    Meet Sherry Denise Chaquette Sherry Denise Chaquette was born and raised in Oakland, California, the youngest child of Lacy and Willie Jean Johnson. Grounded in a legacy of faith, Sherry was introduced to Jesus by her beloved grandmother, Emma Givens, and inspired by the faithful commitment of her parents to Christ. She surrendered her life to Jesus at a young age and has continually sought to live a life that honors Him, even through seasons of struggle and redirection. Sherry has been married to her husband, Steve, for 29 years, and they are the proud parents of two young adult children, Amari and Josiah. In January 2019, after the passing of her mother to congestive heart failure and the loss of a childhood friend to cancer, Sherry founded His Hands, His Feet, His Hugs. This heartfelt organization is dedicated to serving and supporting individuals and families who care for their loved ones. In 2024, Sherry resumed her educational journey, pursuing online studies that led to her certification as a Home Health Aide.
