How to Talk With God (not AT God)

Welcome backk to GodzVillage,Talking to God is easy Talking with God is what feels awkward....at first. You’re not always going to hear an audible voice.God speaks personally.Just like a parent talks to each child differently, BUT loves ALL equally. God uniquely connects with each of us. But His Word stays the foundation. God's will still needs to be filled. For me, God speaks through:• questions• conviction• reflection• honestyI had to remove distractions, admit procrastination, and be real about why I was avoiding what He called me to do.Talking to God looks like:🙏 praising Him🤍 being honest about guilt or fear🤫 sitting in silence📖 grounding it all in ScriptureYou don’t need perfect words, just intention.Start small. Five minutes is a start. He wants your heart, not perfection.Stay patient. Stay present. Learning How to Make Faithful Decisions (Nehemiah)

🎙️Welcome back to GodsVillage! 🤍In today’s episode, we’re talking about how to make faithful decisions and what it looks like to truly seek God before choosing a path.Life is full of choices, and sometimes we’re led by emotions, friends, or what seems easiest in the moment. But faithful decisions come from turning to God first through prayer, Scripture, and learning to recognize His voice.💭 Reflective Questions:• What are you led by when making decisions?• Does your choice lead to good or harmful results?• After deciding, do you feel peace or confusion?• Is the decision God-centered or self-centered?• Do you seek God in prayer or look for random signs?📖 We also look at the leadership of Nehemiah, who showed how prayer, wisdom, and trusting God can guide big decisions.✨ Quick testimony: Asking God for help understanding the Bible and how that prayer connected me with the book 30 Days to Understand the Bible through a conversation with my cousin. A reminder that God answers prayers in ways we might not expect.💡 Final Thought:Faithful decisions come from seeking God, being patient, and trusting that He will guide you step by step.Stay safe out here Villagerzz 🤍#GodsVillage #GodzVillageK #FaithfulDecisions #Nehemiah #ChristianGrowth #SeekGodFirst #FaithJourneySpring'24

R you putting on lotion? What is love?

🎙️ Love, Boundaries & Growth ❤️ '24In this episode of GodzVillage, I’m sharing what I’ve learned about love myself, my family, and God’s perspective 🌱.💡 Growing up, I protected myself and distanced from some things, but I realized love is shown through actions, not just words.💖 With my family, I had to unlearn that love = affection or time together and understand that sometimes love means meeting people where they are.⏳ For me, love is about showing up, giving time, and being present, even if it’s not always recognized.💭 Takeaway: Love takes patience, action, and understanding. Learn to see it through God’s eyes and respect others’ ways it’s a key part of growing in faith and relationships.#GodsVillage #LoveLanguages #SelfGrowth #FamilyBoundaries #FaithAndLife #GrowWithGod #2024

How to Break Up with the World

🎙️ Welcome to GodzVillage,Recently went through a breakup and yeah… it was ghetto 😭But God used it to show me something deeper.Sometimes God isn’t just calling you to break up with a person; He’s calling you to break up with the flesh and the world. If you chase fleshly desires, you will get hurt.Peace is found hiding in God, not in emotions or the flesh.Jesus BEEN through heartbreak. Yet He had the biggest one.Rejected, disrespected, and abused by the world He helped create, and Jesus still chose to love and die for us.God reminded me:“I didn’t create you to hate people. I created you to love.”Breaking off from the world looks like:• asking, “Is this pulling me closer to God or further away?”• checking if something is building me or draining me• noticing when I’m losing myself just to keep somethingIf it’s from God, it adds to and grows you.If it’s from the enemy, it steals, kills, and destroys quietly. What helped me:1️⃣ Write down your values2️⃣ Ask: Am I losing myself or growing in God?3️⃣ Get godly counsel, don’t isolate4️⃣ Let yourself be poured into5️⃣ Set boundaries (know your weak points)6️⃣ Let go fully, not halfway, and choose peaceYou don’t realize how trapped you are until you try to leave.Freedom comes when you trust God with what you’re releasing.God loves you. He’s here to heal and build with you, NOT deteriorate you.Let the Holy Spirit guide you 🤍Stay safe out here.#GodsVillage #FaithWalk #BreakingFromTheWorld #ChristianHealing #SpiritualGrowth📲 Follow GodzVillage:IG: GodzvillageFB: GodsVillage KaylaTikTok: Godsvillagerec dec. 27'2025

✨Matthew 12: Healing on the Sabbath ✝️ (working on vacation)

Hey fam! Today, I want to break down Matthew 12:9-14, where Jesus heals a man with a shriveled hand on the Sabbath.💡 Takeaways:Step into uncomfortable places: Jesus went where He wasn’t wanted to save others. 🏛️Do good anytime: It’s lawful to help, not just follow rules. 🙌Full restoration: God restores fully physically, emotionally, and spiritually. 🖐️💛Heart over law: Generosity and genuine love matter more than blind rule-following. ❤️💬 Reflection:God notices us, knows us by name, and loves us even in our struggles. Our obedience should come from genuine love, not blind rule-following. God’s generosity isn’t bound by religion or time it pours out anytime, anywhere. 🌟🍞Final Thought:Step into the uncomfortable. Do good, genuinely. Trust God to restore FULLY. His love and mercy go beyond rules.#GodsVillage #FaithInAction #Matthew12 #TrustGod #ObedienceWithHeart #ChristianGrowth

    john 11 (2023)

