S3 Ep24: Sending Fearful Demonic Manifestations to Hell

We have an exciting episode this week as Stephanie shares her stories of battling spiritual oppression in many forms throughout her life.  The attacks on her identity as a child of God began as a teen when crippling anxiety took over her emotions out of seemingly nowhere.  While anxiety can be caused by many things - physical, emotional, or spiritual - Stephanie discerned that her specific difficulties had a darker spiritual root.  As she learned to partner with God in her authority over darkness, she began to heal.  These early experiences then prepared her for an intense testing of her faith when her own mother began to demonically manifest.  Through the power of prayer, deliverance, and unity with followers of Jesus, Stephanie prayed deliverance over her mother.  They both received breakthrough and freedom from demonic powers and continue to minister that freedom to others.   You can also check out Stephanie's own podcast, Water in the Wilderness, on Spotify!       Follow our show on IG: https://www.instagram.com/gotohellshow/ Watch our episodes on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@GoToHellShow

S3 Ep23: Sending Cycles of Fear and Abandonment to Hell

This week, we are interviewing author, mother, and grandmother, Sandy Ohlman, as she shares how God’s plan has been evident in her life from the time she was in her mother’s womb.  Sandy was adopted  into an amazing family at just a few days old.  Although her adopted family was a miracle for her, God still had to do deep works of healing as Sandy processed the hurt and abandonment of being separated from her birth mother.  Sandy grew up in Toronto until she married an American missionary kid and moved to the states.  They created a normal life for themselves as their family became more involved in church.  However, Sandy found that the more she threw herself into ministry, the more she struggled to deal with depression and anger.  Finally, God halted everything and told her to take an entire year to pray and read her bible.  During that time, God healed her of the fear of man and her repetitive cycles of abandonment.  She took all the lessons God taught her and put them into her new book, “Build You For Life”.  Find Sandy here: www.sandyohlman.com IG: @build_you_for_life           Follow our show on IG: https://www.instagram.com/gotohellshow/ Watch our episodes on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@GoToHellShow

S3 Ep22: Sending the Distraction of Energy Healing to Hell

In today’s episode, Rania describes her journey of seeking God as a little girl which eventually led her into a variety of spiritual practices before finally meeting Jesus.  Rania always found herself seemingly more connected to the spiritual realm that most people, whether that was through dreams or premonitions.  She found a use for her gifts through energy healing, eventually opening her own practice, working to heal many people.  However, after attending her best friend’s baptism, something began to shift in Rania.  She realized that maybe all of these spiritual experiences in energy healing were just working together as a distraction from the truth of Jesus as God.  As she surrendered her life to Christ, she left energy healing and new age practices behind her, embracing the true freedom and joy only found in Jesus.     Follow our show on IG: https://www.instagram.com/gotohellshow/ Watch our episodes on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@GoToHellShow

S3 Ep21: Sending the Yoke of Grief to Hell

In today’s episode, Mikaela shares how God revealed that grief was keeping her bound in bitterness.  After walking through a dark season of losing her sister to cancer, she was also met with trials in her church family relationships. While navigating a tremendous loss and recognizing the importance of grief, Mikaela began to realize that her legitimate pain was ultimately keeping her from fully healing. She testifies to the fact that no matter the circumstance, God provides his children with unspeakable joy and hope when we turn to Him.     Follow our show on IG: https://www.instagram.com/gotohellshow/ Watch our episodes on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@GoToHellShow

S3 Ep20: Sending the Enneagram to Hell

“Who am I?” This age-old question has plagued individuals for centuries. Sometimes, people seek answers through various personality tests that offer insights into their inner selves. This week, Meredith joins us to share her journey of exploring her identity through the Enneagram, a test that has gained popularity, particularly within Christian circles. Initially appearing innocent and helpful, Meredith’s experience with this system led to confusion and relational hurt. She discovered that true understanding of her identity came from seeking God. Meredith encourages others to avoid common deceptions about self-discovery promoted by personality tests. She emphasizes that God’s truth surpasses any confusing categories we attempt to impose on ourselves.    Follow our show on IG: https://www.instagram.com/gotohellshow/ Watch our episodes on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@GoToHellShow

S3 Ep19: Sending Old Hater's Opinions to Hell

This week, Kristie shares an amazing story of how she built a non-profit organization from nothing but a word from God.  When she was just at the beginning of her college journey, she heard God speak to her that she would start a non-profit in Haiti to minister to the many orphaned children there.  And not just that - she would do it soon, while she was still in college.  Despite her initial apprehension that she would have what it takes to take on such a big task, God laid out the path for her one miracle at a time.  From finding financial support to building an amazing Haitian staff, God brought the vision to pass.  Kristie’s testimony is an inspiration that no matter how many people want to look down on you, remind you of the worst case scenarios, or roll their eyes at your naivety, you can do anything with God’s mercy and grace!       Follow our show on IG: https://www.instagram.com/gotohellshow/ Watch our episodes on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@GoToHellShow

S2 Ep16: Sending My Perfectly Planned Life to Hell

This week, we’re joined by Julia, who shares the ups and downs of learning to follow the voice of God.  She first began to understand the varying ways God speaks when she was in high school.  As she sat down to pray in the middle of the woods, God used a literal gust of wind to open her Bible and speak directly to her circumstance.  From there, God used everything from dreams to words of encouragement from strangers, to show her that His plan is better than anything she could make up for herself.  Julia details the story of how she met her husband on a trip to Israel and the interesting ways God confirmed their relationship.  From start to finish, Julia’s story highlights how creative God is in communicating through both scripture and His world.       Follow our show on IG: https://www.instagram.com/gotohellshow/ Watch our episodes on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@GoToHellShow

