    In Episode 5 I sat down with Ciaran Mc Ivor. Ciaran was the driving force behind the campaing to secure the Deirdre Gogarty statue that is now standing stall outside Scotch Hall in Drogheda. He also ran a very successful boxing social media channel Boxing Bants. On this episode we talked about his different journeys in life, discovering his ADHD and how he explored the world of medicinal psychedelics that has helped him heal issues from his past and present. It was an amazing episode and I want to thank Ciaran for coming in because it's not easy to open up and let the world into your feelings. Here is a bit of background to Joanna:She is a Sinn Féin Teachta Dála (TD) representing the Louth constituency since the 2024 general election. Born and raised in Drogheda, County Louth, she previously served on Louth County Council from 2016 to 2024. In January 2025, Joanna was appointed to Sinn Féin's front bench as spokesperson on Arts, Sport, Communications, Culture, and Media. She is also the chairperson of Drogheda United F.C. and was elected to the FAI's National League Committee in 2023, becoming the first female chairperson in the League of Ireland.Joanna was a pleasure to chat with and we talked about a range of different things going on in the world and the world of politics at the moment. Since 2007, SOSAD has worked to raise awareness and help prevent suicide in Ireland. We have worked tirelessly in our communities to help those in need feel supported and know they are not alone on their journey. SOSAD offer support and services for people who are struggling with suicidal ideation, self harming, depression, bereavement, stress and anxiety, or if you simply need to talk.