I dug into John 11 and how truth and Jesus’ work can stir up fear, politics, and even plans to shut things down.🧠 Quick OverviewI was reading John 11 (the part around Jesus and the crowd) and got stuck on how the leaders reacted, scared that Jesus’ influence would unite people and bring the Romans down on them. Their solution? Better one man die than the whole nation be destroyed.📖 What Hit MeThe Jewish leaders weren’t just spiritual; they were political. Jesus’ growing ministry threatened the status quo, so they chose control over truth. That fear-led decision eventually led them to plot Jesus’ death and to push Him out of public ministry for a season. It reminded me that when God moves, systems that profit from fear and control often resist. Truth disrupts comfort.🌟 Main PointsTruth + influence = threat to corrupt systems.Leaders feared external consequences (Rome) and preferred a painful compromise.Jesus’ ministry had a unifying purpose more than national; it was global (bringing scattered children of God together). When truth grows, expect resistance. But the truth is worth it.💬 Real TalkThis passage challenged me: Are we protecting comfort or advancing truth? Sometimes safety feels practical, but it can also be a cover for compromise. Jesus showed love and unity; some chose fear and control.💡 TakeawayWhen God moves in a big way, don’t be surprised if people try to silence it. Keep standing for truth even when it’s risky. God’s purpose is bigger than short-term safety.🎧 Tune in, reflect, and ask: Am I on the side of truth or fear?#GodsVillage #John11 #TruthOverComfort #liveForJesus #FaithOverFear

    Down faults to Comparison

🎙️ Relationships, Family, & God’s TimingWelcome back to GodzVillage! 2024 I had a couple of real talks from conversations at work, with family, and with friends that had me reflecting on relationships, love, and God’s timing.💬 Relationships & CompromiseAt work the guys were talking, and what I took away was this: every relationship is different. Comparing yours to someone else’s will break it. Compromise is part of it, but it has to be rooted in shared morals, priorities, and God’s guidance not just desire.💖 Waiting on God’s TimingI realized I can’t rush what God is building. I want love fast, but God is working on me and on the person He has for me. If we meet too early, broken and unready, it won’t work. Trusting His timing brings peace even if I’m impatient.👩‍👧 Family & InfluenceA family convo hit me too: how neglect in childhood can make us over-give in adulthood, sometimes scaring people away. Family impacts everythingggg too much or too little love still leaves marks. And honestly, part of my journey is learning to break cycles. People joke I should be more like my mom—but truth is, I’m working hard to grow different. Taking her resilience, but choosing a more nurturing, Christ-led path.🌟 ReflectionRelationships—romantic or family—are deeply shaped by God, timing, and healing. The lesson? Don’t rush. Don’t compare. And don’t let broken patterns decide your future. God is writing something better.🙏 Final ThoughtLove God’s way takes patience. Whether it’s waiting for a partner or breaking family cycles, trust His timing and His design.#GodsVillage #FaithInRelationships #GodsTiming #FamilyImpact #BreakingCycles

Above All Else Kill Arrogance (book of Numbers)

Hey Villagers 👋🏽 welcome back to GodzVillage!🙏🏽 Quick prayer:“God, thank You for being the one true King. Keep us close, humbled, and aligned with You. Cover this episode in Jesus’ name, amen.”📖 In Numbers, God shows us that arrogance doesn’t just block blessings — it delays the whole journey.🔹 Miriam & Aaron questioned Moses out of jealousy → consequences.🔹 Balaam was so blinded by greed he argued with a DONKEY instead of seeing God’s warning 😭🔹 Israel complained about Egypt so much that even God’s blessings became judgment. The whole point?Pride blinds. Gratitude restores. Obedience protects.Ask yourself:➡️ What are you craving? Is it pulling you closer to God or further away?Stay humble. Stay teachable. This is something that cannot be ignored and was brought up for discussion.Disclaimer:I am not a licensed psychologist, therapist, or pastor. I’m simply a Child of God sharing advice God gave me through His Word, which helped pull me out of the rot and fight the enemy’s lies with Scripture. So, eat the meat and spit out the bones. Examine what’s shared, keep what helps you, and leave what doesn’t.I pray you’re encouraged today and reminded of God’s deep love for you. Amen 🤍Part 1🧠 There’s a battle over your mind.If a thought tells you:• you’re worthless• you don’t belong• God forgot youThat is not God; that’s the enemy projecting his lies.⚠️ The enemy projects lies🛡️ God protects with truth.📖 Jesus Understands Distress (Matthew 26:36–44)Jesus was distressed and honest with God.What did He do?• He reached out to others• He prayed repeatedly• He surrendered to God’s willJesus didn’t isolate. He prayed and stayed connected.🛡️ Spiritual Weapons God Gives Us• Armor of God (Ephesians 6:10–18)• Beatitudes (Matthew 5:3–12)• Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22–23)• Gifts of the Spirit (Body) (1 Corinthians 12:7–11)• Gifts of the Spirit (Personal) (Romans 12)🔥 The 3 Temptations(Jesus shows us how to fight with Scripture)1️⃣ Lust of the flesh (turn stone to bread)→ “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.”2️⃣ Pride (jump off the cliff)→ “Do not put the Lord your God to the test.”3️⃣ Power & control (bow to Satan)→ “Worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only.”Same tactics the enemy uses today.✨ What Helped Me Practically• Ask: Is this pulling me closer to God or further away?• Don’t isolate! 💸Trusting God with Money🙏

