still feeling bright, moral, and empowering.I walk through five big ideas I once believed myself: every religion leads to the same destination, Jesus as an enlightened teacher or ascended master, the “you are divine” and co-creator message, the claim that good and evil are illusions, and the assumption that anything labeled light work must be good. Along the way I contrast those beliefs with Scripture like John 14:6, John 1:1, Isaiah 43:10, Genesis 3:5, Isaiah 5:20, and 2 Corinthians 11:14, and I explain why “it worked for me” isn’t the same thing as “it’s from God.”If you’ve experimented with tarot, divination, Akashic Records, energy healing, or channeled spiritual teaching and you’re wrestling with why it felt helpful, you’re not alone. I also share how my perspective shifted, why discernment matters, and why I think real peace looks different when it’s grounded in the living God rather than self as the final authority. I’m also teeing up a part two, because there’s more to unpack.Listen, share this with someone who’s spiritually curious, and if it raises questions for you, reach out. 114. Grief Before Debate: Christian Perspective After Canadian School Shooting
A small northern BC town is shattered by a school shooting, and the noise machine spins up fast. Before the takes and the threads, we slow down to honor the lives lost, sit with our own shock, and ask a harder question: what actually helps a grieving community right now? From my seat inside the response at work, I share how “action mode” can hide unprocessed pain, why early political battles rarely serve the wounded, and what love looks like when the cameras leave. We walk through the pressure points exploding online—gun rights in Canada, school policies around gender and identity, and the instinct to use tragedy to score points. I don’t dodge the hard topics or the need for change. Instead, I offer a framework for timing and tone: grieve first, then advocate wisely. That means truth without hate, clarity without contempt, and courage anchored in compassion. We talk practical, too: how to support families with meals, check-ins, childcare, and donations; how to show up for students who are scared; and how to move beyond social media into real influence. We also name what’s been building: a youth mental health crisis fueled by screens, isolation, and broken systems. Real solutions live in consistent presence, local counseling access, church and community rhythms, and parents reclaiming digital boundaries. If you’re ready to work for change, we map the right channels—MLAs, MPs, school boards, and legislative petitions—so energy turns into outcomes, not outrage. Listen to ground yourself, gather your people, and choose compassion over performance. If this resonates, share it with a friend who’s hurting, subscribe for future conversations, and leave a review to help more neighbors find a path toward healing.Send us Fan Mail Want to add a new passive income stream to your business that aligns with your values of health, family, and conscious wealth? 113. Overcoming Religious Shame, Healing From Church Hurt, and Finding Your Way Back to Jesus
Ever been told to obey first and feel later? I grew up equating faith with performance, penance, and shame—and it kept me far from the church. Today we get honest about church hurt, the weight it puts on our hearts, and the quiet ways it can block a real relationship with Jesus. This is a story about moving from condemnation to conviction, from checking boxes to living in grace, and from isolation to a community that actually helps you heal.We revisit a striking childhood memory of face-to-face confession and the pressure to produce the “right” sins, then contrast that with what Scripture shows: a God who seeks us, leaves the ninety-nine for the one, and calls us into a personal relationship. We explore repentance as a heart posture, not a transaction; the gentle, persistent work of the Holy Spirit in sanctification; and how inner transformation naturally reshapes habits—like my slow shift away from drinking—not from fear, but from desire to draw closer to God.Along the way, we name the difference between legalism and love, offer practical first steps for those wary of returning to church, and share what a healthy, Bible-centered community looks like: honest, humble, and grounded in grace and truth. If past experiences have made you hide, there’s room to breathe here—and a seat at the table with your name on it. 112. You Don’t Need All the Answers to Take the First Step (from New Age to Jesus)
Perfection looks impressive online, but it can quietly starve your soul. I share why the chase for “arrival”—in faith, business, and identity—is often pride wearing a halo, and how Scripture reframed my need to look finished. Walking through Exodus, I found courage in Moses’ reluctance and God’s patience with imperfect people who still say yes. That lens changed my rhythm: not a sprint to polish myself, but a steady relationship where Jesus refines me as I go.I open up about the messy middle—sitting with tension around my oracle deck, questions about yoga, and the fear of being judged by both New Age friends and Christian critics. Instead of flipping a public switch from “before” to “after,” I’m documenting the in-between so seekers can watch conviction mature without shame. We talk through sanctification as a lived process, not a performance; how real study (textual history, manuscript evidence, Old–New Testament coherence) can strengthen faith; and why an honest question can be an act of worship when it draws you closer to truth. If you’re Jesus-curious but afraid of what you might lose, take one small step. Pray a simple prayer—Jesus, show me who You are—and see what unfolds. You don’t need every answer to begin. Start with relationship, let clarity come, and watch what falls away when a better love takes its place. If this resonates, share it with a friend who’s wrestling, subscribe for more candid journeys, and leave a review to help others find their first step forward.PODCAST EPISODE REFERENCED IN THE EPISODE: CLICK HERE.Send us Fan Mail www.seedsoflightoracle.com/ipw Want to add a new passive income stream to your business that aligns with your values of health, family, and conscious wealth? 111. How A Values-Driven Side Income Kept Me Steady Through A Total Business Rebuild
