    Knickatoni

Only 1 more episode after this one then we’re going on a summer break until the end of July. First episode back will be August 3rd so put it in those calendars y’all! Reminder to please email me your loves/spirals at [email protected] . You can email me over the summer and I’ll read them next season too wink wink heart heart love youuuuu byeeeeeThe Knicks in 5 prophecy came true and New York City is electric right now!! Seriously, the community aspect I’ve been talking about the last couple of episodes as so needed feels so alive and  vibrant right now. In this episode I talk about community, seeing the 25th anniversary of Bridget Jones Diary at the Tribeca Film Festival, and my sweaty ass mess getting there. I also talk about reading your horoscopes for your rising sign and my aha moment of how my sun and rising really correlate even as a child. Lots of spirals this week like hating the term “aging gracefully.” No, thank you. I’ve been promising it so stay tuned until the end of this episode to hear my loves and spirals of all (or almost all) of the pasta shapes. Spoiler alert, my favorite is Rigatoni. I hope you’ll tune in. Only one more episode until summer break. Ok Love you, bye!!

    My Obsessions My Concerns

My poetry instructor had us list out our obsessions and concerns into two columns labeled “my obsessions and “my concerns.” It reminded me of what I’m doing with this podcast. My loves are my obsessions and my concerns are my spirals. Hey…. Our obsessions and concerns tie into our impulses that trickle into our writing and creative process and I love that I’ve been doing this all along and didn’t even know it! This week on the pod we are in full summer mode because New York City is electric right now and we’ve had the weather to back it up. I also talk about the infamous dot cakes and the cycle of desserts, the importance of community, along with probably too many other obsessions and current concerns. I hope you’ll tune in. Only three more episodes until summer break. We do it like the Italians over here at Mildly Spiraling, two months off for summer as it should be. As always I appreciate a listen, love, like, follow etc. Ok Love you, bye!

WTFAWDTS (wtf are we doing this summer)

Episode 15, Season 2, What’s up y’all!? I hope you didn’t miss me too much during the two week break. Well, actually, I hope you did. Did you miss me? Did you notice I was gone? What is life if not to be wanted? On this episode of the podcast, I have some updates from the two week wait that occurred during the two week break. Unfortunately, not great news, but what is life if not being vulnerable? I don’t know, I’m feeling extra meta and not in the gross Mark Zuckerberg way, but in the contemplative “what is life” way. Maybe it’s the poetry class I’m taking or may it’s the 7 months of fertility drugs? If you’re not into the fertility stuff cause let’s face it, I get it, I’ve got lots of other spirals and updates in the episode and I’d so appreciate a listen, love, like, follow etc. Xoxo my mildly spiralers! mail your loves and spirals to [email protected] and I’ll read them on the pod!

    The Woo Woo Episode

A new week, a new pod. You know how it works. :) This week I have some updates on my FET and starting new acupuncture, crystals, sage, all the woo soo stuff. It’s been so busy lately, but the podcast keeps me sane and I love sharing my 30s with all of you. Every day can feel like a new struggle or adventure depending on how you look at it. I’ve definitely been filling my schedule, but I realized it’s not giving me time to THINK. And, I’ve realized thinking is really important. I mean, I think we all need to think a little more, ya know!?I’ll be meditating on this and more superficial stuff that you can always count on because no, why do some people look so sexy when they’re tired and I look like death rolled over lol. I hope you’ll tune in and always I appreciate a heart and a follow! Xoxo!! Email your loves and spirals to [email protected] and I’ll read them on the pod!

    My Therapist Recommended a Margarita

Hi Mildly Spiralers, What do we think of that?! Love? Hate? Fine? Just OK? I'm fineeeee.... Really. Y'all my therapist told me to have a margarita. I mean, she doesn't need to tell me twice. I'm considering it medical advise at this point. On this week's episode you can find out if I had margarita, spoiler alert I was dragged to a brewery that didn't have margaritas instead. I also talk about the dangers of free bleeding at pilates. But, it's also kind of an exhilarating experience that I'd recommend, so I dk. I also have an update on my decision to do an FET, summer plans, and being Canada down. You don't want to miss this one!!! <3

    Litterer (boston accent) + Updates

I started watching the Rooster and it made me nostalgic for my college years in a small New England town. It made me think of two weird stories that have stuck with me over the years as what I can only describe as Masshole behavior and I use that term with love. Lots of updates on my fertility journey of course, it’s a long journey, and one that’s mostly been filled with downs, but I’m trying to find things that make me feel less stuck or like my life is on hold. I hope you enjoy my spirals and some minor rambling this week! Tune in, follow, and like! Muah xoxo! IG: @midlyspiralingpodYoutube: mildlyspiralingpodcastEmail me with your loves and spirals at [email protected]

Official Request for a Surprise Party

This week’s episode is a shortie, but a goodie especially if you’re ready for some serious spirals. I’m currently doing PIO shots and progesterone makes me exhausted and moody. And the weather has shown up in NYC to match my mood too. Lots of spirals like the progesterone shots and being in the TWW (two week wait) iykyk. I’d also really love to have a surprise party. Will someone please plan a surprise party for me!? Consider this my official request. I hope you’ll tune in! Don’t forget you can email me your loves and spirals to be featured on the podcast at [email protected]. You can also follow me on Instagram at @mildlyspiralingpod.