🎙️ Hey y’all, Kayla here! I wanna share a testimony from November 6.Lately, the Lord put it on my heart to stop working and focus on school and myself. I was wrestling with Him over money, groceries, parking tickets, phone bill all that stress 😅. I trust God with food, shelter, life… but money? That’s where I struggle.✨ That day, I read Corrie ten Boom’s Don’t Wrestle, Just Nestle, chapter 5 on fear. It hit me: fear, doubt, worry = not trusting God. Distrusting Him is disobedience. Boom. 💥I went to Chi Alpha worship, feeling scared and unsure. During worship, I surrendered my money to Him, confessed my fear, and prayed to trust God fully 💖.Then… the Lord blessed me unexpectedly. A free pass to a Chi Alpha event literally dropped in my lap 🍫🙌. I cried (low-key the Lord’s crybaby over here 😭) and experienced His care in such a personal way.💬 Reflection:God sees our struggles, even the money stuff. He meets us where we are. Trusting Him isn’t instant it’s a process but He always provides in His timing.💡 Final Thought:Stop wrestling, start trusting. God cares about the little and the big things.🎧 jump- Range the Artist#GodsVillage #FaithAndFinance #TrustGod #Overcomer #ChristianGrowth

    Random

There are a lot of viewpoints on death and how a Christian should handle it, but as Jesus said, “Let the dead bury the dead” (Luke 9:60). I agree. For me, it’s mistakenly comes off as I don’t care. When death occurs, I don’t feel upset if since i've made time and bonded with the person prior I was able to speak with them laugh with them. Eat with them visit them. I made effort to interact and show love❤️.So when the time comes, I don’t feel like I lost anything. If I haven’t done that, i can understand the devastating feeling of losing someone. all that to say the need to appreciate people is now. We all have an limited time pm this earth. the enemy is wicked, the enemy is real, and people often don’t care 😔. but as believers, we are supposed to show love genuine care before the death not after#GodsVillage #FaithPerspective #LiveWithLove #AppreciatePeople #Luke960 #TimeIsPrecious #ChristianGrowth #StayWoke

    Semi-adult

🎙️ Semi-Adulting & Family BoundariesWelcome back to God’s Village —> Kayla here. Today’s quick episode: being seen as an adult but still treated like a kid by family (2023). Real talk on learning to hold your peace, keep your heart, and still show up in love.🧠 Quick Overview: Growing up as a “sorta adult” is weird: you get adult responsibilities, but you don’t always get the adult respect. That mismatch used to make me angry; now I’m learning how to respond differently.🧐 Key Questions to Sit With:Are you obeying to keep the peace or because it’s the right thing to do?How do you set boundaries without burning bridges? When do you speak up, and when do you stay calm?🌟 Main PointsFamily sometimes treats you like a child even when you’re doing adult things.Fighting every slight will only wear you out. Choose your battles.Learning to be calm and collected is a strength, not a weakness.Different groups need different energy: family, friends, coworkers know how to adjust without losing yourself.💬 Real Talk: I used to blow up when adults dismissed me. Now I’m practicing quiet compliance when it’s healthy, and clear boundaries when it’s needed. I still feel it: hurt, frustration, but I’m learning to respond with grace instead of anger.💡 TakeawayBeing semi-adult means you’re growing. You’ll mess up. You’ll get misunderstood. Keep choosing peace, reinforce healthy boundaries, and let God shape your reactions.🎧 Tune in, learn to guard your heart, and keep growing.#GodsVillage #GodzVillageK #SemiAdult #GodlyBoundaries #Boundaries #GodlyBoundariesWithGrace #FamilyDynamics #GrowthJourney

    🎙️ Faith, Healing & Obedience (John 4–6) ✝️

Welcome back to GodZVillage!Today we’re talking miracles, mindset, and movement all through John 4–6. 🙌💧 Faith from AfarBefore the healing at the pool, Jesus already revealed His power first to the Samaritan woman at the well, and then to the official whose son He healed without even being there. That’s the kind of faith we need trusting God’s word before the results show up.🏊‍♀️ The Pool of BethesdaThis pool was known for superstition people believed the water healed them. But Jesus showed the real healing wasn’t in the pool… it was in Him. Many of us still run to old habits, “lucky charms,” or distractions instead of God when we’re hurting. But you can’t find freedom where faith isn’t present.🧠 What’s Your Mindset? The man had been waiting 38 years. Jesus asked, “Do you want to be healed?” not because He didn’t know, but to test his will. Sometimes we say we want healing, but we don’t want to move. You can’t walk in new life holding on to an old mindset.🔥 Instant Healing, Real WarningJesus said, “Pick up your mat and walk.” Instantly, the man was healed. But later, Jesus found him again and said, “Stop sinning or something worse may happen.” God’s healing isn’t just physical — it’s spiritual. He frees us so we don’t go back to what broke us.🍞 Faith After the MiracleThen in John 6, Jesus feeds the multitudes with 5 loaves and 2 fish showing the disciples that faith is about trust, not sight. The same God who healed then still multiplies now.💖 Final Thought:Don’t wait for perfect timing. When God says move move. Healing isn’t the end, it’s the beginning. Walk in it, protect it, and give Him glory through it.#GodsVillage #FaithAndHealing #John4to6 #WalkInFaith #JesusHeals #MindsetShift #GodzVillageK #MiraclesStillHappen

You know when to fight, when to stay calm, and when to hold yourself with meekness. Both roles require balance and character strong, yet thoughtful, assertive, yet humble.? Epiphany in church: start saying yes to church and your spiritual family more, even if it means saying no to your immediate family sometimes. Godly community gives love freely, without negotiation or expectation ❤️. That peace and genuine care reminded me how God wants us to surround ourselves with people who genuinely support us.Jesus teaches us both roles, showing that strength and love go hand in hand 🌱.#GodsVillage #JesusModel #FaithGrowth #LearnFromJesus #StrengthAndLove #SpiritualFamily #ChurchLife #GrowWithGod