What if your business could honor your faith, protect your time, and still pay the bills every month? That’s the journey I open up today—walking from a new age‑entangled coaching brand to a values‑aligned income stream that feels steady, clean, and genuinely helpful for families.I unpack the uncomfortable middle: realizing your offers no longer match your convictions, saying goodbye to tools that once defined your work, and facing the fear of losing a community as your beliefs change. Instead of burning everything down, I kept one pillar—an affiliate partnership with a transparent wellness company that treats people right. We talk about low‑cost memberships, wholesale pricing, and products with third‑party test results on every batch. No proprietary blends, no mystery doses, just certified organic formulas that are often cheaper than the questionable stuff online. It’s practical, it’s ethical, and it serves real needs in the home. From there, we zoom out to what freedom really means for moms. I share how recurring commissions create breathing room during life’s disruptions, why service beats hustle for long‑term sustainability, and how mentoring a collaborative team can multiply impact without sacrificing family. You’ll hear real outcomes—single moms consolidating jobs, couples retiring from day work, entrepreneurs funding investments—plus the mindset shift that puts integrity and stewardship ahead of revenue vanity metrics. If you crave time freedom, financial stability, and work that aligns with your faith, this conversation gives you a grounded path forward.Ready to explore a model that puts home first and still grows? 110. I Was Wrong About New Age And Jesus
A year ago, we argued you could chase “Christ consciousness” without embracing a Bible-centered faith—and we treated religion like a control system. After a season of prayer, study, and honest self-audit, we’re back to share what changed and why the shift brought more peace, not less. This is a candid walk-through of moving from self-optimization to surrender, from theories about ascension to a relationship with a living Savior. We open with the rebrand that led us to revisit an older episode, then unpack the core difference between making Jesus a model for perfection and trusting Jesus as the one who saves imperfect people. Grace changes the economy: instead of endless pressure to heal, manifest, and measure up, we talk about the relief of Romans 3:23 and the freedom of not being our own redeemers. We explore obedience as alignment rather than oppression, describing how a heart-level change quietly shifts habits—interests fade, compulsions loosen, and daily choices get lighter without shame or scorekeeping. We also get practical and nerdy. Curious about canon formation and the gospel of Mary Magdalene? We trace why fragmentary, late, sparsely attested texts didn’t make it into the Bible, and how rigorous criteria aimed for coherence with apostolic witness. On the “you can find a verse for anything” claim, we show how context stabilizes meaning and how God’s character remains consistent across scripture—compassion with responsibility, mercy with moral clarity. The throughline is simple: less conspiracy, more consistency; less performance, more presence. If you’re deconstructing, reconstructing, or just tired of spiritual hustle, this conversation offers a grounded alternative: joyful obedience, a steadier hope, and a faith that holds when your perfection doesn’t. 109. I Left New Age & Found Jesus: My Story & Update
A song in the kitchen broke everything open. One moment I was planning an oracle deck launch; the next, I was sobbing to an old worship chorus and realizing the “peace” I’d been manufacturing wasn’t the real thing. This episode is a candid walk through my rebrand to Counterculture Mama and the turn from new age practices to a faith-led life that reshaped my marriage, business, and sense of self.I share what drew me into Reiki, tarot, kundalini, and the Akashic Records—and why the promise of infinite self-optimization eventually felt like a burden I couldn’t set down. Then we get practical about what changed when I started treating the Bible as protection rather than control. The first test was at home: embracing biblical submission not as erasure, but as trust in my husband’s leadership. The shift was immediate—less friction, more unity—and it forced me to re-examine the stories I told about power, freedom, and truth. We also talk about living in the messy middle: too Christian for my spiritual friends, too “woo-adjacent” for some believers. I’m choosing to be a bridge. 108. When Being Too Self-Aware Becomes Self-Abandonment: Finding Balance in Relationships
