ਏਕੁ ਪਿਤਾ ਏਕਸ ਕੇ ਹਮ ਬਾਰਿਕ ਤੂ ਮੇਰਾ ਗੁਰ ਹਾਈ ॥ The One God is our father; we are the children of the One God. You are our Guru. ਏਕ ਹੀ ਤੁਮਾਰਾ ਹਮਾਰਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਹੈ ਔ ਏਕ ਕੇ ਹੀ ਹਮ ਤੁਮ ਬਾਲਕੇ ਹੈਂ, ਪੁਨਃ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ ਗੁਰ ਭਾਈ ਭੀ ਹੈਂ॥ ਸੋਰਠਿ (ਮਃ ੫) (੧੨) ੧:੧ - ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ : ਅੰਗ ੬੧੧ ਪੰ. ੧੯ Raag Sorath Guru Arjan Dev ਸੁਣਿ ਮੀਤਾ ਜੀਉ ਹਮਾਰਾ ਬਲਿ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਸੀ ਹਰਿ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਦੇਹੁ ਦਿਖਾਈ ॥੧॥ Listen, friends: my soul is a sacrifice, a sacrifice to You; O Lord, reveal to me the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan. ||1|| ਸੁਣ ਹੇ ਮਿਤ੍ਰਾ! ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋ ਹਰੀ ਕਾ ਸਰੂਪੁ ਦੇਖਾਇਦੇ, ਤੇਰੇ ਉਪਰੋਂ ਹਮਾਰਾ ਜੀਉ ਬਲ ਬਲ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ॥੧॥ ਸੋਰਠਿ (ਮਃ ੫) (੧੨) ੧:੨ - ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ : ਅੰਗ ੬੧੧ ਪੰ. ੧੯ Raag Sorath Guru Arjan Dev ਸੁਣਿ ਮੀਤਾ ਧੂਰੀ ਕਉ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਈ ॥ Listen, friends: I am a sacrifice to the dust of Your feet. ਹੇ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਾ ਸੁਣ! ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਚਰਨੋਂ ਕੀ ਧੂਰ ਕੇ ਬਲਿਹਾਰ ਜਾਤਾ ਹੂੰ॥ ਸੋਰਠਿ (ਮਃ ੫) (੧੨) ੧:੧ - ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ : ਅੰਗ ੬੧੨ ਪੰ. ੧ Raag Sorath Guru Arjan Dev ਇਹੁ ਮਨੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਭਾਈ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ This mind is yours, O Siblings of Destiny. ||Pause|| ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਹੁ ਮਨ ਭੀ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੀ ਜਾਨਿਆ ਹੈ, ਪੁਨਃ ਤੇਰੀ ਬਾਤ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋ ਭਾਈ ਹੈ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ਸੋਰਠਿ (ਮਃ ੫) (੧੨) ੧:੨ - ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ : ਅੰਗ ੬੧੨ ਪੰ. ੧ Raag Sorath Guru Arjan Dev ਪਾਵ ਮਲੋਵਾ ਮਲਿ ਮਲਿ ਧੋਵਾ ਇਹੁ ਮਨੁ ਤੈ ਕੂ ਦੇਸਾ ॥ I wash your feet, I massage and clean them; I give this mind to you. ਤੇਰੇ ਚਰਨੋਂ ਕੋ (ਮਲੋਵਾ) ਮਲਾ, ਭਾਵ ਮੁਠੀ ਚਾਪੀ ਕਰਤਾ ਹੂੰ, ਪੁਨਃ ਮੈਂ ਮਲ ਮਲ ਕੇ ਧੋਵਤਾ ਹੂੰ ਔ ਏਹ ਮਨ ਭੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੋ ਦੇਵੋਂਗਾ॥ ਸੋਰਠਿ (ਮਃ ੫) (੧੨) ੨:੧ - ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ : ਅੰਗ ੬੧੨ ਪੰ. ੧ Raag Sorath Guru Arjan Dev ਸੁਣਿ ਮੀਤਾ ਹਉ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਣਾਈ ਆਇਆ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਮਿਲਉ ਦੇਹੁ ਉਪਦੇਸਾ ॥੨॥ Listen, friends: I have come to Your Sanctuary; teach me, that I might unite with God. ||2|| ਸੁਣ ਹੇ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਾ! ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਆਇਆ ਹਾਂ, ਐਸੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇਹੁ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਕੋ ਮਿਲੋਂ॥੨॥☬ਉੱਤ੍ਰ: ਸੋਰਠਿ (ਮਃ ੫) (੧੨) ੨:੨ - ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ : ਅੰਗ ੬੧੨ ਪੰ. ੨ Raag Sorath Guru Arjan Dev ਮਾਨੁ ਨ ਕੀਜੈ ਸਰਣਿ ਪਰੀਜੈ ਕਰੈ ਸੁ ਭਲਾ ਮਨਾਈਐ ॥ Do not be proud; seek His Sanctuary, and accept as good all that He does. ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਮਾਨ ਨ ਕਰੀਏ ਪੁਨਃ ਸਰਨ ਮੇਂ ਪੜੀਏ, ਜੋ ਕੁਛ ਪਰਮੇਸ੍ਵਰ ਕਰੇ ਸੋ ਉਸ ਕੋ ਭਲਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਮੰਨੀਏ॥ ਸੋਰਠਿ (ਮਃ ੫) (੧੨) ੩:੧ - ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ : ਅੰਗ ੬੧੨ ਪੰ. ੩ Raag Sorath Guru Arjan Dev ਸੁਣਿ ਮੀਤਾ ਜੀਉ ਪਿੰਡੁ ਸਭੁ ਤਨੁ ਅਰਪੀਜੈ ਇਉ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਪਾਈਐ ॥੩॥ Listen, friends: dedicate your soul, body and your whole being to Him; thus you shall receive the Blessed Vision of His Darshan. ||3|| ਸੁਣ ਹੇ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਾ! ਜੀਉ ਔ ਸਰੀਰ ਪੁਨਃ ਸੂਖਮ ਸਰੀਰ ਸਭ ਤਿਸ ਕੋ ਅਰਪ ਦੇਈਏ, ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਕਾ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਪਾਈਤਾ ਹੈ॥੩॥ ਸੋਰਠਿ (ਮਃ ੫) (੧੨) ੩:੨ - ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ : ਅੰਗ ੬੧੨ ਪੰ. ੩ Raag Sorath Guru Arjan Dev ਭਇਓ ਅਨੁਗ੍ਰਹੁ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਸੰਤਨ ਕੈ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਾ ਹੈ ਮੀਠਾ ॥ He has shown mercy to me, by the Grace of the Saints; the Lord's Name is sweet to me. ਸੰਤੋਂ ਕੇ (ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ) ਪ੍ਰਸਿੰਨ ਹੋਣੇ ਸੇ ਜਬ ਹਰੀ ਕਾ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋਣਾ ਹੂਆ, ਤਬ ਹਰੀ ਨਾਮ ਕਾ ਰਸੁ ਮੀਠਾ ਲਾਗਾ ਹੈ॥ ਸੋਰਠਿ (ਮਃ ੫) (੧੨) ੪:੧ - ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ : ਅੰਗ ੬੧੨ ਪੰ. ੪ Raag Sorath Guru Arjan Dev ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਕਉ ਗੁਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਧਾਰੀ ਸਭੁ ਅਕੁਲ ਨਿਰੰਜਨੁ ਡੀਠਾ ॥੪॥੧॥੧੨॥ The Guru has shown mercy to servant Nanak; I see the casteless, immaculate Lord everywhere. ||4||1||12|| ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਮੈਂ ਦਾਸ ਪਰ ਜਬ ਗੁਰੋਂ ਨੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰੀ ਤਬ (ਅਕੁਲ) ਜਾਤੀ, ਕੁਲ ਔਰ ਮਾਇਆ ਸੇ ਰਹਤ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਕੋ ਦੇਖਾ ਹੈ॥੪॥੧॥੧੨॥ * ਨੋਟ: ਇਥੋਂ 'ਘਰੁ ੨' ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪਹਿਲੇ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੰਗ੍ਰਹ ੧੧ ਹੈ। * ਨੋਟ: ਇਸ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਵਿਚ ਇਕ ਜਿਗਿਆਸੂ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਸਵਾਲ ਕਰਾ ਕੇ, ਤੇ, ਕਿਸੇ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿਵਾ ਕੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਦੀ ਜੁਗਤੀ ਦੱਸੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।