Finding Christ: From Parties to Preaching the Gospel (Shanna's Testimony))

🥰 Hey Villagers, Meet Shanna! 💐Shanna’s life has been marked by God’s hand. Growing up in church, she gave her life to Christ (Baptized) at 10 years oldAt 16, she survived a brutal attack that doctors said would leave her paralyzed and unable to speak. Yet God said otherwise. 🙌 Today, she walks, talks, and testifies a living miracle of God’s healing power. 💖Through true forgiveness of the man who hurt her and Shanna learned that having faith is powerful. Shanna is proof that God restores what was meant for destruction.Even when Shanna drifted into the world drinking, smoking, and running from her purpose, God’s call never left her. One night, intoxicated, she found herself preaching mid-party then realizing:“This isn’t my life. God has a plan and a purpose for me.” 🌿🙏 Thank you @faithfulblossom_s for sharing your powerful story and reminding us that being a believer doesn’t mean perfection it means persistence, grace, and growth.✨ “I’m not supposed to be here, but I am because of God.” Check out Shanna's full testimony on YouTube 🎥: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X7GK2dKbkBo#GodsVillage #MiracleStory #FaithOverFear #HealedByGrace #ForgivenAndFree #GodzVillageK #Testimony #WalkingMiracle

    From self-doubt to self-worth in Christ! 🙌 (Shakyra's Testimony)

🥰 Meet Shakyra 😸From self-doubt to self-worth in Christ! 🙌Growing up, Shakyra struggled to see her beauty or feel loved. 💔 Bullied and searching for validation, she turned to the wrong places—relationships, addiction, and broken cycles that only left her feeling emptier. Then one day, while scrolling social media, she heard about having a relationship with Christ… and everything changed. ✝️Even without growing up in church, God met her right where she was. Through surrender, prayer, and His Word, she found her true purpose:“I was created to know Him—not to be in relationships, but to be in a relationship with Him.” 💞God led her to @churchcityusa, where her faith grew, her heart healed, and she found a community rooted in Christ. 🌿In 2022, Shakyra dedicated her life to Christ. In 2023, she got baptized 💧 and now walks boldly in love and purpose, reminding us that God’s love redeems, restores, and defines our worth. 💖#GodsVillage #FaithJourney #FromBrokenToWhole #RedeemedByGrace #JesusRestores #GodzVillageK #Testimony #ChristOverValidation #SelfLoveThroughChrist

✨ From Culture Clash to Christ (Simone’s Testimony) 🙌🏽

🌿 Hey Villagerzz👋🏽 Meet Simone!!! 😁aka “The Ultimate Social Worker” 💼✨Growing up in a Caribbean household 🇯🇲 as a first-generation American, Simone struggled to balance both cultures. For a while, God was more of a back-burner thought than a personal relationship. Though she knew of Him, she didn’t yet know Him.💔 It wasn’t until Simone found herself in a toxic relationship that she realized there had to be more to life. In that season of searching, God began to move. A CHH Workshop at her job opened the door to an invitation to church. Though hesitant to go, months later, a coworker invited her to a baptism and it turned out to be the same exact church! 🙌There, Simone finally found peace, community, and the unconditional love of God. 💒 She began learning what it meant to truly walk with Christ, apply His Word, and grow in faith even launching and sustaining her nonprofit through God's guidance called Resilent Young Minds Inc. 🌱In 2019, Simone was baptized and now lives boldly for the Lord a true example of faith, resilience, and restoration. 💖🙏 Thank you, @iamtheusw, for sharing your testimony and reminding us not to stay grounded in the wrong things, but to always seek God first.Pleaseee check out Simone on TEDx Talk: We Need More Space for Trauma Storytelling | Simone Muschett | TEDxStamford#GodsVillage #FaithJourney #GodzVillageK #FromBrokennessToFaith #SeekHimFirst #PurposeInChrist #Testimony #CaribbeanFaith #JesusTransforms #ResilientFaith

😎 Meet Christian 🙇Another Christian who’s a Christian (Crazy!!!) 🤯Christian came to Christ after heartbreak. 🥰 Hi EVERYONEE meet Valerie! 😆Welcome to Godsvillage,Valerie’s journey to Christ started with a simple invite from a friend to church, and that moment changed everything. From there, her eyes opened to who Jesus truly is. 🌿During COVID, Valerie began learning about Christ for herself, reading the Bible, watching faith content on TikTok, and connecting with godly friends who helped her grow. 🙏But like many of us, distractions came. A relationship began pulling her away from God… Yet God's love and calling for Valerie were stronger. Valerie found the strength to walk away, realign with Christ, and rebuild her faith. 💪From ages 12 to 16, Valerie’s faith had highs and lows, but at 16, Valerie rededicated her life to God and got baptized, walking boldly with God ever since. ✝️💖 Thank you @iiaamvalerie for reminding us what perseverance in faith looks like, staying close to God, no matter the cost!#GodsVillage #Testimony #FaithJourney #GodzVillageK #Perseverance #Redemption #WalkWithGod #JesusHeals