Have you ever found yourself so busy analyzing your own patterns and emotional responses that you've forgotten to actually ask for what you need? That's what I call "the curse of the self-aware woman" – and it might be silently eroding your relationships. While self-awareness is undeniably valuable, there's a dangerous tipping point where accountability becomes self-abandonment. Many women pride themselves on doing their inner work, understanding their triggers, and taking responsibility for their emotional responses. Yet this same awareness can become a trap when it convinces you to shoulder the entire burden of relationship dynamics. You start dismissing your legitimate needs as "just your abandonment wound talking" or "your trauma being triggered," rather than honoring them as valid desires deserving expression. This episode explores the delicate balance between owning your patterns and advocating for yourself. I share practical examples of how to communicate needs without falling into mothering energy (like the shelf-building scenario that transforms demanding into expressing desire), and why vulnerability – not control – is the pathway to healthier relationships. Whether you're struggling with romantic partnerships, friendships, or family dynamics, you'll discover how to maintain your self-awareness without sacrificing your right to feel supported. Ready to break free from the self-awareness curse? This conversation might just change how you approach every relationship in your life.Send us Fan Mail Want to add a new passive income stream to your business that aligns with your values of health, family, and conscious wealth? 107. Your Impact Doesn't Require a Transaction
Have you ever noticed how we entrepreneurs can become completely tunnel-visioned, believing our impact comes exclusively through our businesses? That revelation hit me hard this weekend, and it's completely transforming how I show up in the world. For years, I operated under the assumption that my business was my legacy—that to make a meaningful impact, people needed to join my programs, download my resources, or become paying clients. While my heart has always been in the right place (as I know yours is too), I've realized this mindset creates what I now call "conditional leadership"—only offering value when expecting something in return. This mindset shift feels incredibly liberating. Instead of measuring impact by business metrics, I'm focusing on how I show up in every interaction—from the person I pass in the grocery store to community members in Facebook groups. I'm creating spaces driven by genuine connection rather than conversion. I'm recognizing that my impact doesn't require a transaction, and my leadership doesn't need to be conditional. This isn't about abandoning business goals or devaluing what we offer professionally. I still believe deeply in the transformation my programs provide. Rather, it's about expanding our definition of impact beyond business boundaries and removing the paywalls to purpose. It's about filling our days with activities that bring genuine joy and alignment, trusting that the good we put out returns to us in abundance. How might your approach to business and life change if you focused less on strategic moves and more on this simple question: "How do I want to be remembered by everyone I encounter today?" Join me in making impact everywhere, not just with those who pay us. What would feel liberating to you in this season of your business journey?Send us Fan Mail Want to add a new passive income stream to your business that aligns with your values of health, family, and conscious wealth? 106. WHY You're Not Seeing the Results You Want (And What You're Subconsciously Manifesting Instead)
Transforming your reality begins with a deceptively simple shift: being intentional about where you source your information and advice. We often default to whatever resources are most readily available – Facebook groups, friends, or family – without questioning if these sources actually align with our desires. This creates a self-reinforcing cycle where limiting beliefs get strengthened rather than challenged.Consider what happens when a woman seeking a natural birth asks about pain in a conventional forum. She's immediately flooded with "I wanted that too, but..." stories that reshape her expectations before she's had her own experience. The anticipation itself creates tension, which intensifies pain – exactly like bracing before an elastic band snap hurts more than a surprise snap. The solution isn't positive thinking or denial – it's strategic resourcing. Want a blissful birth? Seek women who've had one. Dream of financial freedom? Connect with people who've achieved it. Desire a balanced business? Find entrepreneurs who've built success without burnout. These encounters create what I call "the crack of possibility" – that moment when your mind opens to "What if it doesn't have to be this way?"This approach transformed my own birth experience. By researching physiological birth and listening to women with positive stories, I created space for my own blissful experience. During labor, instead of anticipating increasing pain, I wondered, "What if it doesn't get more intense?" That question allowed my body to soften rather than tense.Ready to transform your reality? Start by examining your information sources. Are they reinforcing limitations or expanding possibilities? The quality of your questions determines the quality of your life. What will you ask today?Send us Fan Mail Want to add a new passive income stream to your business that aligns with your values of health, family, and conscious wealth? 105. The 18-Month Void That Changed Everything
