Judges 6:12 shows us how God called Gideon a “mighty man of valor” long before Gideon ever saw himself that way. God replaced Gideon’s insecurity with truth, speaking identity over him and awakening the warrior inside. Today, God is doing the same for you. The enemy wants to convince you that you are small, powerless, or defined by your past. But Jesus Christ declares something different. You are chosen, adopted, empowered, and equipped with authority to overcome darkness and walk confidently in the identity He already gave you. You are not your trauma. You are not the words spoken over you. You are who God declares you to be. Through Christ, you are strong, bold, renewed, and filled with power to move mountains, break chains, set captives free, and shine His light everywhere you go. In this episode, We expose the strategies of the spiritual thief—the enemy who comes to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Just like natural identity theft, spiritual identity theft requires action: recognizing the thief, binding the strongman, and evicting what does not belong. Jesus has given us authority over all the power of the enemy. In today’s session, I expose the Python spirit, the constricting force connected to the spirit of divination in Acts 16:16. In the original Greek text, the phrase “spirit of divination” is written as *pneuma pythona* — the spirit of Python. Common signs of Python include: • Sudden or persistent exhaustion • Brain fog or confusion • Emotional heaviness • Discouragement after breakthrough • Relational tension or isolation • Chest pressure or tightness • Night disturbances or dreams involving snakes • Difficulty praying or worshiping • Feeling spiritually stuck or blocked • Loss of clarity or sensitivity to the Holy Spirit • Distraction during spiritual moments • Pressure right before breakthrough • Strain on relationships during growth • Creativity, purpose, or calling feeling “squeezed” Python is a “gatekeeper” spirit and often works with: • Beguiling spirits (deception) • Seducing spirits (lust, pride, greed) • Jezebel (control, manipulation) THE TEACHING I break down the patterns connected to python: 1. Our words are not empty—they carry spiritual weight, shaping our identity, our future, and the atmosphere around us.