💪 Healing on the Sabbath: When God Calls You into Trouble

🌟 Hiiii Villagers! 😆Today we’re diving into Matthew 12:9–14, where Jesus heals a man with a shriveled hand on the Sabbath. The Pharisees tried to trap Him, but Jesus showed us that doing good will always outweigh following empty rules. This story reminds us that obedience to God often means walking into uncomfortable spaces with compassion and courage.🧐 Key Questions:Are you avoiding the hard places God is calling you into?Do you help others from love or from obligation? Are you focused on following rules or following Christ’s heart?🌟 Main Points: Go Where God Sends You: Jesus went into the synagogue — a place where He wasn’t welcomed — to bring healing. Sometimes God sends us into trouble to bring peace. (Matt. 12:9) God Notices You: Before the man spoke, Jesus noticed him. God sees your pain, knows your story, and still chooses you. (Matt. 12:10) It’s Lawful to Do Good: Jesus reminded the Pharisees that people matter more than rituals. Doing good is always right in God’s eyes. (Matt. 12:12) Stretch Out Your Hand: The man obeyed and was completely healed. When we trust God, He restores what was once broken — fully and beautifully. (Matt. 12:13)Don’t Let Conviction Turn to Rebellion: The Pharisees plotted against Jesus instead of learning from Him. Don’t reject conviction — let it shape your heart. (Matt. 12:14)Be Genuine, Not Just Obedient: God desires mercy, not sacrifice. Real faith isn’t about looking holy — it’s about loving others with a pure heart. (Hosea 6:6)💡 Final Thought: When Jesus restores, He makes things whole again your heart, your peace, your purpose. Don’t hide what He already sees. Stretch out your hand and let God show His glory through your healing. 🙏Stay faithful, fearless, and focused, Villagers! 💖Tune into: The Promised Land #GodsVillage #BibleStudy #Matthew12 #FaithOverFear #DoGoodAlways #JesusHeals #Restoration #ChristianPodcast #WalkByFaith #RepetanceOverReligion

🎙️ Kayla’s Testimony: Finding God in the Quiet ❤️

Welcome to GodZVillage! I’m Kayla, and this is my testimony (finally I knowww)!I grew up in a divorced household. One side full of family and community, while the other was quiet and sometimes lonely.Little time in Sunday school was my first exposure to God, but I didn’t really know how to follow Him. Middle school brought anime and webtoons I probably shouldn’t have watched. Later, a friends invitation to a Christian concert introduced me to Christ in a new way.High school was hard. Moving from Brooklyn to Long Island left me homesick, lonely, and struggling with seasonal depression. Parties, drinking, and edibles didn’t fill the void. God kept me through suicidal thoughts and emptiness 💔.Seeds of faith were planted by friends (shoutout Michael & Catherine), cousins (Izzy & Jacool), and my Tati’s guidance (Yovena & Yanick). During COVID, Daniel, my essay advisor, encouraged me toward Jesus every chance he got. Then I had a final crashout between my family and me was tired of everything and said to myself, let me try this Jesus everyone is talking about. I downloaded the Bible app, called my cousin for guidance. In 2021, I said yes to Jesus 🙏. Soon after, I found the Christian rapper I saw at the concert; now learning he is a pastor! I watched his sermons online, joined a youth Bible study, and started seeking God for myself. I joined New Believers Class, learned about baptism, and realized God cares about your heart, not just knowledge. In 2022, I got baptized 💧 and have been growing ever since, staying grounded in purity, purpose, and peace ✨.My story may not be wild or sound a bit boring. But I pray my story reminds someone that Jesus saves anyone at any time and is waiting for you to accept Him ❤️🎧 “Kayla’s Testimony”#GodsVillage #FaithJourney #RealStories #JesusSaves #myTestimony #faithtober #Testimonies #webtoons #divorce

    Angels in my squad

🌟 Angels are Part of God’s Team ✝️Angels are part of God’s team it’s crazy how some people don’t even notice that! 😲 They help us and carry God’s power, and though God can handle everything on His own, He uses angels to make things easier and help us feel more comfortable.💡 Angels aren’t just helpers they also reflect God’s leadership. Unlike a dictator who only cares about themselves , God’s team wants everyone to grow and level up together. That’s such a powerful reminder of His love and care.🙏🏾Respect the leader, God, and notice the difference between Him and the enemy. One lifts everyone up, the other only serves themselves. Do NOT Compromise

its not worth it 🌱 Don’t Stomp Your Growth, Villagerz 🚫Do NOT compromise your friends, family, or fun work studies at the cost of your SALVATION. If it pulls you away from God, it was never a gift from Heaven. 🙏🏽 Compromising only pushes you back instead of forward.💡 : I once compromised my comfort instead of getting something done and iitcosted me and reminded me why staying true to God is everything. If someone or something in your life is not pointing you to Him, but instead pulling u away. It’s time tto reconsider. Oops I come off rude

🌍 This is real life.Hi Villagers 👋🏽NGL I come of cold id not rude when hurt. God’s been teaching me to have grace and still move like Jesus, even in an imperfect world with imperfect people… including me. 🙏🏽That day I had some issues with family, friends whaterver and I had to walk in forgiveness. Not just set a boundary, but reinforce it while still enjoying life. Adulting is hard, but that’s part of the life. Learning to know when to separate personal struggles and still enjoy the life God gave you.💭 Walking as a Christian isn’t always easy, but it’s always better when you choose to act more like Jesus. God Sovereignty over people's loyalty & comfort

So what had happened was…Welcome back Villagerzz!!!!🙌🏽 [ conviction story] Romans 1:16 I am not ashamed of the gospelI was watching a video about Conviction and Sin as a Christian at max volume. And people started to crowd around me, and I was like, oh, let me put the volume down Then God convict me and said, Why? Are you putting the volume down for their convenience? The word of God needs to be said/heard loud n clear, regardless. Why are you shutting down your Christianity for the comfort of no believers? And I said, God, wow didn't have to hit me that hard cuz That stung but I had to say, “Amen, thank You, God.” 🙏🏽 cuz faxxs. So I left the volume the way that it was made me a little uncomfortable not sure if anybody was listening, but I pray God work through them and learned the same things I did. 💭 Reminder: Never mute your Christianity for someone else’s comfort. If the Word stirs the room, let it stir.