Have you ever felt the call to burn your business to the ground and start fresh, even when everything seemed to be working? That terrifying space where you know something needs to change but have no idea what will replace it? Welcome to what I call "the void" – and my recent 18-month journey through it transformed everything. Two years ago, I discovered I was pregnant with my third child just as my coaching business was finally hitting its stride. I had the clients, the masterminds, the group programs – conventional success by all metrics. Yet deep in my soul, I knew these structures wouldn't work with a newborn, especially as someone committed to being present for my children rather than outsourcing their care. What followed was the most challenging business transition I've ever experienced: letting everything go without knowing what would replace it.My income dropped to zero. Not temporarily, but for 18 months. I questioned everything – my purpose, my business model, whether I should just close shop entirely. The business world constantly demands growth, bigger numbers, and never being satisfied with where you are. We create a culture where coaches brag about income during good months and disappear during inevitable downturns. Some even begin manipulating numbers to maintain the illusion of constant success. But what happens when your deepest values call you to step away from that hamster wheel? When clarity finally arrived this spring, it came in two forms: a renewed vision for supporting freedom-minded mothers in creating businesses that honor their desire to be present for their families, and an unexpected opportunity for passive residual income. After initially dismissing it as "too good to be true," I discovered a business model that allows me to earn consistently without sacrificing presence with my children. Combined with forthcoming royalty payments from my Oracle deck, I've built a foundation that supports my family regardless of how actively I'm working. The void taught me that sometimes we must release everything to make room for what's truly aligned. If you're feeling called to let something go but terrified of the uncertainty, trust the whispers of your soul. Whatever emerges on the other side will be more abundantly perfect than you could possibly imagine.Send us Fan Mail Want to add a new passive income stream to your business that aligns with your values of health, family, and conscious wealth? 104. You're Not Failing, You're Human: Navigating Imperfection While Leading Others
Have you ever worked so hard on healing a pattern only to find yourself right back in it? That moment of realization can bring crushing guilt—especially when you're in a leadership or healing role yourself. You know better, so why are you here again? The truth is that none of us are immune to our patterns. Even with all the consciousness work, therapy, and personal development in the world, we remain beautifully human. And humans have patterns. What truly matters isn't how perfectly we avoid them, but rather how gracefully we recognize and redirect when we find ourselves caught in the familiar current. In this candid episode, I share my recent experience slipping back into workaholic tendencies despite knowing better. I talk about how my genuine passion for a new business opportunity transformed into hyper-fixation, leading me to neglect self-care and flirt with burnout—even while being completely aligned with work I love. This contradicts the common coaching narrative that alignment prevents burnout, which simply isn't true for many of us.You'll learn practical strategies for course correction without self-punishment, including how changing your inner dialogue from "I can't" to "I'm choosing not to today" can transform your relationship with boundaries. I discuss the importance of recognizing your personal burnout signals, setting empowered boundaries with yourself, and embracing the power of conscious choice when you notice yourself veering off track.Whether you're healing, growing, leading others, or all of the above, this episode invites you to extend yourself the same compassion you offer others. Because there's no medal for perfection, but there's massive power in the return to alignment. 103. The $50 Decision That's Changing My Financial Reality
Tired of the endless launch cycle that keeps you chained to your business? Ready to build income that continues growing even when you step away? This raw and honest conversation dives deep into what true financial sovereignty looks like for entrepreneurs, especially those with families and multiple responsibilities. When I became pregnant with my third child, I faced a harsh reality: my coaching business model wasn't sustainable with my changing capacity. Despite having multiple offers, I realized they all represented just one income stream – one that would dry up the moment I stopped actively working. This revelation led me to systematically simplify my business, retiring programs and letting go of structures that had generated significant income. It was terrifying, but necessary. After 18 months of searching, I discovered a genuine opportunity to build leveraged income – one that aligns with my values while providing sustainable growth. Unlike traditional business models that demand constant attention, this affiliate structure continues building wealth whether I'm actively promoting it or not. With a minimal investment ($50 to start, $10 monthly afterward), it offers accessibility that traditional coaching programs simply can't match. What truly sets this opportunity apart is its mission to help "underdogs" transform their financial situations, creating generational wealth for families who might otherwise struggle.Ready to break free from the cycle of constant hustle? Ready to build income that works FOR you rather than because of you? Reach out with the word "sovereign" on social media, and let's explore how this opportunity could transform your financial future. Your freedom awaits – and it might just be more accessible than you ever imagined.Send us Fan Mail www.seedsoflightoracle.com/ipw Want to add a new passive income stream to your business that aligns with your values of health, family, and conscious wealth? 102. Why Income Diversification Matters for Mom Entrepreneurs: Is It Time For a Side Hustle?