S2 Ep14: Sending Self-Protection in Relationships to Hell

In this episode, Janet weaves the story of her journey in embracing vulnerability. As a girl, she learned to build walls in relationships, perfecting the survival skill of stoicism in the midst of family instability. Carrying her “strong” self-reliance into adulthood, her ability to be truly known in relationships was limited. In a surprising turn of events, Janet and her husband met a pastor whose approach to Christianity broke the norm.  As a result, Janet began witnessing God as a loving Father who was patiently helping her tear down the fortress that had protected her heart for so long.  She experienced the abundant goodness of God at work as she began to follow God’s way for relationships and see many of her friends come to faith in the process!   Follow our show on IG: https://www.instagram.com/gotohellshow/ Watch our episodes on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@GoToHellShow

Ep. 8: Sending the Image of an Angry God to Hell

Episode 8 was an extra special episode for us to record because we interviewed our uncle, James!  He grew up in Costa Rica and joined our family when he was 9 years old.  He talks about the traumatic experiences he went through as a child, and how that pain followed him well after his adoption.  Because of his past, James viewed God as an impersonal higher power who was always ready to get angry and dole out punishments at a moment’s notice.  But over the years, God showed James that He is full of love and grace, ready to embrace His children no matter what.  James’s testimony is an encouragement to know that God can heal even the deepest of traumas and give us the eyes to see the truth of the love of God.   Follow us on Instagram: @gotohellshow

Ep. 7: Sending the Old Self to Hell

Episode 7 brings a bit of a heavier discussion as we talk with Dani about how God redeemed her from a painful past.  Early in her teenage years, Dani began to believe lies about her worth and identity that affected how she viewed herself and relationships.  These lies ultimately led to a series of painful relationships and the decision to get an abortion when she became pregnant.  Even in the midst of grief, God met Dani in a very powerful way when she let Him give her a new identity in Christ and heal her pain.  Dani does not hold back in describing all the ways that God has redeemed her to the point where she doesn’t even recognize her past self anymore.  We hope that her story encourages you, knowing God can redeem everyone no matter what your past looks like!   Follow us on Instagram: @gotohellshow

Ep. 6: Sending False Dichotomies To Hell

This week, we interview Gail as she shares how God brought her into complete freedom in her identify.  Growing up, she wrestled with her sexuality and faced intense rejection from her family when she came out to them.  From that experience, the lie was planted that she could either choose her family or "freedom" in the world.  But God worked a miracle, not only in Gail's life as the Holy Spirit drew her to faith, but in her family as the fruit of the Spirit grew in them. Gail found ultimate freedom in embracing her God-given identity as a beloved daughter and also healing in her relationship with her family.  Her testimony is a picture of God's lavish grace and abundant life that He has for all of us if we just say "yes!" to Him.

Ep. 5: Sending New Age Cures for Depression to Hell

**This episode was our first virtually recorded interview, which was a bit of a learning curve for us.  The audio is not up to our regular, crisp standard, so please bear with us.  Thanks for your patience!  We hope to master the art of virtual audio/video very soon!**   This week, we hear from Clara, who shares her story of searching for new age solutions to her depression.  Clara discusses how her background of growing up in a Chaldean Catholic family shaped her view of God (and even tells a bit about growing up with poltergeist activity in her house when she was younger!).  Despite having an understanding of God and His love growing up, Clara began looking for a cure in New Age practices when dealing with mental health struggles.  From crystals to tarot to astrology, nothing was able to give her the peace she was searching for. Then one night, Clara asked Jesus for help, and He healed her in a miraculous way.  Now Clara encourages others to seek the face of Jesus and stand firm on His promises when facing discouragement.   Follow us on Instagram: @gotohellshow

Ep. 4: Sending the Spirit of Chaos to Hell

This week, we hope you journey along with us as we hear from Casey! Recounting her time in rural Madagascar, Casey shares how the power of prayer sent darkness to hell during a Turning of the Bones ceremony. Though Casey and her friends felt the suffocating presence of dark spiritual forces, they prayed for a way out and the Lord responded!    While the spiritual realm might seem a little less tangible here in the West, the anxieties of this productive age keep us in covert bondage. Casey advises on how to abide in Christ and seek His peace amid the hurry of American routine.

Ep. 3: Sending an Overwhelming Prognosis to Hell

This week, we interview Kelsey, who shares a story of God showing up in the middle of a medical emergency with His saving grace.  After her young son sustained a severe burn, Kelsey and her husband were looking at a future full of medical procedures and surgeries for him.  Their faith was tested as they waited on God for a second opinion in the midst of the chaos.  Although unsure of how God would move, they remained steadfast, believing He would show up with salvation and healing for their entire family.

Ep. 1: Sending Syncretism to Hell

We kick of Season 1 of Go To Hell with Erika and Kelli with Erika sharing the origin story of Go To Hell.  This podcast was born out of a difficult season that Erika went through that resulted in God revealing how blurry boundaries she had drawn in life were keeping her from a deeper relationship with Him.  She was taken on a journey of learning to allow God to define her life and decisions by His Word and not cultural norms.   Throughout that time, God sent many wrong beliefs and sins to hell for her, ultimately showing her that Jesus's words are are true and can always be trusted.