    Community

✨Welcome to GodzVillage✨Today (2024), I’m breaking down something that hit me while reading 1 Samuel 16: 14 and it had me confused. It said God “sent” an evil spirit, and I was like nah, that ain't right. Our God don’t move like that.👥 Community MattersThat’s why having a church fam is so key. My leader helped me see it wasn’t that God caused the spirit, He *allowed* it. When people keep denying Him, their own hearts harden. Same with Pharaoh, God showed Himself over and over, but Pharaoh kept rejecting Him.⚡ God Allows, Not CausesIf you keep shutting God out, your heart will lock itself up. And when His Spirit withdraws, like with Saul, you’re wide open for the enemy to step in. *Cough**Cough**Habakkuk* free will🛡️ Covering of ChristHere’s the Good News: once you’re in Christ, His Spirit stays with you. Salvation means protection. You don’t have to fear being left uncovered. For Jesus died for us and gave us the Holy Spirit! Amen its up to us to stick with God day in and day out!💭 ThoughtGods absence leaves evil. 🎙️Handling Money + Friends (Interview #1 Alicia) 💙

🎙️Welcome to GodsVillage!💙 In today’s episode, we have a special guest! I sat down with Alicia and picked her brain about handling money and people and she dropped some gemssss.💵 Money & Faith Alicia isn’t rich YET, but she trusts that God will come through throughout the process. She fully trusts God to supply and knows her efforts are not in vain.“Even when it looks like there’s no way, He always makes a way.”💗 People & Patience Alicia has grown in grace and patience since her walk, especially when folks are hard to deal with. But she always tries to keep Scripture in mind, even when it’s tough.“Love your enemies” isn’t just a verse—it’s real life.🧠 Reflection Talking with Alicia made me realize that how you treat money and people really shows your walk with God. If you’re reckless with one, chances are you’re reckless with the other. They both need intentional care.“You can’t avoid money or people, but you can choose to manage both with God in mind.”💖 Final Thought: How we handle what’s in our hands reveals what’s in our hearts. Making Godly Decison Pt. 1

🌟Howdy Villagers!🤠What are you led by?Today, we’re diving into the book of Nehemiah and the importance of being God-led in our decisions. Are we listening to God’s direction or just following personal desires?🙏🏾 Opening Prayer: We ask God to guide our decisions, remove distractions, and help us walk in His purpose, not ours.🧐 Key Questions:What influences your decisions—faith or feelings? How do you separate God’s will from personal choices? Are you staying focused or letting distractions pull you away from God’s work?🌟 Main Points:Be Spirit-Led: Seek God’s people, sacred places, and His timing. (1 Sam 9:9-12)Have a Heart for God’s Work: Nehemiah took responsibility without being asked. (Neh. 1:4)God Uses People to Help You: The king was moved to assist Nehemiah. (Neh. 2:4)Ignore Distractions & Stay Focused: Nehemiah refused to stop the work for nonsense and stayed foucs. (Neh. 6:3)Discern the Enemy’s Tactics: The goal is always to discourage and distract, but persistence keeps us strong. (Neh. 6:9)Guard Your Gates: Protect your space, mind, and spirit—what you watch, listen to, and allow in matters. (Neh. 13:22)💡 Final Thought:Prayer is a powerful tool when making decisions. Even in the busyness of life, we must remain in Christ and yearn for his commands. Through our walk, we are able to make Christ-like decisions since we are learn and growing in his character. Amen🙏Stay faithful, focused, and determined. Walk upright with God 📖 Memory Verse: Matthew 17:20-21 "You don’t have enough faith,” Jesus told them. “I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. 🎙️Welcome to GodsVillage!💛 In today’s episode, we’re joined by Journee, and whewww she brought a whole new lens to how we handle money and people. Let’s dig in.💵 Money & Trust Journee keeps it real, we're young and still figuring things out, but one thing Journee knows trusting God is key. She’s learning that her money isn’t just for her, but it can be used for Kingdom things like giving to friends in need, sowing into church, and breaking patterns of selfishness.“I don’t really think of money as something I’m hesitant to give anymore… I’ve seen how God uses it to build relationships.”💗 People & Love When you start seeing people through God’s eyes, everything changes. Journee shared how God’s love has helped her support others and fellowship through money.🧠 Reflection: Talking with Journee reminded me how money and people aren’t separate, how we treat one often shows how we treat the other. Both are tied to our faith and trust in God.“If you believe first, your actions will follow. Faith shows up in how you love and how you give.”💖 Final Thought: At the end of the day, how we handle people, and money reflects how we handle our faith walk in believing God. Talk + Act as if Jesus is next to you (which He ALWAYS is!!)