Freedom shouldn't be a privilege reserved for a select few mothers who have mastered the impossible juggling act. Yet, after five years in the online coaching industry, I've witnessed countless women trapped in an exhausting cycle of almost-success followed by family-mandated setbacks. The hard truth? Putting all your eggs in the coaching basket creates a business that collapses when your family needs you most. As mothers, we're constantly pulled in multiple directions – managing homes, caring for sick kids, planning birthday parties, maintaining marriages – while trying to build sustainable businesses. Something has to give, and it's usually either your income or your presence with your family.I've experienced both sides of this spectrum. In the early days, I was secretly burning out behind my professional facade. Later, I stepped away to prioritize my family, watching my income plummet. Neither extreme served my core value: freedom. That's why I created Sovereign Wealth – a system that allows freedom-focused mothers to build true residual income that continues growing even when life happens. This isn't about flashy overnight success stories (though some exist). It's about sustainable, aligned wealth-building that requires minimal daily effort – less than an hour a day on average. It's about creating genuine passive income streams that work alongside your existing business or replace it entirely. In just three weeks, I've already seen a 200% return on my annual investment, with pure profit from here forward. What makes this different is the community aspect. We support each other as equals, not in hierarchical coaching relationships. We collaborate, mastermind, and grow together. And the barrier to entry is incredibly low – less than your annual Netflix subscription.Ready to liberate yourself from the constraints of traditional business models and build something that serves both your family and financial goals? Send me a message to learn more about reclaiming your freedom without compromise. 101. Sovereign Wealth, Passive Income & Answering Your Questions
What if there was a way to create residual income that didn't force you to compromise your integrity or constantly hustle? After turning down dozens of network marketing opportunities over the years, I finally found one that resonated with my soul mission and ethical standards. The Sovereign Wealth Blueprint stands apart from traditional MLM structures in ways that matter deeply. With just a $10 monthly membership fee and no minimum purchase requirements to earn commissions, it eliminates the financial pressure that typically drives questionable tactics in the industry. Members save significantly on wellness products they'd buy anyway, making the opportunity valuable even without the business component. During my most recent order, I saved nearly four times my monthly membership cost on products that were already priced below comparable retail options. What started as a quiet side project quickly transformed into something I couldn't help but share publicly. This opportunity has rekindled my passion for coaching and community building after stepping back from my business for nearly two years to focus on family. Rather than distracting from my mission to help people reclaim their sovereignty, it's enhanced it—providing a practical pathway to financial freedom that aligns perfectly with my values. The results speak volumes about the model's potential. Within two weeks, I'd already recovered my initial investment plus my membership fee for the entire year through fast-start bonuses. While building substantial residual income takes time, this heart-centered, relationship-based approach creates sustainable growth without requiring aggressive recruiting or a large social media following. Most importantly, this opportunity is shifting my relationship with work, wealth, and motherhood. By creating a foundation of reliable passive income, it removes the pressure to constantly hustle in my coaching business, allowing me to be more present in all aspects of life. It's creating space for a softer, more supported existence where income generation and soul-aligned work peacefully coexist with life's other responsibilities.Feeling that intuitive pull to learn more? Message me with the word "sovereign" and let's explore whether this opportunity might be the missing piece in your financial freedom puzzle. 100. 100 Episodes Later: What Starting a Podcast Taught Me About Following Soul Nudges
Have you ever put off something important because you felt you weren't "enough" yet? That's exactly where I was before launching this podcast—drowning in social media's superficiality, yearning for deeper connection, yet paralyzed by feelings of inadequacy and tech overwhelm. Who would listen to me? What made my voice special? These questions kept me stuck until I finally took the leap. Now, 100 episodes later, I'm reflecting on this beautifully imperfect journey. There have been seasons of consistency punctuated by complete hiatuses when life demanded my attention elsewhere. Looking back, I realize the profound wisdom that emerged from these very gaps and pauses. Had I waited for perfect conditions or uninterrupted schedules, I might never have started at all—and would have missed the transformation that came through simply showing up.The greatest lesson this podcast taught me wasn't about content creation or audience building, but about the relationship between success and life itself. I've come to identify as "team life" first, "team success" second. When these values compete, I choose my life every time—a perspective that wasn't learned from a mentor but through the lived experience of this podcast journey. This shift opened me to greater alignment in how I structure my business and my days, finding freedom in surrender rather than forced productivity. Whether you've been with me since episode one or just discovered this show, I hope my journey encourages you to follow your soul's nudges, even when—especially when—the path looks messy. 099. Purpose and Passive Income: Finding Freedom Within the Trad Wife Lifestyle