ਸਖੀ ਨਾਲਿ ਵਸਾ ਅਪੁਨੇ ਨਾਹ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਸੰਗਿ ਹਿਲਿਆ ॥ O my companions, now I dwell with my Beloved Husband; my mind and body are attuned to the Lord. ਹੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨ ਸਖੀ! ਅਬ ਮੈਂ ਅਪਨੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਪਤੀ ਸਾਥ ਵਸਤੀ ਹੂੰ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨ ਤਨ ਤਿਸ ਹਰੀ ਸਾਥ ਹਿਲਿਆ ਹੈ॥ ਗਉੜੀ (ਮਃ ੫) ਛੰਤ (੪) ੪:੧ - ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ : ਅੰਗ ੨੪੯ ਪੰ. ੧੬ Raag Gauri Guru Arjan Dev ਸੁਣਿ ਸਖੀਏ ਮੇਰੀ ਨੀਦ ਭਲੀ ਮੈ ਆਪਨੜਾ ਪਿਰੁ ਮਿਲਿਆ ॥ Listen, O my companions: now I sleep well, since I found my Husband Lord. ਹੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨ ਰੂਪਿ ਸਖੀ! ਅਬ ਮੇਰੀ ਸਾਂਤੀ ਰੂਪੁ ਨਿੰਦ੍ਰਾ (ਭਲੀ) ਉਤਮ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਅਪਨਾ ਪਤੀ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹੈ॥ ਗਉੜੀ (ਮਃ ੫) ਛੰਤ (੪) ੪:੨ - ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ : ਅੰਗ ੨੪੯ ਪੰ. ੧੭ Raag Gauri Guru Arjan Dev ਭ੍ਰਮੁ ਖੋਇਓ ਸਾਂਤਿ ਸਹਜਿ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਪਰਗਾਸੁ ਭਇਆ ਕਉਲੁ ਖਿਲਿਆ ॥ My doubts have been dispelled, and I have found intuitive peace and tranquility through my Lord and Master. I have been enlightened, and my heart-lotus has blossomed forth. ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਭ੍ਰਮ ਖੋਯਾ ਹੈ, ਅਪਨੇ ਸ੍ਵਾਮੀ ਪਰਮੇਸ੍ਵਰ ਕੋ ਪਾਇ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਸਹਜੇ ਹੀ ਸਾਂਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਭਈ ਹੈ, ਜਬ ਗਿਆਨ ਰੂਪ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ ਹੂਆ, ਤਬ ਮੇਰਾ ਰਿਦਾ ਕੌਲ ਖਿੜਿਆ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੂਆ ਹੈ॥ ਗਉੜੀ (ਮਃ ੫) ਛੰਤ (੪) ੪:੩ - ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ : ਅੰਗ ੨੪੯ ਪੰ. ੧੮ Raag Gauri Guru Arjan Dev ਵਰੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੋਹਾਗੁ ਨ ਟਲਿਆ ॥੪॥੪॥੨॥੫॥੧੧॥ I have obtained God, the Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts, as my Husband; O Nanak, my marriage shall last forever. ||4||4||2||5||11|| ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਜਬ ਮੈਨੇ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਪਤੀ ਕੌ ਪਾਇ ਲੀਆ ਹੈ ਤਬ ਪੁਨਾ ਮੇਰਾ ਸੋਹਾਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਟਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਮੇਂ ਪਤੀ ਪਰਮੇਸ੍ਵਰ ਕੀ ਅਮਰ ਰੂਪਤਾ ਸੇ ਅਪਨੀ ਅਭੇਦਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕਰੀ, ਭਾਵ ਤਿਸ ਸਾਥ ਅਭੇਦ ਹੋਇ ਗਈ ਹੂੰ॥੪॥੪॥੨॥੫॥੧੧॥ * ਵੇਰਵਾ: ਮ: ੫ ਦੇ ਛੰਤ = ੪। ਮ: ੧ ਦੇ ਛੰਤ = ੨। ਮ: ੩ ਦੇ ਛੰਤ = ੫। ਜੋੜ = ੧੧।