🕊️ What's Your Response Like? ✝️A Jesus Check-In 💭Ever catch yourself reacting to people and immediately thinking, “Jesus would never treat me like that”? 🙃 That moment right there—it hits.In today’s short reflection, I talk about a habit I’ve been working on:✋🏾 Pausing before I respond and imagining I’m talking to Jesus instead of the person in front of me.Why?Because Jesus wouldn’t snap, wouldn’t belittle, wouldn’t guilt-trip. He would listen, guide, and love.💭 Real Talk:I have trouble with this too—it’s hard to self check-in, especially when emotions are high. I haven’t perfected it, but that shouldn’t be an excuse to opt out. Growth starts with effort.💡Heart Check Reminder:What if we practiced speaking to others like we were speaking to Jesus Himself? How would that change the way we argue, correct, or even just respond? What would it look like if grace led our tone—not just our beliefs?🛠️ It’s hard, it’s messy, and it’s definitely a practice… but it’s one worth showing up for daily.🎧 Also, check out: @thebibleshowpodcast — packed with amazing reflections and spiritual gems. Monster House

🎬 Hey Villagers! ✨Let's Talk Trauma, Loneliness & Monster House? 🏚️Excuse the scattered summary and thoughts hehe—tried to download the remaining memory (Oct ‘24) 😅 but whew… I had to talk about this one. I rewatched Monster House and God gave me a whole new lens. Not just a movie this time—a message.🧠 What Stood Out?The woman in the house was never able to heal from her trauma… and it literally consumed her.Her husband became cold and mean—not because he was a bad person, but because of what he thought he had to become to hold on to love.He trapped himself in that haunted house for 45 years just to avoid being alone. 💔The real monster? Unprocessed trauma. Insecurity. Fear of loneliness.🔥 Reflections:Unhealed pain doesn’t disappear—it multiplies.Loneliness can drive you into things that slowly destroy you.You can end up living in ruins just to protect broken memories. What you allow into your life when you don’t feel worthy—good or bad—reveals what you think you deserve.👧🏾 Surprise Redemption? It was the kids—pure-hearted and bold—who helped free him. Even when he seemed mean and scary, they didn’t give up. Just a reminder that sometimes the help God sends doesn’t look how you expect… and sometimes, YOU are the help someone else needs.💬 Final Thought:Watch what you carry and what you refuse to heal. Are you stuck in something toxic just to avoid being alone? Remember: Unhealed pain doesn’t protect you. It haunts you. Let God rebuild your house… before the cracks destroy it. FOMG (Fear of Missing God)

🎙️ Again, I sayyy Hii Villagers! 🙌🏽 Let’s Talk Loyalty, Mindset Shifts & God First LivingLife’s been life-ing—but God’s been shifting my focus. In this quick recap, I’m sharing some personal heart checks and spiritual growth moments that reminded me to be more loyal to God than people.🧐 Key Reflections:Are we more committed to people’s opinions than God’s presence? Is our fear of missing out bigger than our fear of missing what God’s doing? Are we keeping things in our life that God’s been trying to remove?🌟 Main Points:God Deserves the Throne: When people become the center, God takes a back seat. We’ve got to shift that.FOMO Turned Holy: No longer fearing missing out on events or people—I fear missing God’s move.Spiritual Surgery Analogy: Like wisdom teeth, some things need to be removed before they infect. Don’t wait until it hurts to let go.God Doesn’t Need Us to Impress Him: Nothing we do makes Him “more God”—but He still chooses to be near us. That’s love.Refocus & Isolate (With Purpose): Sometimes, pulling back is the reset we need to put God first again.💭 Personal Note:I can attest to this—there have been moments where I wanted to go on excursions with friends and family, but deep down, I knew God was calling me into a space of healing. And truthfully? Every time I chose them over Him, it cost me peace. Ask yourself: Is it worth justifying your desires if they go against His plan?💬 Final Thought:Choosing God over comfort, opinions, and people is hard—but worth it. Let’s stop delaying what needs to be surrendered. Take out the thorn. Don’t miss out on God. 🙏🏽🎥 Media Tip:Check out VidAngel—a great tool for censoring movies and shows! How u think matters

🎙️ What’s Up, Villagers! 💭 Let’s Talk Labels, Grace & Growth 🌱:Ever notice how the label we put on someone changes how we treat them? Whether it’s a coworker, friend, or even yourself—our assumptions can impact how we show love, support, and patience. And let’s be real: sometimes we’re quick to dismiss others before giving them the space to grow.🧐 Key Questions:How are your assumptions affecting how you treat people? Are you speaking life into others—or writing them off?Do your thoughts match how Christ sees them?🌟 Main Points:Labels Limit Growth: The way you see someone can shape how you treat them. If you expect the worst, you’ll respond with frustration—not grace.Grace Changes the Atmosphere: One encouraging word can shift someone’s entire mindset. Speak life.God’s Creation Deserves Care: Everyone’s made in God’s image—so treat them like they matter, even if they’re not “perfect.”Speak It, Even If You Haven’t Mastered It: You don’t have to have it all figured out to pass on truth. God’s still working on all of us.Call Out the Good: Instead of assuming the worst, leave room for God to do His thing in people—even if you can’t see it yet.💬 Final Thought:Don’t let your assumptions cancel someone’s opportunity to grow. We’re all still learning, still healing, still becoming. Give others the same grace you’d want.📌 Shoutout to @itsevanvazquez for helping point out what foolish perspective we need to check #GodsVillage #GodzVillageK #SpeakLife #LabelsLimitLove #GraceOverJudgment #GrowthMindset #FaithInPeople #CheckYourPerspective

Navigating Love (wayy over due wrap up HTL)