Balancing tradition and ambition often feels impossible in today's world, where we're constantly told we must choose between career and family. My journey through this seemingly contradictory landscape revealed a truth I never expected to find: embracing my role as a traditional wife didn't mean abandoning my purpose and drive—it meant redefining them. When I first stepped away from corporate life to be home with my children, I carried the hustle mentality with me, believing I needed to "retire my husband" to prove my worth. The results were predictable but painful: resentment building as dishes piled up while I worked tirelessly on a coaching business with inconsistent income. My husband couldn't understand why I was "working" all day without bringing in steady money or maintaining our home. I couldn't understand why my ambitions felt at odds with family harmony. The wake-up call came with my third pregnancy, forcing me to face a difficult truth: something had to give. What began as grief over potentially abandoning my business transformed into profound clarity about what truly mattered. Surrendering to my identity as a homemaker wasn't about diminishing myself—it was about embracing a role that could bring peace when approached with intention and presence. Meanwhile, I discovered that my impact and income didn't require constant active work through coaching. Creating an Oracle deck allowed me to write during baby naps and quiet moments, building something valuable without sacrificing my presence at home. What I've discovered is revolutionary yet simple: passive income streams can provide financial contribution and purpose without demanding the sacrifice of family harmony. By aiming for income sources that don't require constant attention, I've found the equilibrium that allows me to be deeply present at home while still feeling fulfilled professionally. This isn't about having it all at once—it's about creating sustainable systems that honor your highest priorities in each season.Ready to explore how you might create your own version of this balance? The path to sovereignty within tradition is unique for each woman, but it begins with questioning the narrative that success requires constant hustle and sacrifice. 098. Birth Trauma, Sovereignty, and the Cost of “Playing it Safe”
Ever felt caught between worlds when planning your birth? Desiring the empowerment of a sovereign experience while still clinging to medical oversight "just in case"? This raw, unfiltered conversation dives deep into the fundamental contradiction many pregnant women face—and why straddling both paradigms often leads to the very interventions and trauma they hope to avoid.Drawing from personal experience and countless conversations with new mothers, I explore how the medical system's approach to birth—rooted in the belief that women's bodies need constant management—directly conflicts with our innate wisdom and biological design. When we engage with prenatal medical care while hoping for minimal intervention, we unwittingly enter a system designed to find abnormalities and implement standardized protocols. This creates the perfect conditions for the infamous "cascade of interventions" that transforms natural birth into medical emergencies. At the core of sovereign birth lies a profound question: do you truly trust your intuition, or are you still outsourcing your power? The hard truth is that partial commitment to natural birth leaves you vulnerable to having your power stripped away entirely. I share candid insights about ultrasounds, monitoring, hospital protocols, and the tactics that erode women's confidence in their bodies—not to shame anyone's choices, but to illuminate the conditioning we've all received about birth being dangerous rather than beautifully designed.Whether you're planning a hospital birth, considering home birth, or somewhere in between, this episode invites you to examine where your beliefs about birth truly lie. What percentage of trust do you have in your body versus how much are you outsourcing to external authorities? The goal isn't to push everyone toward unassisted birth, but to help you achieve clarity about your values so your birth experience strengthens rather than damages your connection to your intuitive wisdom. What birth questions are on your mind? Connect with me through comments or social media—I'm passionate about women reclaiming birth as a key part of reclaiming sovereignty in all aspects of life.Send us Fan Mail www.seedsoflightoracle.com/ipw Want to add a new passive income stream to your business that aligns with your values of health, family, and conscious wealth? 097. Digital Detox: Conscious Parenting in a Tech-Saturated World
