When Life Doesn’t Go the Way You Planned: Trusting God in Unexpected Seasons of Motherhood & Letting Go of Your Timeline

Have you ever looked at your life and thought… this isn’t what I planned? Maybe you thought you were finished having babies, ready for a quieter season of motherhood, or finally moving into the next chapter of life. Then suddenly everything shifted. In this episode, we’re talking about what it looks like to trust God when your plans and His plans don’t seem to line up. If you’re in a season that feels unexpected, overwhelming, or just different than what you imagined, you are not alone. We’re walking through three simple but powerful ways to navigate a season of change: ✨ How to process the emotions that come with unexpected seasons ✨ How to release the timeline you had in mind ✨ How to find peace and trust that God’s plan is still good Key Bible Verses 📖 Proverbs 19:21 (ESV) “Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.” 📖 Isaiah 55:8–9 (ESV) “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” If you're struggling to let go of what you thought this season would look like and trust that God is still writing a beautiful story—you’ll find encouragement here.  🎧 Tune in now to feel seen, encouraged, and reminded you are not alone. 💬 Don’t forget to share this episode with another mama who might need this reminder today.

When Patience Runs Out: Leaning on God During the Meltdowns

Hey mama, this week’s episode of Mama Walks With Jesus is a raw and real one. I’m opening up about something we all struggle with — patience. I’ll be the first to admit that I was not the picture of patience these past two weeks. Between homeschooling, endless questions, and the chaos of family life, I hit my limit. But God used those messy moments to remind me of something powerful: patience isn’t just a virtue — it’s a fruit of the Spirit. In this episode, we’ll talk about: ✨ The difference between worldly patience and biblical patience ✨ Why true patience can only come from the Holy Spirit’s help ✨ How Jesus modeled perfect patience even when surrounded by constant demands ✨ Simple mindset shifts to reflect God’s character when motherhood feels overwhelming ✨ How to “feed your fruit” by nourishing your soul and reconnecting with God in the daily chaos If you’ve ever lost your cool and felt like the worst mom in the world (been there, too), this episode is for you. We’ll dig into scripture, real-life mom moments, and the hope we find in knowing Jesus went before us and gets it. Key Bible Verses: 📖 Psalm 103:8 – “The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in mercy..” Remember, mama — patience isn’t about perfection. It’s about surrendering our will and letting the Holy Spirit work through us, one deep breath at a time. 🎧 Tune in now to feel seen, encouraged, and reminded that you’re not alone. 💬 Don’t forget to share this episode with another mama who might need this reminder today!

Overcoming Mom Guilt Through God’s Grace

Hey Mama, If you’ve ever felt that heavy weight of mom guilt — wondering if you’re doing enough, doing it right, or doing it “like everyone else” — this episode is for you. I open up about my own early motherhood struggles, from breastfeeding challenges to the constant comparison trap, and how I learned to find freedom through God’s grace. In this heartfelt conversation, I  share how to tell the difference between true conviction from God and the guilt that comes from the world’s expectations. You’ll walk away encouraged to release comparison, lean into Christ, and remember that you are already enough through Him. 💫 In This Episode, We’ll Talk About: The real reason so many moms struggle with guilt How to tell if guilt is from the world or from God Bible verses that remind you of God’s grace in motherhood Letting go of comparison and trusting God’s plan for your family Finding peace and purpose in the motherhood season you’re in 📖 Key Scriptures: 2 Corinthians 12:9 – “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Galatians 1:10 – “For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God?” ✨ Listen in and be reminded: You are not alone, Mama. You’re not failing. God’s grace covers every imperfect moment — and He chose you to be your children’s mom on purpose.

When Worry and Anxiety Take Over: Practical Ways to Give Your Fears to God”

Hey Mama, Do you ever feel like worry has become your full-time job? From “what if they get sick” to “what if something happens at school,” motherhood has a way of stirring up fears we never expected. In this episode of Mama Walks With Jesus, I’m opening up about my own struggles with worry and anxiety as a mom — and how God has been gently reminding me to lean on Him instead of letting fear take over. Together we’ll look at two powerful scriptures: Isaiah 41:10 – “Fear not, for I am with you…” 2 Timothy 1:7 – “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.” I’ll share: ✨ The real-life ways fear shows up in motherhood (hello, worst-case scenarios in our heads) ✨ Why Satan loves to use fear to steal our peace and joy ✨ 3 practical things I’ve been doing to fight worry this week: Memorizing and speaking God’s Word Moving my body to process emotions Praying through the “what-ifs” instead of holding onto them If you’ve ever felt consumed by mom anxiety or struggled with constant “what if” thoughts, this episode will remind you that you’re not alone. More importantly, it will point you back to the One who holds you, your children, and your future in His hands. Listen in and be encouraged: God has not called us to live in fear — He’s called us to walk in faith, peace, and trust. 💌 If today’s episode encouraged you, share it with a mama friend who needs the reminder that she’s not alone in her worries.

Welcome to the very first episode of Mama Walks with Jesus! In this heartfelt conversation, I share my story of faith—how God used motherhood to bring me closer to Him, even through fear, doubt, and loss. Motherhood often leaves us wondering if we’re the “right” mom for the job. In this episode, I’ll share: My journey of walking away from faith and how motherhood drew me back to Jesus The lightbulb moment at the kitchen sink that showed me God’s love in a new way How loss and miscarriage deepened my dependence on His Word Why motherhood, even in the messy and ordinary, is holy ground A simple prayer you can use when you feel overwhelmed or inadequate If you’ve ever felt like you’re failing, falling short, or not enough—this episode is for you.