🎉 You Made It, Villagers! 🙌🏽Welcome to the Finale about Love 💖Whew—we’ve reached the end of the season! It dragged, it stretched us, but we finished. And through it all, we’ve been learning how to love like Christ, how not to love like the world, and how to grow through our roles, relationships, and responsibilities.🗣️ “Before the world acknowledged you, God loved you.”🕊️ Let’s Recap What We Learned:🧡 How to Love (God’s Way):Parenting Like Hannah & Mordecai: Guide with grace and discipline. Balance emotion with purpose.Family Like Jonathan: Choose love and peace, even when family brings conflict.Friendship Like Jonathan & David: Build godly connections that uplift, protect, and love deeply.Spiritual Accountability: Mordecai checked Esther and called her to her role—sometimes love means speaking truth.Your Relationship with God: The most important one. Let God be your friend, your father, and your daily guide.Loving Yourself: See yourself through God’s eyes. You’re not perfect—and that’s the point. He grows us.Loving Through Responsibility: Whether you’re a prophet like Samuel, a wife like Abigail, or a leader like Saul (hopefully not in his bad moments)—do the job God gave you with integrity and heart.💔 How Not to Love:Saul & Haman: Letting insecurity, pride, and power poison their hearts.Selfishness & Heartlessness: Don’t let “it’s not my problem” keep you from being part of God’s plan.Manipulation Isn’t Love: You don’t need to lie, perform, or boast to prove yourself.Avoid Boasting & Bitterness: When reality checks hit, don’t break—grow. Saul and Haman couldn’t handle being challenged. Let’s not be like them.📖 Bonus Gems:God doesn’t bless a bitter heart.Jesus never shut Himself off—He engaged with love, even in difference.Your “I don’t do that” shouldn't come off as “I don’t do YOU.”Being holy isn’t being heartless.Sometimes we’re the only Bible someone will ever read—what message are you showing?🙏🏽 Final Thought:Being loved by God means we’re called to be love to others. Let go of bitterness, pride, and selfishness. Spread grace. Spread truth. Spread love. 💫📖 Scriptures Used: 1 Samuel, Esther, NIV & NLT versions.🎧 Next Season? Who knows?! But we’ll keep walking with God and growing together.#GodsVillage #GodzVillageK #LoveLikeChrist #LetGoOfPride #HolyNotHeartless #GodlyFriendship #GrowWithGod #BibleWisdom #SpreadLoveNotHate('24)

Set Apart, Not Shut Off (Project Christianity)

Grace Check, Villagers! 🙏🏽✨ Let’s Talk Holiness Without IsolationEver had one of those moments where God uses a show, convo, or just a quiet thought to call you out lovingly? Yeah… that happened. While watching something I probably shouldn’t have, I saw a character who stood out—not because she was holy, but because she had completely shut herself off from everyone around her in the name of being “Christian.” And in that moment, I saw a bit of myself.🧐 Key Reflections:Am I representing Christ or hiding behind my Christian identity? Can I be set apart without being shut off?Is my “difference” drawing people closer or pushing them away?🌟 Main Points:Holiness Isn’t Isolation: Jesus never distanced Himself from sinners. He met people where they were—with love, not judgment.Don’t Weaponize Your Values: You can protect your standards without coming off cold or “above” others.Engage Without Compromise: Being present at gatherings doesn’t mean you’re partaking in everything. It means you’re available to shine. You Might Be the Only “Jesus” People See: So don’t block your light with pride or discomfort. Let your presence reflect peace.Connection Builds Trust: We lose opportunities to share the gospel when we act like we’re too “clean” to connect.Constructive Criticism Has a Tone: Harsh words push people away. Gentle truth helps them grow.💬 Final Thought:Being a believer doesn’t mean locking yourself in a room while the world spins. It means walking like Jesus—present, gracious, loving, and still firm in truth. Don’t let self-righteousness mask itself as righteousness. You don’t need to lower your light to fit in. But don’t build walls so high that your light can’t reach anyone either.Catch you next time, Villagers. Let’s be real, stay soft, and rep Christ in love. 🕊️#GodsVillage #GodzVillageK #GraceOverJudgment #SetApartNotShutOff #FaithWithLove #WalkLikeJesus #ShineDon’tShutDown #projectchritianity

Purpose Don't Waste Time (boundaries stepping into purpose)

🧠 Quick Thought, Villagers! On Dec’23, God dropped a real one on me:People aren’t shy when it comes to breaking down your walls or taking from you…So why are you shy about setting boundaries? 👀You’re allowed to protect your peace. You’re allowed to say “no.”You’re allowed to guard what God gave you.It made me reflect on how bold people are when taking from you, disrespecting your peace, or crossing lines… yet we often stay quiet and shrink back when it comes to protecting our own space. Now that I know I have purpose and I’m starting to act on it, even the way I spend time feels different. It’s not that I’ve mastered using time wisely, but I’m way more aware of what’s not worth it. Certain things just don’t feel right anymore, because I know I’m made for more.🌟 Main Points:Build Bold Boundaries: Don’t be shy about protecting your heart, space, and peace, especially when others aren’t shy about crossing lines.Recognize Your Purpose: Once you know you’re here for more, it shifts how you move.Use Time Wisely: It’s not about being perfect—but you start to feel the weight of wasting time when you’re walking in purpose.💬 If people can be bold in disrespect, you can be bold in protection.Your time is sacred. Your purpose is serious. Your boundaries are Holy.#GodsVillage #GodzVillageK #QuickThought #ProtectYourPeace #PurposeOverDistraction #TimeIsHolyP.S.Welcome to WISE + WITTY WEDNESDAY (nuggets)Church really helped me get back on praise GodJoin us for a Worship Service at Church City USA, Richard Dauphin