Raising children in today's hyper-connected world presents challenges previous generations never faced. How do we balance providing our kids access to necessary technology while protecting their developing minds from digital dependence? My family's journey began with a strong intuitive resistance to touchscreen technology when my oldest was just a baby. I wanted his neural framework developing through interaction with physical toys and nature rather than swiping screens. For years this conservative approach worked well, but as he entered his preteen years and technology became unavoidable in schools and social circles, we needed to evolve. What's consistently guided our technology decisions is the unmistakable behavioral patterns I've observed. After screen time, my children display decreased creativity, increased complaints of boredom, resistance to helping around the house, and general irritability. During our technology "reset weeks," I watch their natural sparkle return - they build forts, draw comics, play outside, and even voluntarily help with chores. This stark contrast reinforces our commitment to conscious technology boundaries.Rather than just being the parent who says no, I've found tremendous value in having emotionally intelligent conversations about what we observe together. These discussions outside moments of conflict help my children understand the bigger picture and recognize their own patterns with technology. By modeling healthy tech habits ourselves and explaining our reasoning, we're teaching awareness that will serve them into adulthood when they're making their own choices.Every family must find their unique balance between digital reality and conscious parenting ideals. Trust your observations, follow your intuition, and remember that as parents, we're laying the foundation for our children's lifelong relationship with technology. 096. From Feminist to Trad Wife: My Unexpected Journey
The great debate between traditional and modern roles for women often misses the heart of what truly matters – a woman's freedom to choose her own path. Drawing from my unexpected personal journey, I share how I transformed from a staunch feminist with corporate ambitions to embracing elements of the "trad wife" lifestyle without sacrificing my strength or voice. My story begins in business school, determined to climb the corporate ladder and fiercely protective of my independence. I once viewed traditional wives through a lens of judgment, assuming their choices stemmed from weakness or manipulation. But after having children and witnessing the consequences of my career-focused absence, particularly with my son, everything changed. The contrasting experience of being fully present during my daughter's early years illuminated what truly mattered to me and to my family's wellbeing. The most profound lesson came through learning the art of submission – not as surrender, but as conscious trust and respect. This shift allowed me to discover complementary strength with my husband, creating a dynamic where we each bring our unique energies to our partnership. Contrary to what I once believed, women who choose traditional roles often embody remarkable resilience, wisdom, and power. They aren't weak or oppressed; they simply derive their value from different contributions. This journey has deepened not just my marriage but my spiritual connection and sense of self in ways corporate success never could. If you're struggling with societal expectations around femininity, partnership, or purpose, remember that true empowerment comes not from following external prescriptions but from the courage to forge your own authentic path.Take a moment to examine where your beliefs about gender roles come from. Are they truly yours, or inherited from cultural messaging? Your unique journey deserves the freedom to unfold according to your values, not someone else's definition of empowerment.Send us Fan Mail www.seedsoflightoracle.com/ipw Want to add a new passive income stream to your business that aligns with your values of health, family, and conscious wealth? 095. Control Freaks Anonymous: Why My 3-Year Deck Delay Was Actually Perfect
True power lies in knowing when to surrender the timeline. After three years of creating my oracle deck—a journey filled with delays, doubts, and pivotal redirections—I've discovered the profound wisdom in letting divine timing lead the way. What started as the "Quantum Priestess Oracle" in late 2022 transformed into the "Seeds of Light Oracle Deck," evolving far beyond my initial vision. The manuscript sat incomplete while I wrestled with perfectionism. My fears of inadequacy caused procrastination. Then, when I finally felt ready to self-publish, the universe presented a traditional publishing opportunity—extending the timeline by another year. Each apparent "setback" revealed itself as divine intervention. I needed to grow into becoming the woman who could authentically author this deck. Cards I'd written before fully embodying their wisdom were rewritten through new perspectives after I'd integrated their teachings. The extended timeline allowed both me and the project to breathe, mature, and transform into something transcendent. This lesson now informs every aspect of my life, including our potential cross-country move. Rather than forcing pieces to fit my preferred schedule, I've learned to set clear intentions while remaining open to the universe's perfect timing. The result? A relationship with manifestation that feels collaborative rather than controlling.Whether you're creating something meaningful, awaiting a significant change, or feeling stuck between your timeline and the universe's plan—this episode invites you to release your grip on when things "should" happen and trust that divine timing delivers exactly what's needed, exactly when it's needed.Send us Fan MailWant to add a new passive income stream to your business that aligns with your values of health, family, and conscious wealth?
