God Uses Ordinary People: Lessons from Gideon on Fear, Faith, and Purpose
Gideon was hiding in a winepress when God called him a mighty man of valor. He did not feel mighty. He felt afraid. Sound familiar? God does not call the qualified. He qualifies the called. Your past does not have the final word over your life. What is the fear or idol keeping you hiding in the winepress instead of stepping into what God has called you to do? ★ Support this podcast ★

The Theology of Healing

The Bible says a crushed spirit dries up the bones, and science is finally catching up to what Scripture has always known. Jesus came to heal you completely, spirit, soul, and body. There is a difference between managing your pain and actually releasing it. Which one have you been doing? ★ Support this podcast ★

Legacy and Future Generations
Faith is not built in isolation. It is shaped by the people, stories, and moments that come before us, and it is meant to be passed forward. Every time God shows up in your life, every testimony you hear, and every story of Scripture you receive is a deposit into what can be called a bank of testimonies. When hard times come, you can draw from that bank and remind yourself that God has been faithful before. The story of Rahab shows how one generation of bold, unlikely faith can set an entire family line on a different trajectory. From Rahab came Boaz, then Ruth, then Obed, then Jesse, then David, a young man who faced a giant with confidence because he knew the God who saves. Spiritual legacy is not automatic. It requires intentionality, faithfulness, and a willingness to show up for the people around you. ★ Support this podcast ★

The Root of Bondaage
Since the beginning, humanity has faced a fundamental choice between two ways of living: one sourced in God and one sourced in self. The Tree of Life represents a life of grace, faith, and dependence on God, while the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil represents self-reliance and the belief that we must earn what only God can freely give. Many of the patterns of bondage we experience, including anxiety, self-protection, and performance-driven faith, are the fruit of reaching for what God never intended us to carry. The enemy works to pull us away from God through doubt, distortion of His Word, and the lie that He is withholding something good from us. But Jesus is the Tree of Life, and He invites us into a life of abundance through dependence on Him. ★ Support this podcast ★

The Battlefield of the Mind: Renewing Your Thinking
The greatest battle every Christian faces is not physical, relational, or financial. It is the battle of the mind. Before the enemy attacks your marriage, your ministry, or your purpose, he attacks your thinking first. His primary weapon is deception, and if he can influence your thoughts, he can influence your choices, your direction, and ultimately your destiny. God has equipped believers with the helmet of salvation, which is a daily reminder of identity in Christ, and the power of His Word to tear down mental strongholds. Renewing the mind is not a one-time event but a lifelong discipline of identifying lies, replacing them with Scripture, and repeatedly choosing to agree with God's truth. When your mind is renewed, your life is transformed. ★ Support this podcast ★

Freedom Identity
Freedom is not just a political concept. It is a spiritual reality that every believer has been called to walk in through Jesus Christ. The enemy works to keep Christians from living in that freedom by using lies to build strongholds that distort their true identity. Truth is not what your past says, your failures say, or what others have spoken over you. Truth is what God says about you. In Christ, you are a child of God, a new creation, forgiven, equipped, and sent with purpose. You carry resurrection power and the authority of the Kingdom. You were called to freedom, and that freedom is yours to stand firm in every single day. ★ Support this podcast ★

Dad You're A Super Soldier
Fatherhood is one of the most spiritually contested roles a person can hold, but God has fully equipped every believer for the fight. Drawing from Ephesians 6, the armor of God is not symbolic decoration. It is real spiritual equipment for real spiritual warfare. The enemy targets fathers and families because a disconnected or defeated father distorts the image of a Heavenly Father for children. Each piece of armor, from the belt of truth to the sword of the Spirit, speaks directly into how men lead, love, and parent. Fathers are called to make their homes places of grace, safety, and forgiveness. The war has already been won by Jesus, and our job is to enforce that victory in our homes and families. ★ Support this podcast ★

Original Design: Free To Be Free
Many of us carry false beliefs about ourselves that don't align with how God sees us, keeping us trapped in cycles of shame and fear. Christ set us free not just from sin, but for freedom itself - to become who He's called us to be and fulfill the dreams He's placed in our hearts. These bondages often come from negative words spoken over us or traumatic experiences that create destructive cycles of self-protection. The real problem isn't sin, which has already been dealt with, but our source of truth. Freedom comes not by trying to remove negative thoughts through willpower, but by being filled with God's presence, which naturally displaces lies with His truth about who we are in Christ. ★ Support this podcast ★

Original Design: Obedience, Prayer and Unity
The small things in our spiritual lives matter tremendously to God. Just as basketball coach John Wooden taught players to properly put on socks and shoes before focusing on advanced skills, we must master spiritual fundamentals. In Acts 1, the disciples demonstrated three crucial elements before receiving the Holy Spirit at Pentecost: obedience to Jesus' instructions, unity of heart and purpose, and devoted prayer. These seemingly simple practices create the foundation for God's blessing and breakthrough. When we're faithful in small things like following God's clear direction, building unity with other believers, and maintaining passionate prayer lives, we position ourselves to receive what God has promised. ★ Support this podcast ★

Identi5: Making Disciples Part 2 | Pastor Chris Bower
We have built NCC to make disciples. Disciples that will go to all the world and make more disciples. D.L. Moody says "It is better to train ten people to do the work of the ministry, than for you to do the work of ten people in ministry." But it is harder. It may be harder to do it the way the Lord has called us to do it but this is the way we are going. We will disciple you and others coming in as far as you are willing to go. Do you want to go?