    Hyperfixations and Anesthesia Naps

This episode is all about hyperfixations. You know those hyperfixations you get when you’re depressed and the only thing getting you out of bed is raspberries covered in chocolate. Well that’s mine right now. A few years ago, it was fun soap. I accumulated lots and lots of soap. I say whatever gets you through the day these days, ya know?! I’m 2 days post egg retrieval and still feeling a little loopy and very crampy or as they say in the biz mild to moderate cramps which still absolutely suck. I feel like I have a lot of spirals this week, so if you love a good spiral tune in! And if you hate a good spiral I promise there is lots of love and joy too! Don’t forget you can email me your loves and spirals to be featured on the podcast at [email protected]. You can also follow me on Instagram at @mildlyspiralingpod.

    Creating Your Own Communities

This episode is all about community, community, community. It can be really hard to find community especially when you work from home in an ever isolating world, but I think being a part of and showing up for your community(ies)  it’s such an important form of resistance. And it can be a fun one too! I went to a jazz bar last week and it had me so enthralled that I literally jotted down in my notes app, “life is worth LIVING!!!!!!!!!!” Just a friendly reminder what music and art can do for you even in small doses.I’m deep into another IVF cycle and so far a lot has been very different i.e. dealing with the most insane insurance requirements, but a lot has been similar like I’m kind of in a routine with my medications. I mostly know what to expect, but I will always curse those ganirelix needles. IYKYK.I so appreciate everyone tuning in week after week or maybe this is your first episode! You’re now part of our little spiraling community, welcome, happy to have you here! :) Pssst don't forget you can email me your loves and spirals to be featured on the podcast at [email protected].

NYC Neighbor's New Hobby + Owning the IVF Process

You've got to love an episode where you're halfway through recording it and realize you haven't hit record on the video. So if you watch on YouTube you'll have a fun slideshow of my dogs to go with the episode this time!Psssst! I'm on youtube at @midlyspiralingpodcast. Check it out! It's been over a year since I learned about my infertility diagnosis and I feel like I'm just getting to a place where I'm owning it a bit more. Like yeah, it sucks, but sometimes you have to find light and laughter through it all. One thing is, I'm learning a lot about myself through the hard times and ultimately I like her a lot. There are lots of laughs and fun stories throughout the episode, but would it be an episode of Mildly Spiraling without the most niche mentions of fandoms? I had to make time to talk about the PWHL and the Peanuts and think I may need to designate some more time to draft each Peanuts girl to their own PWHL team.I hope you'll tune in and don't forget you can email me your loves and spirals to be featured on the podcast at [email protected].

    The Emotions are Inside Outing

Cue Sadness Cue Fear Cue Joy Cue ANXIETY because my girls (aka my emotions) have been loud this past week. I’ve been feeling extra emotional lately. Infertility is fucking hard and honestly there’s no way around it.Sometimes I think “why the hell am I doing this” as we enter what feels like WWIII, but we have to have hope, hope for a better future. This and finding little loves and lights in everyday life make it easier to get through. Oh and art, sports, and whatever makes you happy! On this episode I discuss a spiral that keeps coming up for me, shame. It’s such a tough feeling and one that I’m still figuring it out. It’s a tough conversation, but I hope that I bring a comedic twist to everything I do because honestly laughter is really the best medicine. Frame it and put it on the wall.Oh and as always, you know I throw a couple of random stories in there cause that’s just how my brain works.I hope you’ll tune in! <3

  15. 13

The Case of The Lost Wedding Ring

It’s been a busy week and I’m a little thrown off by Daylight Savings time. Anyone else feeling extra tired right now?On this week’s episode of the podcast I share a story about loosing my wedding ring at the beginning of the year. Eeeek! I also went to my first in-person PWHL game last week and let’s just say I plan to be a season ticket holder next year. It’s just so much fun and so empowering! If you’re loving the podcast please like and subscribe. You can also email me your loves and spirals and I’ll read them on the pod! Email me at [email protected]. I’d love to hear from you! <3

    I Love When Women

Hi! I just love when women. Full stop. I'm so proud of myself for taking steps to advocate for myself which has paid off big! I have some great news on new insurance with an added fertility benefit that I'm super excited about!I also discuss body image and how I'm struggling as society seems to be going back to a very dark time. Ok a lot of this episode is about hockey , but it isn't all about hockey, but maybe it is a little bit. I talk (rant) about the deep rooted misogyny within the NHL and Men's hockey in general and my new found love for the PWHL! You can now find videos of episodes on Youtube at MildlySpiralingPodcast. As always, please rate and subscribe if you're loving the episode and email me your loves and spirals at [email protected]. xx

