    Reclaiming Value: Embracing the Art of Rebirth, Inspired by Earth Day (Ep 80)

    When the preciously announced planned guest for this date had to reschedule, Kelly decided to record an Earth Day inspired episode in their place. In this episode, she reflects on a Western, disposable culture that rewards replacing and discarding—of objects and also identities—exploring how people often restart or reinvent instead of refining, integrating, and staying long enough to transform. Drawing from her upcycled art practice, she describes reclaiming overlooked, broken, or weathered materials and turning them into meaningful work without erasing history, and connect this to self-worth: discomfort, stagnation, mistakes, and changing shape don’t mean something is waste. She explains how constant “new” can mask repeating loops (new relationship, new goal, same burnout/avoidance) and contrast this with nature’s repurposing.     The Beginning of the Apprenticeship — We Decided to Document It (Ep 77)

And the distortion becomes that you associate visibility with danger." "  Bullying plants false identities in children that adults mistake is their personality. It's not who they truly are. It's who they became to survive." "  Shame is the lowest vibrational frequency there is. This is why I'm always coming back to shame and one of my favorite mantras: Shame off me. Shame off me." "    Understand that bullies feed on your reactivity. Bullies do not thrive on your existence. They thrive on your response. They want your tears, your fear, your defensiveness, your over-explaining, your cracked voice, your emotional spiral. Not because they win, but because it confirms the role that they need to be powerful." If there are certain situations that repeatedly provoke you, they are pointing exactly to where your next growth edge lies, because that recurring sting. Is not random." " ... back then, in ancient times, a sudden noise meant run or fight true physical danger. Your body flooded with adrenaline to fuel escape. Then, it was truly a predator. Now, your brain can't tell the difference between a real tiger and a late notice for a zoom call."
