Exodus 10:3 “Let my people go, so that they may worship me.” Exodus 6:7 “I will take you as my own people, and I will be your God.” God’s heart for His people has always been freedom—freedom from bondage, freedom from fear, and freedom from the identities shaped by past wounds. In Exodus, God not only led Israel out of Egypt, but He also began the deeper work of leading Egypt out of them. Deliverance from slavery happened in a moment, but transformation took time. God desired more than their escape; He desired their hearts, their trust, and their understanding of who they truly were as His chosen people. This podcast explores how deliverance is not just the casting out of unclean spirits, but the renewing of the mind and the awakening of true identity in Christ. You are not defined by your trauma, your past, or the labels placed on you. In Jesus, the old self has passed away, and you are called into a life of freedom, authority, and purpose. The enemy’s strategy is to keep believers trapped in a victim mentality—discouraged, limited, and afraid to step into their calling. But when you awaken to who you are in Christ, everything changes. Just as David faced Goliath not with his own strength but with confidence in God, you too can stand boldly against every giant that rises against you. Fear loses its grip when you remember whose you are. Numbers 13:31 reveals how fear can overshadow faith: “We can’t attack those people; they are stronger than we are.” But Jesus reminds us in Matthew 19:26, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” On our own, we are limited. With God, nothing is beyond His reach. Throughout Scripture, those whom Jesus set free were the ones who came to Him in faith—believing He could heal, deliver, and restore. He never forced freedom; He invited it. And today, He is still calling His people to rise, to walk out of the Egypt of their past, and to step into the freedom already secured through Him. This message is a call to stop living beneath your identity, to rise up in the strength of the Lord, and to move forward—because the One who led Israel out of bondage is still delivering His people today.

He rarely comes with an obvious lie—he twists God’s truth, just like he did with Eve in the garden. We also look at the Israelites as they came out of Egypt. Even though they left Egypt physically, Egypt was still inside them. They carried old mindsets, past pain, and spiritual bondage that affected how they saw themselves. In the same way, many believers today carry their own “Egypt”—past hurts, emotional wounds, and false identities that keep them spiritually stuck. Satan uses words to distort how we see ourselves and to twist God’s truth about our identity in Christ. His goal is to keep us enslaved to the past instead of walking in the freedom Jesus paid for. But God steps into our story with His truth. Just like He did with Gideon—who saw himself as weak and insignificant—God speaks directly to our identity. He called Gideon a mighty man of valor, revealing who Gideon truly was, not who fear told him he was. This teaching will encourage you to break free from old lies, recognize the enemy’s tactics, and embrace your true identity in Christ.

You are not the words spoken over you. You are who God declares you to be. Through Christ, you are strong, bold, renewed, and filled with power to move mountains, break chains, set captives free, and shine His light everywhere you go. Just like natural identity theft, spiritual identity theft requires action: recognizing the thief, binding the strongman, and evicting what does not belong. Jesus has given us authority over all the power of the enemy. In today’s session, I expose the Python spirit, the constricting force connected to the spirit of divination in Acts 16:16. In the original Greek text, the phrase “spirit of divination” is written as *pneuma pythona* — the spirit of Python. Common signs of Python include: • Sudden or persistent exhaustion • Brain fog or confusion • Emotional heaviness • Discouragement after breakthrough • Relational tension or isolation • Chest pressure or tightness • Night disturbances or dreams involving snakes • Difficulty praying or worshiping • Feeling spiritually stuck or blocked • Loss of clarity or sensitivity to the Holy Spirit • Distraction during spiritual moments • Pressure right before breakthrough • Strain on relationships during growth • Creativity, purpose, or calling feeling “squeezed” Python is a “gatekeeper” spirit and often works with: • Beguiling spirits (deception) • Seducing spirits (lust, pride, greed) • Jezebel (control, manipulation) THE TEACHING I break down the patterns connected to python: 1.