    Every Little Joy and Spiral

On this week’s episode I talk about the joy of watching Alysa Liu skate to gold. As a former skater it’s incredible to see someone bring so much joy to the ice and truly she has cracked the mental code. I need her secrets! This weekend I had the opportunity to see Every Brilliant Thing during one of its previews on Broadway. I was blown away by the impact it had on me. What a beautiful testament to the little things that make life worth living. I hope you’ll tune into hear all about it along with some other joys and spirals. I’d also love if you’d follow me on wherever you listen to your podcasts, throw a rating up, and email me your loves and spirals to [email protected]. I always love to hear what is bringing other’s joy and I’ll even read them on the podcast!! <3

Unexpected Tears and Loving Your Journey

In this episode I talk about the recipe for a hangover from hell post- Valentines Day wine. I unexpectedly get pretty emotional discussing my journey as a figure skater and share my thoughts on some of the Milano Cortina stories so far. Anyway, why are fertility apps so rude? What’s with the notes about being required to take a hormone test on the daily. It’s all already stressful enough.

  20. 8

    Aging Like Fine Wine

It's episode 3 of Season 2 and we're in the middle of another arctic blast here in New York City. On this episode, I discuss everything from aging and getting low key kind of good at pilates, doing creative things just for fun, and being too plugged in. I also talk about my highlights from the opening ceremony of the Milano Cortina Winter Olympic games. I hope you'll tune in and join in on the conversation by letting me know what Winter Olympic sports you love and which ones send you into a spiral. <3

  21. 7

    Pilates Socks at the Bar

Episode 2 of Season 2 has me on a tangent, so much so that I think I blackout at one point chatting your ear off. In a good way, I hope!! On this episode I talk about caring less about what people think of you as you get older hence wearing pilates socks out to a bar and deciding to TTC in your late 30s. I cover how heavy the world is right now under my spirals, the passing of a comedic legend, and so much more. Tune in if you love anything and everything!

  22. 6

ICE sucks, IVF sucks, It's Season 2 of the pod, honey!

I also go through my INs of 2026 which include who the hottest muppet is (imo) and slippery ICE making these ICE agents fall right on their asses. My OUTs of 2026 include guilt and not going to therapy. Season 2 is going to be so fun and I hope you'll tune in!

    Second Time's The Charm

Wake up sweetie, new episode just dropped!! And somehow it's already episode six of the podcast! On this episode I give an update on my fertility journey. I included little music cues so you know when to tune in/out if it's not a subject you want to hear about. I talk about NYC's new mayor, Zohran Mamdani, M-A-M-D-A-N-I. I also discuss my past life in politics, being an adult and finally loving soup, the price of raspberries, and just trying to have a peaceful meal for once. If you're loving the podcast I would so appreciate a follow and rating! It helps a lot!

  30. -2

On the Other Side of a Spiral

On this episode of the pod I discuss one of my worst birthday parties that might have something to do with bee stings, a massage from hell, looking like a homeowner, and I'm joined by the tuck shop Mom herself! Just a side note that I was sent into a full on spiral because I realized after recording this episode that the recording on my computer stopped around ten minutes due to an incoming phone call. Luckily I was also recording on my phone, but you may notice a change in audio quality at that mark.

  31. -3

Did I See Notting Hill Too Young? + Bday bb

Hey, this episode is dropping on my birthday! Pour a glass of Riesling or any white wine really and join me as I share a story from summer camp that sent me into a spiral. Maybe it was just that I saw Notting Hill too young. I also talk about looking your worst when seeing your celebrity crush, the dreaded holiday pimple, and astrology. I'm a Scorpio Sun, Gemini Rising, Capricorn Moon if you wanted to know!

  32. -4

    Hot and Humbled

In this episode I'm joined by a very special guest, Patrick Polsin! We discuss the New York City mayoral debate. Hey, just how many parades are there in the city!? We still have no idea but apparently they're all very important. I discuss a weird experience with a doctor who played Heavy Metal music during a procedure, being humbled in your 30s , and Patrick discusses schlepping across Brooklyn with a very interesting substance.

  33. -5

Please Do Not Challenge Me on This

Ever feel like there has to be more to life than the Times Square M&M's store? Yeah, me too. On this episode I dive into artist's dates, bad therapists versus the power of finding a therapist that works for you, and how I (along with my husband) decided to move forward with IVF.

  34. -6

    I've Hatched!

A new podcast has entered the world! In this first episode I explore living life on your own timeline and that it's ok to not have it "figured out" at any age really. Secretly it's better that way. I also talk about moving to New York City at 36, fertility treatments and growing my family, Halloween decorations, my love for AOC trolling Stephen Miller, and my opinion on healthy cookies.
